Setting The Tone

Here are the opening paragraphs of two articles from the BBC today, both from stories about anti-government protest movements. One discusses the “egalitarian” Purple People movement in Italy while the other is about the “conservative” Tea Party movement in America.

“Think of a world of politics without spin doctors, teleprompters, stage-managed conferences, party headquarters, manifestos, cynicism or even leaders.”

“When the bearded activist in wraparound sunglasses put his hand on my shoulder, I felt his anger.”

No prizes for guessing which is which. (Compare the pictures, too. One group is happily “festooned” in symbolism, the other has “declared war” “bitterly”.)

Does anyone have any views on whether the tea party movement could take off, here, in the UK? Sounds like the type of thing we could do with, to try to redress the balance – and reverse many of the socialist changes we have suffered from for many decades.

I think it very doubtful. The US is a far freeer country and millions of it’s citizens take the constitution very seriously. Mardell would have us believe it is all about healthcare which is not so.
It is also a vast land mass which allows those who abhor creeping socialism to move to areas where there are likeminded self reliant free people.
This is a very crowded island. It is being deliberately made more so in an evil experiment in social engineering by the left.
If you are young maybe it is best to leave but if you relish a battle and care for our history and culture then stick around. Remember the Libleft are certain the tide of history is with them and it is that certainty which is their greatest weakness.
It is founded on illusion and in the end reality always brings the illusionary dreams to an end.
It will of course be rather messy to say the least.

The ‘Tea Party’ is apt for the US, but not for our shores.  A development that might lead to a more consolidated defence of our democracy is this one:-

I did a post about the fake Italian grassroots movement in the last but one open thread, I hoped it would be picked by the editorial team as it clearly demonstrates the BBC mentality and narrative.
In the pockets of the leftist MSM and always eager to peddle any old lies and trash, the BBC cares nothing for actual reality/evidence based reporting/impartial reporting quality control.

The ‘il popolo viola’ is a leftist fake organisation run by the left and financed by the left, contrary to the breathless and wholly ignorant beeboid the so called grassroots is a tightly run front group with direct links to the well established communist/socialist/marxist/green alliance.
The most obvious questions for the BBC to ask is who bought the flags and banners? Who runs the computer newtork that brings all the elements together? Who is the target of the abuse and whose political agenda is being spread by this fake grassroots movement?

See the real BBC at work, witness the real agenda as it peddles its international socialism narrative at every turn, notice the target of the smear and lies campaign is the head of a media giant and direct competitor of the BBC media empire!
Italy is a great example of BBC dishonesty, the reports of unrest in Italy focus on the left inspired rent a rabble strikes timed to coincide with the elections, the left so desperate for its lost power resorted to a campaign of lies and smears duly assisted by the BBC at every turn. Now the BBC plays with words and perverts the truth to assist the utterly broken left regain power.
Look at the spiteful and disgusting lies, the smears and political manipulation of reality, the dark vested interests that have nothing to do with democracy, if these vile scum are not stopped soon they will usher in darkness not seen for decades.

Mark Mardell is a joke.  Was he or anyone else at the BBC concerned about the anger and tone of those who disapproved of the President back when they had a Bushitler poster on the newsroom wall?  I forget.

Excellent recall Mr P.  Another Preiserless observation!  I thought it was worth drawing to Mr Mardell’s attention.  Anyone else who would like to make Mr Mardell aware that his grotesquely selective memory has not gone unnoticed can drop an email to this address:-

I have had an email reply from Mark Mardell.  Below is my email to him and his reply:-

‘NASTIEST US POLITICS FOR 30 YEARS’

Dear Mr Mardell, I read your online report with incredulity. I can only assume you were in a coma while ‘Dubya’ was routinely depicted as an ape and Hitler.  Why, according to your former colleague Robin Aitken, a ‘BushHitler’ poster was hung in a BBC newsroom without demur from staff there. You may well wish that the BBC’s huge contribution to hatred and viciousness in American politics goes down the memory hole, as you now try to depict Obama’s opponents of being guilty of what the usurped BBC is, but you would be wise to remember the words of Lincoln. The day yet might come when yourself and your subversive colleagues are held to account.MR MARDELL’S REPLY:Silly billy

What I can’t stand is the constant attempt by the BBC to make fun out of violence against men. In the Radio 4 ‘comedy’ called Sneakiepeaks the ther day, we had fun being made out of a man being kicked in the groin, then male prison rape, and then when a woman grabbed his testicles.

This BBC-inspired misandry – hatred towards men – is almost relentless.

Mardell can’t remember a nastier time in US politics in the last 30 years?  I guess he was in a coma when ‘Dubya’ was routinely depicted as an ape and Hitler?  Oh, hold on, no.  No, that sort of viscereal hatred was propagated by people like him, Hewitt and Webb as BBC Correspondents.

Having said that, any group that uses Scooby Doo in a derogatory sense deserves opprobrium.
