ACTIVISM UNDERWATER…

I was reading this BBC report on the news that Israel has stopped a Palestinian terrorist attack, this time at sea, as four Palestinian humanitarians wearing diving suits met a watery death. In the first sentence the BBC tell us that Israel has killed four Palestinians. 8 paragraphs later the BBC informs us that “The al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, a militant group linked to Fatah, has reported that four of its men were killed and a fifth is missing.” So, Israel kills terrorists might be a more accurate heading. Given Al-Aqsa’s long track record of cruel and vicious terrorism, calling them “militants” seems as preposterous as calling the Islamic thugs on the Marmara “peace activists.” Given that the BBC portray Al Fatah as the more benevolent side of Palestinians, and given that this was THEIR terror group in action, I’m surprised the BBC has so few questions to ask about it. We know Hamas are sanitised by the BBC, and now so are Fatah.

The quote box on http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/8646529.stm has the following:

“Our morals and our religion prevent us from doing that

      (ie: kill captive soldiers)
      Mahmoud al-Zahar

Now tell me how many Israeli soldiers have been killed while in captivity by Hezbollah (The party of “God” ).

Doesn’t the BBC remember the bodies of a few dead soldiers, who died in captivity, held for years, being exchanged for hundreds of Arab terrorists?

“BBC informs us that “The al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, a militant group linked to Fatah”

the BBC doesn’t remind us, but I will, that Fatah is the party of the “moderate” Abu Mazen aka Abu Abbas.

Yes, the BBC’s Mr, Donnison is obsessed with political obfuscation in that BBC ‘report’.

Just as the likes of BBC’s Mr. Easton propagandises for Islam in Britain, and against the ‘negative Britons’, so in the Middle East, the BBC is working overtime to delude a wider audience that:

“The al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, a militant “[!] “group linked to Fatah, has reported that four of its men were killed and a fifth is missing, according to Israeli media. ”

For BBC and Mr Donnison, the truth about the Islamic jihadists, via ‘Jihadwatch’:

    BBC story headline:

‘hamas condemned for refusing humanitarian aid into Gaza, the UNWRA issued a plea for the aid to be allowed to go to those who needed it so badly.
Governemnets around the world roundly condemned hamas for playing politics with innocent civilians and making the situation worse for ordinary Gazans who need the aid.
Willian Hague called for an international investigation into the hamas refusal to distribute the aid and Ban Ki Mooon called for the imediate release of the aid.

Of course that report is not real, no report like it would ever be aired and all the other useful idiots like UNRWA and the UN and William(I dont need no stinking evidence)Hague.
The BBC blindness of when a story that is critical of the islamists is very telling isnt it? The truth is that hamas can afford to stamp its foot and lay down the law and the cringing appeasers will doff their caps wring their hands and toe the hamas line.
You would think that hamas would welcome the aid IF its people were starving and suffering because of the blockade wouldnt you? In fact hamas have a long track record of cutting off their nose to spite their face, they use the aid as a weapon restricting it and stopping it and bargaining with the UNWRA until they are licking hamas boots.
Never before has such a cynical and spiteful regime ever used and abused the utterly weak and feeble lickspittle UN so completely, they have become the bitches of hamas and seem to enjoy the role.

The headline to the story puts the word “militants” in quote marks, which is an interesting departure even from the pretence of accuracy. The use of quote marks is intended to indicate that it is merely an Israeli allegation that they are “militants”, it has not been established as a fact. But the Israelis do not allege that they are militants, they allege that they are terrorists. It is fair enough to conclude that using the word militants begs fewer questions than using the word terrorists. I happen to disagree, but if the BBC chooses the word militants to describe these people, that’s OK by me. (Even though the reason that they choose it has nothing to do with a desire to avoid begging questions, and everything to do with the negative image of terrorists.) But they are not entitled to change the way that other people choose to refer to such people. They can either put militants in the headline, without quotes, indicating that that is the BBC’s designation of them. Or they can put “terrorists” in the headline, in quotes, indicating that that is the Israeli’s designation. What they have done is pure fiction. Not the first time either.

Did anyone watch BBC news (on TV) on Friday night? The newsreader said (with a straight face) that the USA “funds Israel”. I couldn’t believe it. Nor could anyone else in the room that was watching.

Don’t they realise what a joke they’re turning themselves into for so many people? When will they address this?

The Beeb – Out of touch and hopefully soon to be out of money.

     see the original headline read

    “Israel ‘foils scuba dive attack'”

    http://cc.bingj.com/cache.aspx?q=Israel+%27foils+scuba+dive+attack%27&d=66120736637032&mkt=en-GB&setlang=en-GB&w=7774e09,8f7f390

    It now reads
“Israel navy kills four Palestinian ‘militants’ off Gaza”

and has the compulsory video of the people in Gaza pointing to holes in boats (which mean nothing) and angry Palastinians mulling around looking out to sea.

The BBC are the masters of propaganda in words and pictures.

Yes I heard this snippet of news on the oh-so-balanced “World at One”.
Apparently the AlAqsa Martyrs Brigade lost a few chaps when on “training exercises”…so Israel obviously being quick to judgement regarding these “vulnerable young men in their wetsuits”. Surely the Israelis are only sending them to Paradise even quicker than would otherwise be the case…rejoice at that news…got to be better than huddling under rubble like the Beeb says that all in Gaza have to do-except the ir journalists presumably!
