GOOD NAZI, BAD NAZI.

Interesting piece here on “mending the feud” between the savages in Hamas and the crazies in Al Fatah. I was intrigued by the BBC reporters view that Hamas are “softening” their line. Oh really? Anyway, you’ll be disheartened to know that there is little chance of rapprochement between these two gangs because of, yes, that’s right, Israel. Love the line “as the bombs fall on Gaza” – just like Dresden, right. Trying to point out the bombs fall on Hamas rocket sites and weapon storage depots seems to have escaped the sophisticated BBC mind. You see whatever the Palestinian problem, it is always the fault of the pesky Jews.

When fighting counterinsurgency wars, most armies seek to achieve military victory by defeating the military capacity of an adversary, as efficiently as possible. There clearly is no international expectation that military losses in war should be on a one-to-one basis; most armies seek to decisively eliminate as many enemy forces as possible while minimizing their own losses of troops. There are NATO members who have been critical of “Israel’s disproportionate use of force,” while NATO armies take pride in their “kill ratios” against the Taliban in Afghanistan. Moreover, decisive military action against an aggressor has another effect: it increases deterrence. To expect Israel to hold back in its use of decisive force against legitimate military targets in Gaza is to condemn it to a long war of attrition with Hamas.

The loss of any civilian lives is truly regrettable. Israel has cancelled many military operations because of its concern with civilian casualties. But should civilian losses occur despite the best efforts of Israel to avoid them, it is ultimately not Israel’s responsibility. As political philosopher Michael Walzer noted in 2006: “When Palestinian militants launch rocket attacks from civilian areas, they are themselves responsible – and no one else is – for the civilian deaths caused by Israeli counterfire.”

International critics of Israel may be looking to craft balanced statements that spread the blame for the present conflict to both sides. But they would be better served if they did not engage in this artificial exercise, and clearly distinguish the side that is the aggressor in this conflict – Hamas – and the side that is trying to defeat the aggression – Israel.

The only way the BBC’s Robert Hall could further excuse the violence near the Israeli embassy is if he picked up a barricade himself, hurled it at the police and then turned to the camera and said, “See, it’s not that big a deal.”

Excellent comments. Btw: compare the BBC wbsite headline about ‘Gaza protests’ (& that priceless “violence marred otherwise peaceful protest” noted above) with the Daily Mail’s “demo descends into violence”. The BBC just finds it IMPOSSIBLE to tell the truth!

Why is this hidden away in the never regions of the BBC news website and not splattered all over the TV news I wonder? Guess it doesnt follow the BBC’s ‘agenda’…

I’m curious how the BBC estimate crowd size at any gathering. A brief Google only shows how complicated crowd estimation can be. (See Crowd Estimation and Monitoring Techniques and then explain it to me). I have no doubt the police do understand the ins-and-outs of crowd estimation, but the BBC???

Farouk El-Baz, director of the Center for Remote Sensing at Boston University says the only way to accurately count heads in a large crowd is to graph areas on a photograph taken from a plane.

Did the BBC have a plane up? Who made the estimation and how?

Reading this report of the riots it seems clear to me that, as in the case of virtually every other “peace” rally very much a fun day of recreation for your average leftist. It’s an opportunity to dress up and partake in an enjoyable bit of street theater. Whether it’s throwing shoes or dressing in white shrouds or splattering red paint over ones self and lying in the road, the motivation is most definitely “fun” (as well as Jew-hatred).

And also an opportunity to draw attention to themselves, something which your average leftist lives for.

For “celebrity” has-beens like Lennox and Eno, it’s an opportunity to get their face in a media long since tired of whatever it was they had to offer.

These are people who will never grow up. They remain as children well into their 60’s and 70’s.

Of course there is a ferocious undercurrent of antisemitism too, since not one of these protesters has ever so much as muttered a grunt in protest at an act of Muslim violence.

Over the last couple of decades, they’ve seen Muslim terrorist attacks all over the world, they’ve seen Muslims blowing up innocent Israeli civilians not as unavoidable collateral damage in a strategic operation of self defense, but in acts of pure hatred and evil intended to kill women and children. Not one protest from this leftist scum in response. Not one. Half the time they won’t even give a token condemnation, so eager are they to rationalize and justify the barbarism on the grounds that Muslims “don’t have any other choice available to them” and other such baloney.

All through the years of Saddam’s regime, when the butcher of Baghdad was cutting people’s tongues out, gassing Kurds, torturing and murdering tens of thousands at Abu Ghraib and having women raped in rape rooms – not a peep of protest. Not one demonstration. Every single Starbucks window remained intact.

Then of course there was 9/11, a day in which Muslims killed almost 3000 innocent American civilians in an act the motive of which was not strategic, defensive or justifiable in any rational or moral sense whatsoever. The leftists didn’t protest in the streets, not one banner was painted, not one rhyming slogan composed – in fact they filled the studios of the BBC’s Question Time and used the opportunity to attack America.

Since then, Muslims have committed over 12,500 deadly terrorist attacks across the world, against innocent civilians. Not once in self defense. Not once out of strategic necessity. Not once to save the lives of anyone. Just pure, malicious, evil, rabid hatred. And not once have these leftist half-wits ever considered marching through the streets in a show of solidarity with innocent lives.

Then of course we’ve had threats of violence from Muslims against cartoon artists. We’ve had a filmmaker murdered by Muslims. We’ve had Muslim women stoned to death for “adultery” after being raped by Muslim men. We’ve seen countless of examples of oppression and butchery in the name of Islam. And not one protest in response.

Not even an attack on British soil, in which over 50 people were killed, was sufficient to rouse these filthy, unwashed, ignorant, immoral, irrational, nasty sons of left wing bitches from their water bongs in protest. No, even then they used the opportunity to let us all know that we had it coming, that it’s all our own fault.

Then, Israel acts in self defense to stop the indiscriminate aiming of rockets at its civilians. It launches strategic military operations in which everything possible is done to minimize civilian casualties, an almost impossible task given that Hamas deliberately throws its own children directly into the path of Israeli missiles by making sure their weapons depots and terrorist cells are situated in places where children play. And what do these worthless scumbags do? Protest Israel.

The act of Jews defending themselves is the only thing which will get these filth-encrusted shitbags onto the streets. They have the goddamn nerve to claim they’re not “antisemitic” and that it’s only the deaths of innocent civilians that motivates them to protest? This is a disgraceful lie, every single one of those bastards is motivated not by a love of life but by a hatred for Jewish people. I’ve never been surer of anything in my life.

I wouldn’t be so sure. Many of these protesters are Trustafarians with rich parents who could well afford to buy ten pairs of shoes to use as missiles. They probably have cupboards full of shoes that were in fashion one week and went out the next. Going to a shoe-throwing protest was, for many, likely to be a long overdue opportunity to regain some closet space.

Personally, I haven’t seen it on the BBC but I have seen it on Channel 4.

The piece was provided by World News And Features – a company co-owned by Paul Martin. Martin reports from the region for the BBC and has done for a while. Ashraf Mashharawi, the videographer whose brother was killed, has worked with Martin in the past. As has Mads Gilbert, the doctor seen in the video.

I saw the silly bint who claimed that “this (presumably Gaza) has been going on for 60 years”.

Doesn’t she know, or perhaps isn’t old enough to remember, that before Israel’s auto-ethnic-cleansing of Gaza in 2005 Arabs there had jobs on Israeli farms, earned good money, were able to travel to Israel to work, also for good money and enjoyed a standard of living higher than many in the Middle East.

And that’s leaving out the fact that before 1967 (not 60 years ago) Gaza was under Egyptian control.

The level of sheer ignorance and prejudice is scary.

    Brrrr…

Very well said indeed Jason. Mrs Biodegradable and I have spent long hours trying to understand the moral vacuum, the intellectual bankruptcy, the underlying lack of anything resembling logic and reason, and we too have come to the conclusion that antisemitism, judenhaas, Jew-hatred trumps everything.

    Antisemitism is indeed a virus.

For BBC: Israeli targets in Gaza –

    ‘Times’

    “Hamas rocket chief is killed”

    [Extract]

“The mastermind of Hamas’s long-range rocket attacks on Israel was killed yesterday in an airstrike, according to Israeli military sources.

“Amir Mansi, an engineer who commanded cells responsible for firing Grad rockets supplied by Iran, died after coming under attack from a helicopter.

“The Israeli army said he had been trying to fire mortar shells at their troops when he was targeted. Mansi headed the Hamas military wing’s Gaza Strip rocket division and ‘played a big role in Grad rocket attacks on Israeli communities’, a military spokesman said.

“He was killed after a Grad struck the Israeli town of Gedera, near the Tel Nof airbase, where nuclear weapons are believed to be stored.”

My attempt at translating the Hebrew passage you posted:

Because this is the second part from the film, and if people hadn’t seen the first part, then they wouldn’t know that there is also a second part. Readers of the depiction (revue?) of the film and most of the bloggers do not add my depiction. For example in the scene with the terrorists in their cave they didn’t know who this ” Moshe and a half(?) ” was because they did not read the depiction of the film. It’s very important to me that people will read the translation, and by means of this that they enter the link of the film (clip?) when they see it. Likewise there are links under the films (video clips?) that lead to the other movies. If the film appears in their blog they’re not friends to this(?)

Where did you find this, anyway? Is something missing from the end? I confess to using plenty of dictionary help, and this is as close as I can figure this out. My modern Hebrew is weak (at least I figured out “bloggers”), and if there are some modern idioms going on here I wouldn’t know the difference. Probably all kinds of schoolboy errors as well, but I gave it a shot.

Maybe someone actually fluent can help out?

Not to worry, Ratass. I can tell the difference between someone being silly and a vicious lunatic’s drive-by comment. Perhaps you haven’t noticed, but quite a few variations on your comment have been posted here many times, and I never said a word. Of course, you might now think that’s because I agree with the sentiment, and so keep shtum.

I can also tell when someone’s only purpose here is to give others a hard time, and not actually contribute anything useful about BBC bias. Even your alias is an insult to another commenter. If you’re only here to hassle people, what’s the point?
