    I had to pinch myself tonight during Newsnight because if Im not mistaken that was a very balanced report…even had Steve Mac on (although, a £4bilion a year news organisation STILL managed to get his website URL wrong!!!).

    All in all. Not a bad first attemt at balance.

    ALTHOUGH…it strikes me as being odd that the chief scientists from DEFRA would be supporting Mann Made Global Warming ™. Surely he should be supporting science and not the hoodoo voodoo that masquerades itself as climate science?

      One word is the key ‘FUNDING’ one word and it means the difference between AGW dogma withering or thriving.
      The met office/defra and all the other quangos and parasite bodies that syphons off HMG funding, the key to the lock which opens the door to funding.
      The establishment desires a certain narrative and the stooge supplicants know full well they either dance to the pipers tune or they miss the funding gravytrain.
      Any group wanting funding can simply attach AGW to its free money plea and the money heavens open, if you are a group that needs funding to increase your own gravytrain you toe the line and spew the correct slogans at the right time, you do not rock the boat and you do not deviate from the required script. Follow the rules and funding is assured followed by gongs and titles and golden pensions and all the rewards a grateful state can bestow.
      Dare to deviate from the script and ignore the narrative and you can expect the spiteful state to punish you. He who holds the purse strings also holds and controls the puppets strings, the establishment needs AGW whether its true or false, if the state desires something then the state will use its power and influence to get what it wants, in the end it doesnt matter if we enter a new ice age in the next couple of years and it doesnt matter what the truth is.
      Look at it this way, there are tens of thousands of state supplicants out there who could not earn a real living outside in the real world, these are the typical hangers on like flies round shite they hover and the state uses these useless parasites for its own ends. They hover around waiting for fake inquiries, they know whats expected and they strive to please their masters like the trained dogs they are, they are the gravytrain riders beloved of any dishonest regime.
      I would rather top myself than become a pet dog, but as we have seen the state trained dogs can see no further than the next bone their masters deign to throw from their table.

    OT , DV, did anyone pick up on the way the beeboids are spinning Gove telling the wrong school they can’t have a new science block, into the major political story of the decade ?
    If their affrontery wasn’t so great, it would almost be amusing.

      The BBC synthetic rage makes me sick to my stomach, the story of the decade or a silly error and put right in short order, no upset needing intense counciling and the faked up rage by newlabour was the limit!
      The BBC and labour acting in perfect harmony.

    The BBC have abused our trust on too many occasions. Put simply we no longer beleive any thing it says.  They bullshit about climate change, and for some time have been trying to get us to change over to DAB radio telling us how wonderful it is. Unfortunately for the BBC, DAB radio may be good in theory but in practice it is inferior in reliablility and audio quiality to AM and FM.  This is why we now  are supicous and question what agenda  is being  pushed rather than swallowing the bullshit.

    It appears that the Met Office (you know, that august institution that tends to get it all wrong, and who lie every day about the coming Armageddon through us all frying or drowning to death in a few months/years/centuries/perhaps, maybe, one day…) have “won” the contract for a further five years to supply that other leftie, socialist club member (Broadcasting Bollox Collective) with erroneous information to broadcast to the (un)suspecting masses.  More barbecue summers, more scaremongering, more inaccuracies, and more dumbing down.  Gosh, it must be a SUPER club to belong to, with everything going your way, the government in your pocket, your AGW dogma endorsed by not one, not two, but THREE (count them!) whitewashing comittees and the captive, fee-paying public in the palm of your hand, with the fear of imprisonment for failure to pay.

    And explains why the Russell enquiry lacks authority because it failed to interview critics.
