MONEY FOR OLD ROPE

The BBC Trust, according to reports today, is on the warpath because 40 – yes 40 – BBC ‘stars’ earn more than £1m a year, with 10 of them on more than £2m a year. That’s the cash from almost 360,000 licence-fee payers (£50m divided by £139.50). But they won’t name them. Which kind of begs the question – scratch you head here and think very hard – which of the morons who are BBC presenters deserve that kind of cash? And why the hell haven’t the BBC trustees (all ivory-tower quangocrats) done something about it before now? It’s our money!

Not hard to figure. Higher salaries for ‘stars’ indirectly lead to higher salaries for trustees. However, incidents like this may be another nail in the BBC coffin. Can a ‘transparent’ BBC survive?

Meanwhile the BBC seems very keen to have those Bankers who earn £1+ named. Do as I say…

If Nikki Cambell,Victoria derbyshire or Richard bacon are among them, the world has gone mad.  In fact any 5 live presenters should not be amongst them as they are all PC puppets.

Any bets that some of those Beeboids about to feel the harsh glare over their excessive salaries are the ones who approve of salary caps for executives in the private sector currently receiving money from the tax payer?

They must have charged my household a premium rate. I could almost swear it was £142.50 this year. Or perhaps the poster got a discount. Anyway, it should be going down, rather than up, year after year. We really shouldn’t be obliged to feed the voracious greed of this hideous empire.
