    Deep joy…..BBC loading the airwaves earlier today with accusations claiming that the US bombed the school in Iran….The Nagger spent a good while telling us all about it, wheeling in experts to ‘confirm’ it was a US missile that did the damage. This was all in the lead up to a briefing by Hegseth about the campaign….the BBC in full expectation that he and Trump would be skewered by the journalists asking about the school.

    And….almost total silence…not a single question about the school…just one asking how US forces were minimising civilian casualties…which is a different question altogether. I guess not everyone is obsessed with this one, unfortunate, but not unusual aspect of war. Just why is this the BBC’s main take on the war?

    I imagine there was a great shuffling of the schedule as the planned narrative was dumped….funnily enough suddenly there was no mention of the school on the BBC for quite some time.

    The BBC has been hyping the casualties at the school in Iran for some time….the casualty figures provided by Iran and the video that ‘proves’ it also from the Iranian regime. Not as if the Regime isn’t well known for producing fake videos and fake stories…for instance telling us they have wiped out all US forces in the area.

    Curiously the BBC never spent anywhere near the same time on perhaps 40,000 people deliberately killed by the regime and probably countless others thrown in jail and likely tortured. Surely 40,000 people being deliberately killed is a ‘genocide’? Where is the outrage, where are the protestors on our streets, where is the UN investigation?

    The destroyed school is, or the BBC hopes to make it, highly political…Trump murdering innocent young school children…the BBC intends that this turns America against the war on the Iranian regime….you could say the BBC is knowingly peddling Iranian propaganda…just because Trump is in charge…my enemy’s enemy and all that….not as if they haven’t done it before as they worked in collusion with Putin to promote the dodgy dossier hoax…even BBC journalists admitted it looked too dodgy to touch from the start until Buzzfeed took the fall and started the feeding frenzy….the BBC given cover to claim they were merely reporting what was happening rather than being the instigator pushing dangerous Russian propaganda.

    The BBC is a useful idiot…just say you hate Trump and they will give you a good write up autocratic, murderous regime or not.

      I bet they’re too scared to go anywhere near the schools in Rotherham, Bradford and other dumps up north, doing a bit of ‘verifying’ about the rape gangs?

      As their instructions from Mohammed Strasse, not to pry further than copy stuff from The Mirror, or The Sun, it would be cheaper for them to report on the evil hordes of foul, disgusting men, hurting British Children!

      But no, the expenses beeboids can charge for trying to ‘do one’ on President Trump beats all, and it takes real journalists to do the work of uncovering these vile beasts in the shitholes they’ve created with their unpleasant families and creeds and religions.

    The BBC caught using Propaganda to Radically Alter a Statement about Iran by the US Secretary of War.

    The BBC has been caught yet again manipulating comments from the Trump administration to produce ‘Fake News’. During a March 2 press conference about the war in Iran, US Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, said that the United States is bringing death to the same regime that chanted “death to America and death to Israel.” However, the BBC substituted the word ‘people’ for ‘regime’ – fundamentally changing Hegseth’s meaning to sound like America was targeting ‘ALL’ Iranians. The BBC translated the word “regime” as “mardom,” the Persian word for “people.” The BBC’s fake news drew condemnation from Iranians online, who accused the BBC of conflating ordinary civilians with the brutality of the regime.

    Eilam-Gindin said this incident reinforces what the Iranian diaspora in the West perceive as a long-standing pro-regime editorial line at the BBC.

      UK fuel duty is a tax included in the price of petrol and diesel, currently frozen at 52.95 pence per litre (plus 20% VAT) for standard fuel. This rate includes a 5p reduction, extended until early 2026-27. It is a major revenue source, generating roughly £24-£25 billion annually for public services.

      General description of the measure
      This measure extends the temporary 5 pence per litre (ppl) cut in the rates of fuel duty, first introduced at Spring Statement in March 2022, until the end of August 2026, avoiding a 5 ppl increase in March 2026 when the cut was due to expire.

      The main fuel duty rates will be increased by:

      1 ppl on 1 September 2026
      2 ppl on 1 December 2026
      2 ppl on 1 March 2027

    Time for a new thread – difficult to keep up with ‘events ‘ – as I understand it MPs have agreed to restrict jury trial – just like that – no Royal Commision – no pilot project – just done … but the aim to stop under 16s from accessing the internet failed ? Really ?

    It looks like the Iranian war is really going to focus on getting oil out of the strait of Hormuz . The DT says that Iran has as many as 6000 mines – provided by china and Russia – which has a touch of irony about it because china depends a lot on Middle East oil and Russia benefits from higher oil prices ..

    The US says it has already escorted a tanker through the strait .. let’s hope there are a lot more …
