SLOW JOE AND THE TWO STATE SHOW

I see the BBC is running the news that slow Joe Biden, Obama’s trained attack poodle, has told Israel that “it must” accept a two-State solution if the “conflict” with the Palestinians is to end. This entire BBC article is written entirely from a pro-Democrat position – which is at least a minor change since it’s normally written from a pro-Palestinian POV. These days, with The One, ascended into power, these positions are now virtually identical. Mind you, check out the imagery used to ensure sympathies are directed in the right direction, natch! As ever, the BBC shies away from referring to the Islamic terrorism that the Palestinians are so partial to indulging in. If you want to know what is happening in Israel, just avoid the BBC.

What a surprise the BBC headline
‘UN rebukes Israel over Gaza raids’
When has the UN ever said anything pro Israel but BBC just can’t wait to slag off Israel at every opportunity? Israel papers say UN also blames Hamas for sending missiles but of course BBC omits this. As DV says bias by omission is a main strategy of BBC, it is very apparent when you realise David Cameron is hardly ever quoted for anything making him appear asleep and definitely not a leader

Not only David Cameron – what about the shadow defence secretary Dr Fox? Or the shadow Foreign Minister Mr Hague? The conservatives cannot be allowed to be on the BBC in case they say something that people agree with.

Funny that we’re in an election period and the BBC is supposed to be balanced.

    Hmm.

On the subject of the list of people who are banned from the UK, have a look how the US ‘Hate List DJ’ is described: ‘Conservative political commentator Michael Savage’

The Beeb can’t bring themselves to mention the M word but at least they manage a covert dig at the Conservative party.

The Biden statement is not so surprising. It is only different in degree from US policy for many years, at least since Clinton.

The radical statement from Assistant Secretary of State Rose Gottemoeller (not yet reported by the BBC, as far as I can tell) is a far more radical departure. http://tinyurl.com/NPT-ISR

She wants Israel to sign the Non-Proliferation Treaty. In effect demanding Israel give up its nuclear weapons (which it has never publicly admitted possessing). There may be no third alternative as the NPT specifically excludes new members to the club. India, Pakistan and probably North Korea are also nuke possessing outsiders although no one seems to be demanding their compliance.

My understanding of the Israeli ‘not confirming nor denying’ stance is that it was taken at least partially at US insistence, so the US could pretend ignorance.

Waiting to see how Israel responds to this and how the BBC reports it.
