Tonights Question Time live-chat will be here. The programme itself comes from Llandudno and the panel will consist of the former home secretary Jacqui Smith MP, Shadow Welsh Secretary Cheryl Gillan MP, the leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats Lembit Opik MP, Plaid Cymru’s Elfyn Llwyd and John Sergeant.
As usual, we’ll be staying open for business through This Week as well…..and hoping for gems like HobNobGate from last week. The BBC have been trying very hard to avoid a race controversy by removing all evidence of Andrew Neil comparing Diane Abbott to a chocolate biscuit from websites and iPlayer. There were, apparently, 15 complaints. Regular contributor and blogger Dazed and Confused has other ideas though. Enjoy.
“There were, apparently, 15 complaints.”
Proof, 15 people still read the Guardian.
And I bet the 15 who complained where complaining about the chocolate hob-nob and not the custard cream. You just know they would. Sad people.
Idiots. Those who complained were those awful pink wafers that nobody likes but get on well with old aunts and MUST be included in a truly diverse tin fom Peak Freans
I’m wondering if my hatred of coconut biscuits could be seen as a hate crime?
Pink wafers O.H.? Let’s hope that Peter Tatchell doesn’t read your remark or there will be hell to pay over at Iain Dales place.
Diane Abbott is like a chocolate hobnob because they both come out with shit.
Abbott might have started out as a hob nob but she more resembles a wagon wheel at present.
Removed from youtube but still on line though…
