THE COALITION ISN’T WORKING!

Had to laugh at the BBC’s promotion of the idea that the “economic recovery” (?) of the last six months is being put in peril by the wicked plans of the Coalition that the State sector should live within it’s means. Yes, the good work of Labour is being undone by nasty Mr Cameron. Economic realities are never mentioned – the crunch issue for the BBC is that the Conservatives are going to preside over rising unemployment and therefore all guns will be trained on them. Is it too late to bring back Ben Elton? The BBC appears unaware or disinterested in the simple fact that Labour allowed the State sector to grow to unaffordable and elephantine proportions and corrective action is both timely and necessary. The narrative is going to be simple one – Voting Conservative costs jobs and the BBC will be the fore in assiduously promoting this in the time ahead.

GOVE JIHAD

Isn’t it REMARKABLE to see the BBC keeping the non-story concerning administrative errors in a list published by Education Secretary Michael Gove’s Department running, trying to suggest this could be a resigning matter and might be the first split in the Coalition. Like rabid dogs, the BBC shows no logic on this but instead chooses to use it to try and hurt Gove and the Coalition. The BBC is trying to create the fiction that Gove himself has clumsily made serial errors of such a scale that were he honourable, he would resign. It’s much ado about nothing but through the malign prism of the BBC, this is a chance to undermine the Government and THAT is the real agenda in play here. I could understand this if the BBC was choosing to point out the incompetency within the Civil Service but that is somehow not mentioned. It’s Gove Jihad and it is truly pathetic.

3 LIONS ON A SHIRT…

Well, football may not be coming home after all these years of hurt but a humiliated English team IS! I was amazed to hear on the BBC Today programme this morning that the “weak coalition government” is to blame, it was just before 8am but can’t find the link!

PROTECTING INCOMPETENCY

I had the misfortune to watch the BBC Breakfast news programme this morning and caught an interview with Michael Gove on the new policy to try and introduce some freedom into our Education system. What struck me was the BBC’s obsession that if this policy is implemented, it could means that “big business” might get rid of some teachers. Reading between the lines, it is the prospects of poor-performing teachers that most concerns the BBC. I thought Gove did well but it was clear the BBC does not accept the premise that freedom from bureaucracy for schools is a good idea and I am certain this will become part of the anti-coalition narrative.
