Stranger than Fiction

: never let it be set that the BBC headlines all news from Iraq negatively. Yesterday’s CEEFAX headline

Baghdad morgue dead rise again

suggested very positive if extremely surprising news from that quarter. Sadly, the article made it plain that only this month’s count had risen, not the dead themselves, so that morgue staff were ‘worried about their ability to cope’, making it a very unsurprising minor example of the BBC’s eagerness to squeeze every last drop of worry from the situation.

Almost as good as this gem from BBC Solent (no relation)a couple of years ago:
“Local companies are being accused of dragging their heels over disabled access…”

    Well O/T

Here’s an opportunity from the BBC that’s just too good to refuse:

Over the coming months, we want to hear your stories of life abroad and what it means to you.

The number of British people hoping to emigrate in the near future has almost doubled in three years, a BBC poll suggests. Young people were said to be the most likely to want to leave, with a quarter saying they were hoping to live abroad.

Government figures indicate there could be up to 14m Britons overseas • but only knows for sure about 4.5m of them. Are you thinking of emigrating from the UK? Or are you already living overseas? What has been the main reason behind your decision to move abroad? Send us your comments and experiences.

Brave Palestinian Terrorists use children as human shields

No doubt the BBC will be the last to report on this…and then that will be their final SHAME!!!!

Come on BBC, once again, people with home computers are beating your 3 Billion a year operation……

Evident proof that the BBC is obsolete and no longer needed…….

  5. Anonymous says:

Spread that link around….but tell people there is no gore, they might be affraid to view otherwise…..

And there IS no gore….just evident PROOF that the Muslim “fighters” are using children as shields….

I fea weak minded liberals and fascists will be too afraid to even face their own horror…I mean, how would you feel if you thought you were “the good guys”…then you see your “side” doinf this… kids…….

Spread the link…far and wide……….lets see how long it takes the BBC to wake up…….

It is good to see that there are some people out there who are not so filled with hate that they can read the signs accurately.

It appears to me that there is a blind that comes down over some people when they are faced with a truth that doesn’t fit in with their ‘holy than thou’ attitude.

Well done on a site that exposes the direction of the BBC. Especially when the BBC should no other direction than the truth.

  7. AntiCitizenOne says:

    Robin Bather,

I can’t tell from the BBC, but was it a Christian fundamentalist terrorist plot to murder travelers in planes over the Atlantic?

  8. dave t says:

Can’t have been the “God Wills It!” crowd…otherwise the Beeb would have dragged Pat Robertson, Intelligent Design and the seige of Jerusalem into the story whilst at the same time letting chaps called Bibal Patel rant on HYS about the nasty people…..

  9. Matt says:

What amazes me about the “human shields” video is the fact that the BBC are so quick to sieze on anything whatsoever that puts our guys in a bad light (anyone remember the Durka Durka song?). But when something like this comes along it doesn’t even get a mention.

Maybe they just assume that most people know that terrorists behave this way and therefore it’s not deemed newsworthy.

Now that IDF ground troops are in Lebanon I expect to see a lot more of this kind of footage. But not, I suspect, on the BBC.

  10. Matt says:

Oh and I’d love to hear how “Gorgeous George” justifies this kind of behaviour from his beloved Palestinian freedom fighters.

Finally, some journalists come face-to-face with Hizbu’llah…

I think the BBC has really lost out in this conflict……

I was worried in the begining that the BBC was getting the upper hand in propaganda…but now I realise, they are being shown up all over the world for the waste of space they are………

I hope they don’t show this shcoking video for a few more days yet…that way, it is so much easier to proove just how utterly biased they are in favour of Hezzbola and Islamic Fascism……

Quick to shout out Islamic propaganda on a whim….yet BURRYING news that shows them in a bad light…….

It’s SO OBVIOUS it is embarassing for the BBC…..they must feel like total idiots…..

The BBC supports kids being used as Human Shields…simple as that…..

I don’t know if I could live with the shame of working for the BBC…they all seem to comply, no decenting voices, so I geuss they think it’s ok…….

This conflict has killed what little shred of credibility the BBC had…now media all over the world, are waking up to what a steaming pile of vile shite it is……

And it could’nt have happened to a nicer bunch……

If Britain was not involved in this terrobiel Iraqi quagmire, then our soldiers would be facing attacks from the living dead.

Shame on Blair for for bringing the wrath of zombie’s upon us.

c4 news – ABC in the states is reporting that the British police are looking for 5 suspects. this in spite of John Reid saying that the “major players” have been arrested.

  17. Skepto says:

    Off Topic:
I’ve had 5 Live on all afternoon (you don’t need a ‘licence’ for that). One might expect a variety of views from callers and emailers re the airline plot, but the public has not been given much of a look-in at all, and the few that get broadcast seem to be from those claiming there was probably no plot, and its all a Bush/Blair fabrication. Wonder if they were all Muslims?

  18. archduke says:

c4 news – breaking – Pakistani police have made arrests, linked to today’s airline plot.

  19. archduke says:

“I’ve had 5 Live on all afternoon
Wonder if they were all Muslims?”

what are non-jihadists doing during the afternoon?

hmm.. working for a living, i would guess.

  21. dumbcisco says:

A senior US TV reporter confirms there is staging going on in Lebanon.

No sign of any realisation at the BBC that John Simpson was one of the people caught up in the deception, being filmed with Green Helmet Man. Their World Affairs Editor, no less.

How come no-one in the huge organisation raised any queries. Is it the Gilligan syndrome – they believe what they want to believe, what fits their agenda ?

    Holy Shit…..

3000 Views in 2 hours… tomorrow, this will be all over the world……

    here is the link again

Time to clean up our corrupted media….liars that they are.

And lets be clear…they are as gulity as those who defile the bodies of dead children for “Ratings” and Fascist Propaganda.

    Long Live the Interent.

  23. Anat says:

The BBC has today discovered the reason for American stand in the conflict. It is not the world-wide evidence of the Jihad, it is not the fact that Israel has been repeatedly attacked including at the beginning of the present round. No, IT’S THE JOOOOISH LOBBY!

I live in Haifa. I watch BBC World daily and read their website. By the balance of reports, on the Israeli side they show mostly soldiers and on the Lebanese side mostly civilians. No combatants in Lebanon, apparenatly; though there remains the minor question of who has been lopping missiles at me for a month now.
