    Goal hanging pays off again.

The BBC are wasteful. The Montacutie is away ski-ing or sitting in the sun. We cannot begrudge Sarah her hols especially as they are laid down by employee law. But The Montacutie does not work Fridays. She takes a long weekend and it probably is not taken out of her salary! The Beeb is wasteful and other BBC employees are expected to cover for Sarah Montague.

As I mentioned on the last thread – Reform have won the right to challenge TTKs pitiful attempt to suppress local elections . The case is to be held on the 19TH February .

I suspect a full on set of TTK judges will throw it out .

But I wonder whether each election cancellation will be examined or they’ll all be done as a job lot ?

The Marxist speaker has – I understand – called for the elections to go ahead – but this may be misinformation ….

Britain really has descended with such a shameful situation … ‘shameful ‘ being TTK favoured word ….

He was done for trafficking children. In the middle is Islamist lawyer Akhmed Yakoob. All good pals with Ayoub Khans MP.

One man’s healthy is another man’s fat mare…..besides the NHS has declared cousin marriage is a good thing and the resulting offspring and any genetic issues are not a problem….it’s cultural…other cultures think this is acceptable and so should we…not only that but it is economically advantageous…keeping money in the family…lol…

‘According to the article, published by NHS England’s Genomics Education Programme, cousin marriage – which is particularly widespread in families of Pakistani Muslim heritage – can have “economic advantages”…..this guidance declares that the “increased risk of genetic conditions among the offspring of close relative couples” has “often been exaggerated”. It also tells midwives that “discouraging cousin marriage is inappropriate”, and that they must not “stigmatise” patients who have a baby with their first cousin – because, in some cultures, it’s “perfectly normal”.’

FGM, rape, misogyny, beheadings, killing gays and Jews…all ‘acceptable’ in many ‘cultures’…is the NHS suggesting we should adopt those and so many others as well? Maybe a bit of voodoo or cannibalism?

Man jailed for 10 years after chainsaw murder bid on police officer (BBC)

Man, BBC…? We’ve all heard the story of the Welsh Choir Boy – How about the: Renfrewshire… Lumberjack?

Our BBC refers of course to Liridon Kastrati, 32: Albanian national

I don’t know about you, dear reader, but I’d be very concerned at being chased with a chainsaw brandished by a man named… Kastrati…!

The story brought back to mind the 1983 Brian De Palma directed movie Scarface starring Al Pacino and specifically two iconic movie moments – Hector “The Toad” brutally dismembering Angel Fernández (Pepe Serna) with a chainsaw during a failed drug deal and the finale where Pacino as drug boss Tony Montana, wild-eyed and coked up, grips a grenade launcher like it’s his last lifeline. He snarls, “Say hello to my little friend!”

Oh, ironically enough: Tony Montana enters the U.S. in 1980 as a Cuban refugee during the Mariel boatlift. He arrives in Miami by sea, is processed at a detention camp, and secures a green card by murdering a former Cuban general for drug lord Frank Lopez. He lies to officials, claiming to be a political prisoner – thank you A.I.

Perhaps if our Boarder Force, Visa department, etc knew their movies?

As for the news headlines – it’s still all Greenland and Beckhams.

The ever-excitable Daily Mail: ‘Inappropriate dancing? How CAN any son be so cruel to his own mother? – frets Sarah Vine.

As a quick litmus test of appropriateness – vis-à-vis the battle of the sexes – one likes to reverse the sexes in a journalistic statement and see if it would still pass muster?

To wit: ‘Dad’ dancing? How CAN any daughter be so cruel to her own father? – Nope, thought not.

The Sun makes a bid for someone to leak the evidence: Becks, lies and video tape… Wedding footage could prove who’s right

Well, be fair, the papers are probably on best behaviour: Prince Harry to give evidence again in latest privacy lawsuit against Mail publisher (Reuters)

Meanwhile, in further international news (‘cos not much of note ever happens here): Israel razes UN main hub… Demolition teams have started to bulldoze the East Jerusalem headquarters of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (FT)

And if that doesn’t raise much sympathy… think of the children…

Palestinian children’s football pitch faces Israeli demolition ultimatum… Israeli authorities have ordered the football club to take the pitch apart, or they’ll demolish it (John Sudworth, Reporting from Bethlehem, BBC)

Michael Gove is now the editor of the Spectator Magazine which is still heavily aligned with the Tory party but shows more and more signs of trying to ‘castoff’ from that sinking hulk.
As well as the magazine it produces pod casts on which the editor often appears discussing issues of the day. It is fascinating watching him trying to re write history. Recently he has tried to pretend that he was never a strong advocate for Net Zero and always thought that it was too extreme.
Yesterday his latest chapter in his ‘ I never fully supported that policy’ rewrite of the past, is to claim that the Tories were misled by the Treasury about mass immigration. Economic figures produced by the bean counters strongly indicated that mass immigration was an economic necessity . These figures overcame his reservations about the cultural problems of the policy .
He claims that Only recently have new economic figures demonstrated that mass immigration has cost theUK hundreds of billions already and that this will continue for decades to come.
Of course to any sensible person he appears to be either a liar or a fool or possibly both.
Having said that he is doing a decent job as editor and the magazine is becoming increasingly open to truly right of centre and nationalist rather than the almost exclusively internationalist articles as it was under the previous editor Fraser Nelson.
Gove of course remains a mainstream Tory and strong advocate for Badenoch.

“Wind turbines are generally designed to last 20 to 25 years, but with proper maintenance, they can often operate commercially for longer, sometimes exceeding 30 years, though costs increase and newer, more efficient models often lead to replacement (repowering) earlier. ”

“Solar panels typically last 25 to 30 years, but they don’t suddenly stop working; instead, their efficiency slowly degrades by about 0.5-1% per year, meaning they still produce usable power long after the warranty period (usually 25 years) expires, often maintaining 80% or more of their original output.”

      Which national campaign?
      Informed by which research?
Why does it reference supply teachers? How many of them were questioned? What methodology was used? What does the term ‘regularly’ mean – daily? weekly? monthly? What do the permanent teaching staff say on the matter?

In the absence of such information, this article comes across not as news but simply as a publicity puff for activists.

A nice clear speech, but Linda Pidcock can you clarify …

        – do you mean 16.5K people need food parcels or do you mean 16.5K food parcels are used? Two very different things.
        – is 16.5K parcels just for the nurses, doctors and firefighters or for people in other circumstances, you focus on these professions because more of them use food banks?
        – do you have a breakdown of the people collecting food parcels with a link?
        – Population of County Durham (50K @ 2011) and a food parcel being usable for one day means parcels feed 0.09% of County Durham?
        – if 16.5K people are using food parcels all the time, then 16.5/50 then 33% of County Durham are struggling to be feed – this statistic would be very scary indeed and a better one to use if correct?

    ——————————————————————————

A couple of Pakistanis and a Romanian mentioned, diversity rules ok.

    ————————————————————————————-

Cheating cases during practical and theory driving tests rose by nearly 50 per cent last year in England, Scotland and Wales, new figures show.

The cheating methods varied, according to freedom of information data from the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), with more than 1,100 cases involving the use of Bluetooth headsets.

Overall, nearly 100 offenders were prosecuted for trying to cheat themselves or for impersonating driving test candidates.

Industry leaders blamed the increase on the nationwide shortage of tests and drivers’ desperation to pass, while the DVSA blamed a general rise in cheating and improved detection.

A Press Association News Agency freedom information request revealed 2,844 attempts to cheat during driving tests in the year to September 2025, 47% higher than the previous year.

Of those, more than a third (1,113) involved the use of technology, such as an earpiece connected via Bluetooth to a concealed phone, to try to cheat at a theory test.

Meanwhile people attempted 1,084 times to try to take theory tests while impersonating the registered candidate.

And in 647 incidents, people pretended to be the registered candidate for a practical test.

Dr Rasha Kassem, leader of the Fraud Research Group at Aston University, warned of the dangers of people passing tests illegally without actually knowing how to drive.

“It means that there will be more accidents, collisions, insurance issues as well, damage to the car, and damage to human beings, injuries, and in some cases, death,” she said.

“There has to be public awareness, because this is a serious crime, from my perspective, and also in the eyes of the law. It is fraud.”

Impersonators, and those who use them, face punishments ranging from driving bans to prison sentences. They can also be ordered to carry out unpaid work or made to pay court costs.

Ninety-six people were prosecuted for attempting to cheat on driving tests or impersonate candidates in the 12 months to September last year.

Steps taken to try and prevent fraud including matching a practical test candidate’s face with their photo ID, as well as asking theory candidates to roll up their sleeves and show their pockets are empty.

Examples of people prosecuted last year, reported by the Press Association News Agency, include 23-year-old Qounain Khan, who was handed an eight-month prison sentence in June 2025 after pleading guilty to impersonating learners at theory test centres 12 times.

The court heard impersonators could be paid up to £2,000 for passing a test.

Sorina-Ana Turcitu, 42, admitted attempting to take a practical driving test on behalf of someone else. She was sentenced to 12 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for 18 months in September 2025.

And Ali Rasul, 22, was handed a two-year prison sentence in November 2025 after being caught repeatedly trying to cheat the theory test over an eight-month period either by using a hidden earpiece or an impersonator.

How often do we hear the lefties using the “If it saves one child’s life it’s worth it” when they are trying to bring in new laws and restrictions or start up free breakfasts and other goodies.
With all the starving waifs walking barefoot for miles to get their bowl of gruel and if their mother brings them in, an exchange of her pyjamas for the trek back home, it sounds like it makes a good case for free stuff to save the dying children.

20mph speed limits to save children’s lives (not revenue raisers) so effective they are everywhere, even with no schools or children anywhere near (just in case)

With all this care and sympathy going out to save (even one) child(ren) how is it that hundreds of thousands of these same (starving ragged) children who are (still) being raped, tortured, abused, drugged and used by the likes of doctors, engineers and Northern Ireland Protocol Experts, are not being noticed.
Is there not enough (“if it saves one ((hundred thousand)))”

    It’s like Iran.
The lefties are very selective in who they get their little flags out for.
I wonder, if, instead of being mainly white little girls being abused it was another group. (Have a guess)
Do you think there would be any reaction from THEIR parents and the lefties. I think we all know the answer to that.

So then, the next time the lefties try the “if it saves one child’s life” argument let’s have someone coming back with “what about the hundreds of thousands of children’s lives you ignore”

Ukraine borders are worth defending, UK borders are racist. Vote for Change, not necessarily good change. Ukrainain arsonists will be ignored. Afghans from intolerant Afghan will be ignored with a super injunction. But Chinese solar and build them a new embassy house in London. Sell Chagos for one dorrah.

The broadcaster has previously used YouTube, which is owned by Google, to promote clips and trailers for its own shows in the UK. But the new move will see the BBC make content primarily aimed at YouTube’s digital-native younger audience, although it may also be made available on the BBC’s iPlayer and Sounds platforms. The new programmes will feature adverts when viewed from outside of the UK, generating extra funds for the corporation at a time when its future funding model is being debated.”

The Mad Marxist Monk is once again reaching under the cushions to find billions upon billions to splash on his green nightmare….apparently it’s one of those budget anomalies where if it’s in a separate budget it doesn’t count as spending on the main budget and so he can just spurge and splurge and splurge signing cheques with abandon and without any recourse to Parliament, the Treasury or indeed anyone who could hold him accountable.

Just where does the money come from? Good question…thought I might hear it on Today as Nick Robinson investigated, lol, the latest MMM generosity….of course he needed an expert on nut zero and so wheeled in the BBC’s very own green fanatic Justin Rowlatt….who pronounced all was good and that the green industry all loved this new ‘investment’…lol…as they might…but somehow in all the backslapping excitement Robinson forgot to ask where the money was coming from. Odd huh?

But apparently some questions do need answering….or rather some critical claims need debunking…such as the true cost of nut zero….a gross amount of £7.6 trillion…or maybe even more….allegedly….or not as the BBC’s ‘More or Less’ insists…

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002q2lw

The Institute for Economic Affairs has crunched some nut zero figures and is claiming that the true cost of NZism will be £7.6 bn as a gross figure…

‘The cost of net zero is highly likely to be above the 2020 estimate of roughly £3 trillion from the National Electricity System Operator (NESO), and could even be above this year’s attempt, which calculated gross cash costs of £7.6 trillion or over £9 trillion including the carbon costs of emissions.

If we are to have a serious debate about net zero, the various public bodies need to be more transparent and frankly more honest, both about the upfront costs and their assumptions about the operational savings that net zero will bring.’

The BBC begged to differ and claimed that the reports author ‘accepted’ that he was wrong…er..except, as the interview immediately showed, he didn’t. He said that yes, taking out certain criteria and you would get a smaller figure but as a whole, in the round, the bigger figure was the true cost.

Classic BBC…do an interview and summarise it…and present your own conclusion as fact…so very Nick Robinson as he rapidly closes an interview……’So what you are saying……’….when of course they said and meant no such thing.

Why is the BBC so desperate to shut down any and all doubts about NZism and climate change dystopia?

Here’s a classic headline from a few days ago as the BBC has to admit a drop in temperature but then insists you’re all going to burn…

‘Global temperatures dipped in 2025 but more heat records on way, scientists warn’

And isn’t warm weather better? It will mean we don’t have to burn fuel to heat our homes….

‘A very cold start to 2025 and the growing power demands of data centres and cryptocurrencies saw US emissions of planet-warming gases rise for the first time in three years, a new analysis shows.
Last year homes burned more gas for heating while the use of coal surged by 13% to meet rising electricity demands, the data finds.’

  29. pugnazious says:

The BBC lying by omission and sleight of hand…just why do they love China so much?

‘The rising demand for power combined with the higher cost of gas was behind the 13% surge in US coal use last year.

That was in marked contrast to both India and China, where coal use for electricity dropped 3% and 1.6% respectively as both countries added record amounts of wind and solar energy, according to an analysis, external for the website, Carbon Brief.’

Hmmm….the proportion of energy generated by coal has certainly dropped…but of course that doesn’t mean coal use has dropped…energy use has gone up and renewables has taken up the extra demand but coal is still there as strong as ever…along with gas…

‘Coal production in China hit an all-time high last year….Natural gas production also hit an all-time high as it continued an upward curve spanning three decades, and crude oil production also surged..

China is still building new coal-powered generation capacity as well. The country is set to commission as many as 85 coal-fired power generating units this year, out of a total global of 104 coal projects slated for start-up in 2026, according to data by non-profit Global Energy Monitor, out earlier this month.

Of all the 63 GW of coal-fired power generation expected to begin commercial operations globally this year, 55 GW will be in China, the GEM data showed.’

No need for the last person to leave Britain to turn off the lights….the Mad Monk will have done that for you.

      https://www.powermag.com/coal-continues-to-lead-chinas-record-levels-of-power-generation/

You can see from the graphs that fossil fuels still account for at least the same generating capacity as ever if not increasing and is predicted to carry on until at least 2040…..what the BBC misses out is that electricity generation overall has increased massively in China and thus percentages of how that is generated change but that is deceptive…..China is still pumping out as much CO2 as ever.

Wayback when Britain was Great there was a man they called ‘Chinese Gordon’…better known perhaps today as ‘Gordon of Khartoum’. Chinese Gordon was so-called because of a brilliant military campaign that defeated, against great odds, a savage rebel army in China that inflicted great suffering upon the population. He liberated those people and was thence celebrated.
He went on later in Sudan to try and end the slavery that existed there and in the end died defending to the death Khartoum against an insurgent Islamist army.

And then there’s Chinese Keir who surrenders everything to a beligerent China without a fight and submits to the Islamist ‘warlords’ at home.

All backed by his reliably tame pet media mouthpiece.
