‘“I am concerned to hear of the incident at Manchester Central Mosque last night,” Starmer said on social media, adding “this will be worrying for Muslim communities, especially during Ramazan”.

“We will not and must not relent in the fight against anti-Muslim hatred,” the prime minister told MPs later.’

The BBC curiously uninformative and lacking in curiousity as it fails to even mention the Muslim second man in one report and only briefly mentions ‘a man’ in the other.

This was hyped by politicians and the media as a near miss terror attack…the message we were meant to get was that it was Reform’s campaigning and language that had stirred up hate and division and provoked this, er, ‘attack’.

      What is the Nudge Unit?
The Nudge Unit was established in the Cabinet Office in 2010 by David Cameron’s government to apply behavioural science to public policy. Now owned partly by the Cabinet Office, by Nesta and by employees, it has operations across the world.

Its chief executive is Dr David Halpern, former director of research at the Institute for Government, who is also the government’s What Works national adviser.

      Why ‘nudge’?
It is called ‘nudge’ after the book by Richard Thaler (who went on to win the Nobel prize in economics) and Cass Sunstein which set out how people are not the rational economic actors beloved of conventional economic theory – but can be influenced by “choice architecture” into making better choices in their own interests.

      What are nudges?
Nudges mean thinking harder about the way people approach decisions and using those insights to design policy. In 2010, the Institute for Government set out some of those approaches in its MINDSPACE report, which suggests that both the messenger and the message were important and that defaults mattered. It remains the Institute’s most downloaded report.

The approach depends a lot on experimentation, and the Nudge Unit has championed wider use of experiments in government.

Where’s the outrage from the BBC? Don’t think they have even reported this….maybe because it’s all in such a good cause…the nut zero dictatorship.

        From the Telegraph…

‘Millions of electric car drivers in Britain were spied on by the government through their mobile phones as part of a “bizarre nanny state” plan, it can be revealed.

Customers of O2, as well as other operators including Tesco Mobile, were monitored on the government’s behalf if their mobile internet history and app records showed they visited a site related to electric vehicles (EVs) once a month on at least two occasions.

Department for Transport officials commissioned O2 to spy on 25 million devices as part of a £600,000 study intended to produce a “comprehensive evaluation and understanding of the uptake and usage of electric vehicles”.

O2 trawled through the web browsing history of its own customers, and those of other networks that “piggyback” on its infrastructure, to identify EV owners. These other networks included Tesco Mobile, GiffGaff and Virgin Mobile.
At the DfT’s request, O2 trawled people’s web browsing habits, including those of children, to identify “EV users”. This included passengers as well as drivers.

It then tracked those people’s physical movements around the country and sent “anonymised and aggregated” data to the government.’

‘Shut down Iran propaganda machine operating in Britain, Starmer told ‘
‘A group of Labour MPs have warned of a web of organisations that “appear to be actively promoting the Iranian regime’s ideology and interests”.’

Hmmmm…surely they can’t mean the BBC which has always been way way too onside for Iran?

Even now, after tens of thousands of protestors were slaughtered, the BBC shills for Iran…not least of course Jeremy Bowen whose first paragraph drips with hate for Trump and Israel…

‘Bowen: A dangerous moment, but US and Israel see opportunity not to be missed’
‘The decision by the United States and Israel to plunge into a new war with Iran creates a highly dangerous moment with unpredictable consequences. Israel used the word “pre-emptive” to justify its attack.

The evidence is that this is not a response to an imminent threat, which the word pre-emption implies. Instead, it is a war of choice.

It is also another blow to the tottering system of international law. ‘

Very carefully chosen language and messaging against the strikes.

The BBC always looking for the negative, and not forgetting the Iranian[ala Hamas] propaganda about ‘casualties’….

‘Iran retaliation raises questions about US air defences’

‘Iran says US and Israel strikes hit school killing 108’

Today’s BBC would have shilled for the Nazis…reporting on what it would portray as Allied ‘warcrimes’ as they bombed Germany.

Just what the BBC was hoping for : a chance to churn out fake empathy for people they don’t actually give a shit about. Children are their favourite ‘victims’ because nobody dare criticise them for it.

But even the BBC smell a rat for this one. They probably had to look hard to find the right activist who is ‘on-narrative’ for this one. We get:

‘An Iranian living abroad who opposes military intervention in Iran commented: “The first victims of this war are 40 girls in Minab, hit by a missile attack. Is this the war you cheer for?”‘

40 ?. It was 108 at the top. And note how they have picked an anonymous activist to present the lie. This newish trick (perfected in Gaza) allows the BBC to publish anything they want and just say someone else said it.

But the signs that the BBC know this is a fake article (but gave it top billing anyway) are there. They wheel out BBC verify to make us think it’s all true – but this is all they say:

‘The BBC has verified clips of the aftermath of the explosion, which show smoke rising from a building as crowds gather nearby and people can be heard screaming in panic.’

WTF does that mean ?. Verified what ?. That there is a clip ?. I’ll presume it’s this one –

I would have thought the great ‘BBC Verify’ could tell us a bit more than that. Where are the bodies ?. Where are the ambulances ?. Where are the people who are screaming ?.

And this is the picture we are shown.
      8fad6fc0-14f4-11f1-aec6-05623088f9a7.jpg.webp
Again – WTF is going on there ?.
We have one man putting one bit of rubble in a bin for some reason (to make it look like they are clearing the sire I presume) but he’s nowhere near where you would be digging.
And everybody is just standing there. Again where are the bodies ?. Where are the vehicles to take anyone dug out to hospital ?.

I call this story propaganda BS. And the BBC know it. But they ran it anyway because they never met a brown ‘victim’ of whitey that they didn’t like.

    Incendiary (emergency?) edition

The ever-excitable Mail ‘Exclusively’ exclaims: Amid mounting allegations that voter fraud and sectarianism contributed to the Green Party’s shock win, Mr Farage makes the incendiary assertion in today’s Mail on Sunday that ‘Reform UK won the Gorton and Denton by-election among British-born voters’ – far from being an incendiary assertion, as the Mail’s Glen Owen (Political editor) would have it, I’m certain this is a scientific psephological truth.

Although, on the other hand, if England hadn’t been subjected to a couple of decades of hyper-immigration, there likely wouldn’t be a Reform UK party leading in the national polls and in a position to be edged into second place by the immigrant vote in the Galton & Simpson… sorry, the Gorton & Denton, by-election.

Gung-ho as ever – probably wishing Starmer had rolled our last remaining dusty old Spitfire out of a museum to join the Yanks in targeting Putin instead: Row as PM fails to let US forces use British airbases (Dominic Hauschild, Sunday Times)

The prime minister said: ‘The United Kingdom played no role in these strikes…’ (Times) – even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

Let me explain: first to the Russophobes… the retaliation – rather than local, random and a bit rubbish: Iran suicide drone smashes into skyscraper in Bahrain (Sunday Express) – would be ballistic, nuclear and against Britain. Just as an example – Birmingham wouldn’t be worrying anymore about that little matter of their bin strike.

As for anyone keen for Britain to add our (literal) two penn’orth to the: U.S. and Israel attack on Iran (Sunday Mirror) – there’s a clue in Nigel’s statement in the Mail

The Telegraph explains further: Pro-Iran protesters march in London… Hundreds gather in Parliament Square for demonstration featuring banners of Ayatollah. Supporters of the Iranian government flew the flag of the Ayatollahs in central London on Saturday in protest at American and Israeli air strikes. Hundreds of pro-regime activists gathered in Parliament Square to condemn the bombing of Tehran and other Iranian targets. – these protests of course hint at likely more ‘kinetic’ protests against British and Jewish targets here in the UK – and as sure as night follows day we’re going to find ourselves with elevated ‘you know what’ threat levels – and that’s even without us having joined in the attack on Iran.

The Observer front page looks like a Palestine protest home made arts student placard collage this morning. Check it out and tell me they’re not whipping the emotions of our Tristans and Tabithas, the Muhammads and Abdullahs.

Our BBC comments: The Observer has gone with a wrap around front and back page that carries eight images showing scenes of destruction in the aftermath of the US and Israeli strikes, and a headline: “Killing of the Ayatollah”.

We’re firmly in one story territory mainstream front page-wise again today. Wot no Andrew?

We’ll have to make do with: Royal Ascot snub for Beatrice and Eugenie (Mail)

Sunday Telegraph disappoints with: Matt is inside – no, he’s not been arrested (at least he’s not ‘away’)

Sunday Times teases with: Funday Times 12 pages of cartoons and fun special edition – but that’s beyond our remit. However, their in-house pictorial jokester Newman (oft criticised for his lame leftism hereabouts) gets a cover page spot and deserves kudos for making light of it all with his sketch of two joggers plugged into their cell phones: “Oh no! I’m being bombarded with emergency podcasts!”

The West is literally insane as it actively promotes its own ‘civilisational suicide’ as it holds open the door for the Islamic boot that will grind it into dust….and of course they all want to deny it is happening until one day you wake up and it’s there…in fact it’s here already as Starmer shapes his foreign policy to suit the Isamist voter in this country and refuses to help take out the Islamist murderers in Iran….

‘The Prime Minister’s statement highlighted that Britain had “played no role in these strikes” and bleated about “de-escalation”. True, he condemned the Iranian regime as “utterly abhorrent”. But he has used far stronger language before, about Elon Musk’s Grok, say, or the riots in Southport.’

In the 70’s in Iran the Left teamed up with the Islamists to depose the Shah only to find themselves deposed alongside him and consigned to irrelevance as the Islamist terror regime took control….and only recently slaughtered tens of thousands of its own people in the streets.

But why learn from history as the far-left greens team up with the Islamists in this country? The BBC of course shows absolutely no concern…they have always backed Iran and will no doubt welcome a similar theocratic dictatorship here….careful not to be around when the gays and trans swing from cranes…or are thrown off buildings as the BBC’s other favourite terrorist group is prone to do.

The BBC is keen not to report the Green’s extremist policies….three long reports and…nothing….just as they tried to bury Corbyn’s radicalism and extremist policies…

Rather than call Polanski a dangerous extremist as they are wont to do with the likes of Farage they praise him and hype him….note it’s not ‘far-left’…

‘ sweary bluntness and brash left-wingery…Perhaps a punchily-delivered message can deepen their support in some places.’

The Centre for Countering Digital Hate in fact promotes hate and creates divisions that cause people to eschew the ways in which differences in society were negotiated – democracy, reason, debate. And now its Labour-aligned founder finds himself on the receiving end of the state power he wanted governments to use to close down political opposition. If he had debated his opponents rather than smeared them in extremely low quality, fear-mongering and bullshit conspiracy-theorising reports about them to get them criminalised, perhaps he and his family would be enjoying greater freedom. The Trump administration are probably right to tell him to FO out of the USA. How can he complain?

Through research, we expose the producers and spreaders of online harms, and demonstrate the offline consequences.
Through campaigns, we galvanize support from the public and advertisers to pressure social media companies and tech platforms to reform.
Through communications, we shape the debate to educate the public and key stakeholders about online harms.
Through policy and partnerships, we persuade policymakers and collaborate with civil society leaders to demand reform of social media.”

I think we can safely say that it’s already ‘Critical’ – we already have the foreigners dictating to our useless ‘admin dept’ and Plod, about how many Nothern towns and cities, and also London now, should be run, and with the increasing influx of fighting age illegals, ‘the near future’ is already upon us.

I think, in the villages, our small outside towns, there will be some dilution of any of this unwelcome interference, but as far as places like Bradford, Rotherham – and also London, are concerned, we’ve already started the battle.

Starmer really has buggered this once-proud country for good now – the buffoon NutNutShagger started the recent rot, which continued the ridiculous three or four ‘admins’ before that, so I guess that again, it’s all down to Blair, who somehow seems very, very quiet these days…

I love seeing and hearing Isabel Oakeshott…

She just reflects the true British psyche, without the shriekings of a Maitless, a nasty Campbell, an idiot – what’s his surname Rory something, twonks like Packham – or any of the ‘take your pick’ far-left beeboids, we just get the facts with Isabel, and understand the reflected intensity of the despair that Normal British Citizens have to cope wih under this utterly useless ‘admin dept’.

A lovely friend, who developed a large construction business over here, was asked to move to Dubai, so do the same there! By coincidence, she’s a spitting image of Isabel, and I’m sorry to say, that we’ve lost touch, but even back twenty years, the place was ready to move forward at a pace, unlike here, where socialism is now, inevitably, rotting the old country…

The BBC reports on the ramblings of ‘Dame’ Priti Patel about the regime change effort in a far away country of which we know little (and care even less – we have our own house to put in order). The chutzpah of these people is beyond parody:

‘Dame’ Priti offered to help fast track any legislation to take action against Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

She means that the IRGC, which is free to operate in Britain, should be a proscribed organisation. That is the prerogative of the Home Secretary to make it happen. Remind me, who was Home Secretary for 3 years during the previous government? Why, that would be Priti Patel of course…

“He was not quite a dictator, even though he had put himself in the middle of a complex web of competing power centres, able to veto any matter of public policy and hand pick candidates for public office.”

Most of the article is a rewrite of the mad Ali’s Wikipedia page in content and structure. The register of the piece remained me of North Korea when they talk about their Dear Leader. The BBC have almost written it as a hagiography (a biography that makes the subject prophet-like).

I have cognitive dissonance with the attack on Iran. Yes, the regime is barbaric and medieval, but at least they didn’t have to endure feminism and the destruction of their culture.

I haven’t seen much speculation on how Iran pans out . Will an alternative ( sane civilised government) be formed ? Or will some ayatollah pop up with exactly the same regime as the one being deconstructed ?

Will the US / Israel have to put soldiers on the ground ? Something I guess neither would want to do . Will The People rise up ( again ) ? I ask because I don’t know and wonder .

I mean – what is the timescale for putting Iran back on the track of civilisation again ?

The current regime seems demented in firing missiles at its’ neighbours . What does it aim to achieve – apart from being the overt enemy of every one ?

Does the US aim to put the Shah back in place again ? Is it practical or would the Iranian military keep fighting ?
