Guido pictures BBC correspondent and R5 presenter Anita Anand in her Obama hat.

Squander Two asks if “some banks and a couple of car manufacturers being in trouble are stiffer challenges than September the 11th ?

And Dumb Jon reckons that “on the plus side, this does mean the week after the death of Princess Di is no longer the stupidest moment in modern pop culture“.

I tend to ignore the comments on YouTube, they’re usually pretty demented. The video speaks for itself!

The Obama worship continues – the spin on his retention of a Blackberry is that he “will be the first President to have email in the White House”. So Clinton and GWB never had email at all? What rubbish. It also glosses over the fact that Obama has apparently been told by the Secret Service not to use his Blackberry due to security concerns but has refused to give it up.

We’re officially in recession now, so will the BBC keep using the term ‘Downturn?”

Oh and Vince Cable has been all over the BBC again today spouting his usual rubbish. I still don’t know what Lib Dem policy is other than to blame the Tories.

I had to post this link to a new government job, 80k a year for a, wait for it, Director of Equality and Diversity Unit. I’m all for diversity, but how does the government justify 80k a year on such a job? what would the person actually do?

Though it is stupid, all that money for a pointless jolly up when the rest of us are worrying about losing our jobs.

‘President Obama can keep his BlackBerry, making him the first sitting president to use email.

Former presidents have chosen not to use email because they can be subpoenaed by Congress and made public under the Presidential Records Act. Gibbs said the “presumption” is that emails on the BlackBerry are still subject to public records laws, but noted the Act includes exceptions for strictly personal messages.’
