B-BBC DIGEST

I wanted to update you on a very recent Biased BBC innovation, namely a Weekly Digest of the “Best of B-BBC” and this is being sent to 650 prominent MP’s and MEP’s. This is the result of the creativity and hard work of B-BBC contributor Graeme and we have already had some great feedback such as this…

Tory PPC for Lincoln Karl McCartney sent back:- “Thankyou for your email.  I’ve previously visited yoursite and indeed have the BBC’s telephone number on speed dial… I alsoattended a gathering hosted by the BBC Corporate Affairs section for PPCs andwas not reassured at all.

Others such as Nigel Farage have also responded favourable. We continue to get positive responses. The only Conservative MP’s who have asked NOT to receive the weekly digest are Alan Duncan, Simon Burns, and Michael Mates. What a shocker!
Bearing in mind the hundreds of prominent political eyes reading B-BBC, please do your best to ensure that comment here is civil at all times. We’re making an impact and we want to make sure everyone feels comfortable reading the blog. My sincere thanks to Graeme and I think this will help us further the mission to hold the BBC to account.

Hi, just to add that its not just confined to MPs and MEPs but to opinion formers in other fields as well, including those on the left such as Nick Cohen who put democracy before ideology.

There’s been even better feedback since I forwarded DV the above.  I’m sure he’ll keep you posted.

    Graeme (for hippiepooter is he!)

Hey!!  Is there any way we can all opt into this best of BBC digest?  E-mails like this tend to get forwarded too, so it sounds like a good way of spreading the news.

    Well done Graeme /h-p.

How about also sending to other blogsites – eg in the US (HotAir, Powerline for example.   And once I sent a Biased-BBC link to Bill O’Reilly of Fox – he ran an item on it later that week.)

I’ve just added Bill O’Reilly.  I dont want the list to get too big from my end though, 650 emails takes a while to get out as the number email domains permit to be sent is restricted per day/per hours.  I’m doing it from a spare laptop that a friend gave me and MS and Outllook do tend to crash.

Good to hear this site is having some influence, well done. By the way I have listened to Five Live today and the news bulletins are a clear poropaganda for the BBC’s party. Blair backs Brown, Brown is a genius that saved our economy, the Conservatives eat babies and beat up old people. It seems to me that most media are against the Conservatives and, as usual, the BBC is in the vanguard. Labour=big government=BBC paychecks.

Can I suggest people like Frank Field. The BBC is anti-democratic not just anti-conservative and anti-british. Good work Graeme

He and people like him are on it.  I would though be interested in what Labour and Lib-dem MPs B-BBCers think worth adding to the list.

Would it be possible to add some of Beeb Bias Craig’s statistics?

It is so much easier to prove the bias to doubters using objective facts.

Hi, I’m sure I’m not revealing too much to let you know that B-BBC is already in talks with a highly important media source about such topics.  Let’s see how it turns out.

It’s emailed to prominent opinion formers, mainly Tory MP’s and PPCs, but a good smattering of sincere democrats on the left as well.
