I see that the despicable bunch of marxists are trying to arrange a household tax to replace the licence fee that is becoming so unpopular. What they need to do is treat the people that are not buying a licence fee as a symptom, then ask the question ‘what is the cause’. One thing for sure is that the current Government have the majority to force through whatever financing package they wish to impose. If it is a household tax then Reform and the Conservatives have to put its repeal into their manifestos.

CO2 Capture and storage. I thought, probably along with many on here, that CO2 capture and storage was an unrealised and unproven technology and largely a wet dream fantasy of Millibrain and Green activists. Think again, CO2 storage projects are being actively built right now, at huge cost.
One project I know of is the Peak array which pipes CO2 from cement works in the Peak district all the way for 139 miles to the Wirral to be piped out to an old gas field in Liverpool Bay and pumped down the well. There is a large amount of CO2 processing infrastructure at both ends as well as the pipeline. The BBC mentions a cost of £60m, pull the other one I say. You couldn’t think of a finer way of increasing the cost of cement and hence construction costs of housing etc. There will obviously be a large taxpayer subsidy.

The pipes will no doubt be made from Chinese steel which being of variable quality is then likely to corrode and leak sooner. Homes near to the pipeline best get CO2 detectors!
In the US I hear people talking of ‘tax payer dollars’ when referring say to the misappropriation of money to, for example, the Somalis in Minnesota. I try to use ‘tax payer pounds’ when talking to people about ‘free’ breakfast clubs or the enormous cost of net zero. Over the past decade we have become used to the effect of TDS on the human mind. We have seen sensible and fair commentators such as Andrew Neil lose their objective thinking and descend into OrangeMan bad speak. Or Janet Daly in the Telegraph write nothing but columns dripping with invective against Trump regardless of the topic she is supposed to be writing about.
But the Iran war is taking TDS brain scrambling to new heights and sees sufferers pleading for clemency for a regime which presided over spreading terror and death for fifty years. The regime has been responsible for millions of deaths and yet many in the commentariat simply can’t bring themselves to admit that President Trump is pursuing a just cause on behalf of the entire West.
Many TDS sufferers are urging negotiations when the evil regime is tottering. To my mind because they fear a Trump victory more than they do leaving the evil regime intact. Such people should not be allowed to wield weapons as powerful as pens .
I am fascinated by TDS. I can only think there is subliminal as well as overt messaging on main stream media. Maybe photos of Trump dressed as the devil, eating babies, or anti Trump messaging very briefly flashed into BBC News, The Repair Shop or Bridgerton. It is the only explanation why right wing friends send very antiTrump jokes to me on Whattsap or throw away lines attacking Trump when talking about the weather or something else totally unrelated. I don’t react to the Whattsap messages but in conversation point out that over half of Americans could see in Trump more than the BBC allows us to see.
Much of the TDS is diversionary, to keep prying eyes well away from the utter disgrace of the Clinton and Obama years.
It seems only recently, that some pretty weird and really nasty files and further revelations on these people have surfaced after quite some time, and if rabid commentators on the left insist on bashing TDS into everyone’s head, it doesn’t seem illogical that the alternative news may just be the truth. The awful, far-left bBC is continually doing this, and there must be more than their marxist ‘state funded misinformation’, lurking in the background…

A relative of mine is a football nut who was going to go to World Cup in the summer but told me that he has cancelled and lost his £500 deposit. I assumed that it was because of the problems in Mexico where some of the games are to be played but no , when I asked he said it was because of Trump !!
Now as well being a football nut he is a retired GP who has also been a vociferous Labour supporter ( the two often go hand in hand ) but even allowing for left wing lunacy to cancel and lose £500 because the President is someone you don’t like is bonkers. Watching it and the explosion is very small for a supposed Tomahawk missile….there seems to be no actual explosion just an unusual and very narrow smoke plume that rises straight up rather than spreading out as you might expect……was it AI or GI generated?
The likelihood is that the US did hit the school by accident….but this video is not gold-plated cast-iron proof of that but that won’t stop the BBC as they push and ush this story in order to try and change the American Public’s view on the war…..Zurcher admitted as much this morning claiming that the majority of Americans are now against the war and that this strike on the school ‘plays a large part in that’.
The BBC focusing so much on the school being hit is deliberate and political and intended to stop the war by turning voters against Trump….how unusual for the BBC of course.
