AN ARRESTING HEADLINE.

Did you spot that the BBC “has learned” that there has been
a dramatic increase in the number of employers being prosecuted for hiring illegal immigrants? Now then, I’m all in favour of ensuring that those who are illegally residing in the UK be booted out pronto so I am naturally delighted to hear this news. However I was wondering if the BBC’s sudden enthusiasm for this new “get tough” prosecution of employers who flout the law and employ illegals extends as far as the Home Office which itself cleared 5,000 illegal immigrants for employment? I wonder will Al-Beeb’s highly trained and highly paid investigators be checking to see to which officials and Ministers are prosecuted, if not sacked, for their flagrant contempt for the law? Or is it just the private sector that gets the prosecutions?

    I saw the report on Views24 this afternoon. Call my cynical but I got the feeling that the advertising of “populist” government action and the re-re-launch of the Labour “fight back” is not co-incidental.

    Presumably the word has been passed out from the Brown (trousers) Bunker – we must get the message across that “we have heard the British public”. The only message that I got was that for the last 11 years they clearly haven’t given a f**k about illegal immigration with only 70 or so prosecutions….

    The BBC should realise that the public are now experts at detecting when they are being manipulated – it’s an all new skill that has evolved as an essential survival attribute. It has emerged as a result of years of shifting through the mountainous piles of spun shite (of ‘unknown origin’) served up as fact by the BBC

    This Labour Government has spun, and continues to spin, a massive deception on its MASS IMMIGRATION ‘policy’ since 1997. (The BBC has done a poor educational job of shining a light on this deception.)

    “Never have we seen immigration on this scale: we just can’t cope”

    (Prof. Robert Rowthorn)

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jhtml?xml=/opinion/2006/07/02/do0202.xml

    Despite its recent, inadequate mention of a ‘points’ system for immigrants, the fact is that this Labour Government, with NO MANIFESTO MANDATE, has set in place a continuing ‘policy’ of uncontrollable immigration, which Labour vows to increase by millions more, with e.g. one million or more Muslim immigrants, from Turkey which Brown, Miliband, Murphy are strongly propagandising for.

    Brown: ‘Labour will listen more to the British people’ AND GO AGAINST THEM BY INCREASING MASS IMMIGRATION AND THEREBY INCREASE SOCIAL UNREST, CULTURAL CONFLICT, AND THE SHIFT OF POWER, WITH NO REFERENDUM ALLOWED, TO BRUSSELS.

    If you superimpose an electoral map of London (showing where Labour held on to GLA seats) over a map of London showing the areas of substantial non-EU immigrant settlement, I suspect you will find a remarkable congruence. Also, a surge in immigrant settlement in Slough has been followed by the single Labour electoral highlight in SE England. Whatever BBC publicity gives to government claims to be doing something about naughty employers, I think we can take it that the government’s laxness on immigration will continue.

    classic nu labour trick – implement a crackpot policy (open borders) , then be seen to be doing “something about it” (cracking down on illegals)

    in effect claiming “credit” for fixing something that was their own fuckup in the first place.

    utterly comtemptible.

    Classic spin.

    “The BBC has learnt that” followed by film of police raid on employers.

    Sorry the BBC was told by HMG and invited along.

    Chase up employers who don’t have machines to read passports but don’t do anything about preventing them getting into the counctry in the first place. Would this be the same police, who when they stop a bunch of illegals walking along the motorway give them instructions on how to get to Lunar House in Croydon?

    It’s Labour/BBC spin trying to repair the damage of Labour’s election mauling. This is day one of the 2 year long media operation to revive Labour. Expect more stories like this. The aim is to make it look like Labour are going to start listening and do something about immigration. The reality is that they won’t listen, never have and never will. They support Turkey’s entry to the EU.

    Wonder why you linked to Personnel Today (which is an HR website) and not to the BBC. Perhaps you wanted to create the impression, that this has been only reported in the specialist and not the main stream media? Who knows.

    For what it’s worth, here is the BBC’s reporting on it:

    How revealing that Al-Beeb can actually bring itself to use the words “illegal immigrants”. Contrast that with its refusal to call a terrorist just that.

    My guess is that there are seismic shifts now underway within Al-Beeb as it starts to realise that the tipping point has been reached, and that the British people will no longer swallow their lies.

  21. George R says:

    Brown and Labour are still ignoring the British people with its ‘policy’, not mentioned in its Manifestos since 1997, of UNCONTROLLED, MASS IMMIGRATION.

    This latest Labour superficiality is tinkering with the huge economic, social and cultural problems which it has created by its stealth mass immigration strategy over the past 11 years, as this demonstrates:

    “New immigration rules announced”

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7384801.stm

    Brown not only rejects the views of the British voters on mass immigration, he rejected the views of the House of Lords report:

    “Limit immigration, warns House of Lords”

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1583500/Limit-immigration%2C-warns-House-of-Lords.html

    What this proposed Labour tinkering misses about mass immigration:

    1.)it does nothing about the millions of ‘pointless’ immigrants allowed in by Labour to date;

    2.) it will do nothing about illegal immigrants in UK;

    3.) it will not deter Labour from its ‘multiculturalist’ priorities;

    4.) it will not deter Brown, Miliband and Murphy from their publicly stated commitment of bringing in 80 million Muslim Turks, 1 million of whom (or more) will reside in UK, most in London;

    5.)Labour will continue, by European Union rules, to be obliged to take as many new EU immigrants as want to come to UK to reside; no points system can be allowed to apply to such people;

    6.)Labour will support (with not even a Referendum mandate), the EU plans of forming a Mediterranean Union, whereby all nations bordering that sea will have, first, some sort of ‘associate’ relationship with EU, with a view to possible full membersip later. This is part of the EU’s unstated plan for EURABIA:

    you are intelligent to know that the Turks will make a beeline for Germany – not England. Why? because of the long established “guest worker” Turkish community there ( easier to get a job) and also, because across the border is Hungary… whose language is realated to the Turkish one.

    the sure as hell wont come to England. Miliband is just playing ZanuLab games and is of no importance whatsoever…

    Another historical fact is that the Labour government underestimated the numbers of immigrants from Eastern Europe.It would be foolish to do so with a poor country with a population 0f 80 million.
    The fact is it isn’t possible to have a cradle to the grave welfare state and open borders.

    The European Union, with UK Labour government’s enthusiastic support, is fully pledged to the undemocratic policy of the Islamisation of the EU, through mass immigration, aiming for an eventual Eurabia. (Google: Bat Ye’Or on ‘Eurabia). This is happening through the combined efforts of the EU, and Islamic interests. Demographic trends are consolidating the process.

    This BBC report (from 2005) provides an estimate of the number of Muslims in Europe; it was probably an under-estimate then, it is certainly an under-estimate for 2008:-

    “MUSLIMS IN EUROPE: COUNTRY GUIDE”

    “Islam is widely considered Europe’s fastest growing religion, with immigration and above average birth rates leading to a rapid increase in the Muslim population.
    The exact number of Muslims is difficult to establish however, as census figures are often questioned
    and many countries choose not to compile such information anyway.”

    As predicted, Day Two of Operation revive Labour:
    New immigration rules announced

    I don’t buy the argument that the Turks will all go to Germany, but this will probably be the argument that Labour/BBC will push when they demand that Turkey should join the EU. I’m sure they said the same about the Poles a few years ago, saying that the Poles will all go to Germany because they are next to each other. They also said the same about the Romanians, saying they would only go to Spain or Italy, but didn’t turn out to be true either. You just can’t trust whatever they say on immigration, they always come up with excuses to try and justify more and more. The lie of saying “opening up our borders is OK because no one wants to come here” has been used before and has been proven to be wrong everytime.
