The BBC’s reporting of the latest bank scandal concerning Barclays, probably only the first bank in the firing line, misses out a major question and uses language that is immoderate and unusual for the BBC.   The BBC is freely using ‘lied’ or ‘liars’ in relation to how Barclays carried out its business.
