Just heard this story covered on R5’s ‘Drive’ programme concerning a prolific offender in South Wales and his brazen theft of a police car.

Grimer is correct – getting one’s news from the BBC is not good for health. R4’s PM just did a piece on the lack of snow in Moscow. The implication was clear – MMGW!!!! Across the globe early snowfall records are being broken, temperatures are plummeting and ice-caps are growing but… the BBC chooses to highlight the fact that Moscow has had less snow than usual. I defy anybody to say that BBC News does not have an idealogical editorial agenda here.
And it’s not that warm in Moscow anyway.
DB: I was just going to post on that as well. BBC News 24 just did a piece about the Bears in Moscow not hibernating because it’s so warm in Moscow. The BBC then spouts a load of lies (well nothing was backed up by facts) about climate change.
However, as soon as the piece finished the weather man came on and pointed out we’ve just had our COLDEST start to December for 30 years. So why is that not the top story then?
Of course we’ve seen this from the BBC before. They chase around the world looking for some crappy made up climate change bollocks (remember Harrabin doing a piece from Kew Gardens last winter claiming that climate change was causing flowers to come out early? A few days later most of the Country was buried under snow) and then move on as soon as that lie is pulled apart.
Fuck off BBC losers.
Tonight’s 6pm Radio 4 news was a classic; biased story after biased story, Gordon, Peter and Alastair will be pleased.

You have to admire Nick Robinson. Two members of the Cabinet say the economy is going to dive; the Chancellor actually contradicts Brown’s ‘Britain is best place’ mantra, and what does Nick Robinson blog about? Why, it’s David Cameron apparently being sneaky by talking about the economy, and of course he gets the Carphone Warehouse guy in there, as well as Osborne on the yacht. Mandelson wasn’t there, of course.

Frei Boy is showing that clip about the Russian bears right now. This was preceded by a piece of weather scaremongering about Australia and greenhouse gases. It stopped just sort of predicting lice, boils, and the deaths of all Australian first-born sons, though.
This was done on BBC World Propaganda America, a supposedly independent broadcast for the US market.
Gosh, if I hadn’t been set straight by a few visiting liberals, I’d have thought there’s a world-wide BBC agenda or something.
Alim Maqbool just told a lie to make Israel look the villain. As many of you probably know, Maqbool is retracing the supposed footsteps of Joseph and Mar from Nazareth to Bethlehem.
Naturally we hear that if they had made that journey today, they would have to go through at least five nasty checkpoints, along with other possible obstacles. Then Maqbool tells us that they would have to get a permit to enter Jerusalem.
Um, no they wouldn’t. Unless they weren’t Jews anymore. Just what is the BBC trying to do? The Romans were obviously so much more wholesome than the evil Israelis, yeah. Just waved all visitors through, they did. Probably offered flowers and ponies as well.

This is all part of the BBC/Palestinian campaign of rewriting history.
I can’t find it online yet, and I can’t remember the exact wording, but today’s instalment on BBC World News actually infers that Mary and Joseph were “Palestinians”.

It was not until we reached Balfurya, an Israeli community named after the Earl of Balfour – who in 1917, as foreign secretary, declared British government backing to the idea of a Jewish homeland in historic Palestine – that I felt the donkey and I finally reached an understanding.
That makes it appear that the Jews really were the invaders of a country called “Palestine” which had a history of its own without Jews.
“Historic Palestine” has always been Eretz Yisroel!
I’m just waiting for the BBC and its Arab friends to rewrite that Christmas carol “Once in Royal David’s city…”
