Followed your link. Lynette Burrows gets a smack for the strange and repeatedly incorrect use of the word principle.
I wouldn’t have said anything if, a, that person hadn’t been an educator and journalist, and b, (if I’m making sense of your post,) your point was not so much about the BBC’s shoddy programme-making but more about agreeing with the view that the ‘smack’ is part of the armaments in that person’s fight (for the family.)
I know most people think lack of smack is the principal cause of all our problems. But they’re all wrong. It’s a matter of principle.

‘Multiculturalism’ as propagated without argument by the publicly subsidised BBC is well underway. Involving as it does the deprecation of one’s own society, culture and its national history, the ‘multiculturalist’ programme is well underway, as witnessed by Labour’s stealth anti-education project {see 8:10 pm above}, and now this:
“Words associated with Christianity and British history taken out of children’s dictionary” (by Julie Henry).

(I’ll remember that : one dictionary to avoid – Oxford University Press.)

Be careful, BBC; there is a possibility that your ‘multicultural’ non-judgemental appeasement towards a certain other culture may slip on this practice of FORCED MARRIAGE and Bangladesh: (short video clip) –
“Doctor ‘held in Bangladesh'”

It’s a good job the BBC is impartial, isn’t it? God alone knows what it would be like if it was biased.

Thanks for the chuckle.
As long as the BBC remains a ‘world’ broadcaster and not a British broadcaster transmitting to the world, they will skew the agenda. To put it bluntly, they are not on our side.

That’s the truth.

There was a HYS on Mumbai, but they put it up five days after the artocity and closed after two days with under 300 comments published and 1200 blocked. They were making sure that as few people as possible would have their say or read others’ say on the subject.
Typical BBC.

I saw the BBC world news America last night telling us Obama would be sticking with coal power,
They promoted it as special Obama ‘green’ high tech coal, but the real story was that he was sticking with evil coal.

Watching the BBC London news, I was amused to hear a Labour transport minister was explaining how beneficial the Olympics would be for London’s transport infrastructure, the benefits were as follows:
New Roads
More CCTV cameras
I fail to see how new roads sit with the governments commitment to greener policies.
As for more CCTV cameras, exactly how many does London need?, if 2200+ teenagers can be stabbed in London in the last year, it is clear that CCTV cameras do not stop crime.
