    Defund the BBC indeed! Fed, the BBC are beyond the pale – they should be put down. The BBC waste is excessive, on recruitment and on salaries. The BBC reneged on their commitment to keep iPlayer way back in 2016. The BBC should be closed down. The BBC Licence Fee is excessive – and there are alternatives to the LF. The TellyTax Inspectors have no enthusiasm for the job. They have failed to visit me. I am still waiting for the visit they promised me way back before Christmas 2025! Close the BBC! The BBC has Trump Derangement Syndrome to excess. The BBC also are anti-Israel, anti-Reform and anti-Nigel Farage while being pro-Labour and pro-TTK.

    Thanks for the view up2… the short term looks ‘ok’ for the BBC – but I hope that whoever gets power in 2029 makes the sort of effort of dealing with the BBC that Mrs thatcher failed to do …

    The mistake was that there were more important issues – but the BBC is a major anti British parasite

    I know the BBC are wanting funding adding to general taxation. As I never watch the BBC I want to easily be able to opt out. I still want to watch channels such as GBNews and perhaps Amazon Prime when Clarkson is struggling with his farm but the BBC? Never. And I don’t see why I should pay for it (or pay for others to watch it either).
