Here it is – the Election Night Liveblog…..starting when polls close at 10pm and carrying on until the last Moderator collapses in a gibbering drunken stupor over their laptop.
We’re live and dangerous across 10 blogs – All Seeing Eye, Barking Spider, Biased-BBC, Corrugated Soundbite, Dick Puddlecote, Governmentitus, GrumpyOldTwat, Man Widdicombe, Subrosa and Red Rag Online with the usual motley crew of Moderators from the Question Time liveblog.
See you here at 10pm!

Interesting how Jeremy Paxman decided to to stop Crick just as he started saying it’s likely David Cameron will be the next Prime Minister. The BBC dogs of propaganda are no doubt drawing up their strategies now on how they can reduce Cameron for the next election.

I had to laugh at Paxman saying imbecile pulling funny faces and doing funny walks. Anyone seen Crick popping up like a goblin to waylay Cameron and grinning like an imbecile at Cameron’s ripostes to Crock’s verbal sallies? And Paxman is not above pulling funny faces himself.
Then I thought…imbecile and funny walks…hm…he might be referring to Vine the Whine. Has anyone seen him doing this weird moonwalk for the latest BBC election night stupid gimmick? Walks like a dalek, talks like a dalek and you’d have to have been an imbecile to do election night togged out in some daft cowboy hat as he did a few years ago. Is there no end to the imbecility at the BBC?

I’ve seen BBC election coverage of two US elections and the recent EU elections. This will be my first time watching BBC coverage of a UK national election. I hope it’s less blatantly biased than the previous ones I’ve seen. The overt cheering for Democrats in 2004 is more or less what opened my eyes to BBC bias in the first place.

Just watched the execrable John Simpson speculating how relieved Labour will be on the basis of the exit polls! These, which are extremely dubious (and apparently cost £400k), but if true are the biggest swing since 1931. Simpson has concocted this nonsense out of his own head as he admitted he hadn’t seen anyone from Labour (he was outside Brown’s house).
I don’t think I’ll be watching much BBC tonight if this is their standard.

If the Conservatives finish as the largest party it is worth considering how far they have come from 2005.

I also note that BBC exit polls say Lib Dems will get 59 seats – I wonder if they realise that this would be 3 seats less than 2005?

Excellent article (with theme BBC is reluctant to embrace, post-Election):
“Why Cameron doesn’t need a majority – or Nick Clegg – to govern”
