Backing up DB’s revelations about Matt Danzico – one of the BBC’s new recruits to its heavily biased Washington outfit -, which showed that he’s a strong Democrat supporter who campaigned for Obama in 2008, here’s some footage which might suggest why the BBC’s coverage of American politics doesn’t seem entirely impartial (despite Helen Boaden).

Unbelievable…well, no, it’s not is it. As David writes, no doubt this played a large part in his recruitment (only as it showed his TV/video and speaking skills…ahem)
It shows Danzico’s familiarity with the interwebs, social networking, etc., and communication skills. Even better, it demonstrates quite clearly that he comes with some BBC attitudes already installed: believing that other people must pay his way, and supporting The Obamessiah.
You mean the BBC is recruiting Obama apparatchiks ? I really find that hard to believe, Craig. They would never dream of diverging from Ms Boaden’s balance-in-their-genes ! Maybe he’s a mutation.
I see Ms Boaden is being tipped as a candidate for the next Director General. She’s a crying disgrace – but has just been promoted to the Management Board.
