TORIES IN THE CROSS-FIRE!

Another morning and another chance to present the notion that the Conservative Party is divided. Yesterday it was on Inheritance tax, today it is on Europe. Mark Mardell was using the line that for the Conservative Party to withdraw from the (utterly useless) EPP would set up a crisis with the likes of MEP Christopher Weasley sorry, Christopher Beasely applying to join the EPP! Labour, and by definition the BBC, will open up more attacks on the Conservatives as we start the run-in to the June Euro-polls and I suspect this was just the beginning. The line being retailed is that the Conservatives are “extreme” if they seek to do anything that might de-rail the EU gravy train. Also, shouldn’t the BBC declare that it receives funding from the EU before it runs any story on this subject? Full disclosure is always a good idea when trying to pretend one in impartial.

With sincere thanks to my proof-readers!

Looks like a lot of people on here are falling for the Lib-Lab-Con trick… YET AGAIN.

    Left-Right is just an illusion.

It’s not intelligent to takes a side.

It his, however, more intelligent to realise what ‘side’ actually means… i.e. we are being played by the EU and the totally evil New World Order sadistics/sociapaths.

Time to wake up and smell the coffee, ‘intelligent’ people.

Don’t place your hopes in David Cameron. He’s useless, and is the kind of soft-headed “Compassionate Conservative” who lives in a cocoon and really has no idea what the BBC gets up to. He’s probably dimly aware that a couple of Beeboids are Labour supporters, but if he and his crew had any actual clue about what goes on at the BBC, he’d be making a hell of a lot more noise.

Mr Preiser, you disappoint me! Do you really think that Cameron isn’t totally aware of the prejudices of the BBC?

If he starts off at the beeb for biased reporting, they and their cronies will be down on him like a ton of bricks, and the narrative will be “whiny Cameron moaning about BBC bias”, aided and abetted by their allies the Guardian and Mirror, taking all the focus off Brown and his lies and incompetence. Much better “softly, softly, catchee monkey” and deal with them after the election. You know from your own country how ineffective complaints of bias are (see examples from Newsbusters, Ace of Spades, Hot Air etc). Norman Tebbit has talked many times about the left wing slant of the BBC, and the only response is “Old Norman sounding off again”.

Post slightly below your usual high standard, I’m afraid.

We’ll see. What do you honestly expect to happen if he’s elected next year?

Yep hatethebias: – he probably only reads digests and watches sound-bites – the political Class is busy.

Plus all he’s likely to hear from his backbenchers -if he listens to them at all – is some wittering about preserving the last Night of the Proms from someone who doesn’t listen to Today, PM, Any Dialectics, Gardeners’ Collective Farm, From Our Own Communist Sympathizer, Hadith For The Day, etc, every day as some of us poor taxpayers do, so he’s missed the 365, 24/7 Marxism and dhimmitude we occasionally discern hearabouts.

And what about ‘never do an enemy a slight injury?’ Freezing the budget?
    What’s the point in that?
they’ll only follow Hamas TV and tel the children that Chucklevision’s not on today becasue the Zionists and the Tories have killed both cast and crew.

    David Preiser’s right again.

The Tories have to be elected into government before they can do anything at all about the BBC.

If the Tories disclose their plans at this stage, the BBC and their allies in the rest of Quangoland will make it difficult or impossible for them to win a working majority in Parliament.

But once that has been accomplished, we will find out what kind of stuff Cameron and his party are made of.

Yes, Brown fiddled the inflation indices to keep them showing low inflation to keep interest rates low to encourage the debt binge. Interest rates were too low for too long. We are seeing the results of his dishonesty and incompetence now, and that is nothing to do with the World economy or the US sub-prime market. It is entirely due to Brown.
