TRICKY VICKY

I try not to listen to BBC Radio 5 as it is usually too awful for words. HOWEVER, I did catch Victoria Derbyshire’s programme earlier and in particular a discussion on progress or otherwise of the Coalition. Anyone else hear it? I wasn’t surprised that the largest number of callers were unhappy with the Coalition – I am sure those manning the switchboard made sure of that – (Plus – some others are actually working!) but it was the tone Derbyshire took with those who dared attack Labour’s record. By any definition she came across as defensive and was plainly uneasy when callers dares to criticise the previous Great Leader. As I say, I try not to listen to this station – and will try even harder going forward!

Well I never listen to R5 anyway.  But, the BBC are in full “break the coalition mode “.  Dangerous game.  What if there is another election and the Tories get an outright majority ?

I listened to a fair bit of this programme and it was incredible (actually totally expected) how many Labour supporting callers were chosen to contribute. How on earth did the Conservative party get so many votes when so few people support them?  If you listen to the BBC you might wonder.

Standard for Vicky Pollard David. As for the callers what they do is ring those who text in in support of government, I’ve texted them before being anti Government and they just don’t call back, but if you listen many callers start by saying “as my text said”

This is clearly rigging the callers as the BBC try to make out that THEY are responding to people calling in, when in fact in many cases the BBC are calling back people who already have a view they like.

Richard Bacon slagging off Top Gear for daring to attack Alistair Campbell. Bacon really annoyed that Clarkson doesn’t believe in Climate Change. Bacon’s two guests are a pair of screaming queens as well.

1 person in the whole of the BBC slags off a man who has the blood of thousands on his hands and the BBC get upset.

I disagree. I heard the Derbyshire phone in, and it seemed all sides got an equal say.
Now, the Richard Bacon discussion on Top Gear really was dire; we can’t be having programmes about cars except ones praising electric ones, can we? (As Jeremy Clarkson once said, where do people think the electricity comes from?)

I am worried by the “unicorn fart gap” we have with the country of Unicornia.

Britain needs to immediately pour trillions into subsidizing the new, BROWN ECONOMY (named after that shit, Gordon Brown) to put us at the cutting edge of the white hot steel that is forging the exciting Luddite future.

        Or something like that. Whatever.

And the power grid in the UK is totally capable of handling thousands of electric cars plugged in all at once overnight during the hottest summer evenings.  Unicorn farts grow on sustainable trees.

The beeboids don’t get it. Top Gear interviews the guests for a lot longer but can only put in about 7 minutes or so, so they pick the funniest bits. normally they put the longer interviews up on the website.

Seems to really annoy Bacon though that anyone shouldn’t think like he does (a raving queen)
