BBC V Israel

First of all we had the headlines about Hamas and Islamic Jihad’s pledge to kill more Israelis, but they used the phrase “Israeli targets” which subtly lends legitimacy to their murderous intentions.
Of course the real threat is to Israeli civilians, but the BBC would rather we didn’t realise this.

Then they announced that right-wing Israelis were angry with the prime minister for stating that Mahmoud Abbas was a partner for peace.

Was that by way of some sort of crazy counterbalance? Pitting proposed genocide against a run of the mill thumbs down?

The next bulletin promoted the angry Israeli story to the top spot; death threats relegated to second place. I said this somewhere else. They’re spending some of the anti-Israel venom saved up and banked from the even-handed Panorama.

Jeremy Bowen was still on about the grafted on nonsense. He thinks the conflict is over land, or stolen land, “occupied land, Palestinian land, holy land” as yesterday’s Hamas expert Beverley Milton-Edwards would have us believe.

They have managed to filter out the fundamentally antisemitic nature of the religion of peace which has been driving the Islamic resistance to Israel’s existence since before it existed.
Jeremy Bowen thinks it’s something that’s only just been “grafted on”.

They guy they interviewed this morning, he was from the electronic intefada. Sarah Montague said so in her introduction. What she didn’t say was what the electronic intefada is. It’s an intefada. Uprising. (against the existence of Israel)
Some people may not realise that. Others may know what it is, but think it’s a perfectly respectable outfit, seeing that the BBC turns to it for advice.
So it’s official. It’s not only the Israel/Palestine conflict but also the Israel/BBC conflict.

I don’t want to hear about any kind of “holy land” being taken from the Palestinians while Jews are not in control of their only actual holy place.  Jews are only allowed to pray outside the perimiter wall.  No other world religion is denied this right.  Has the BBC ever put forth this point of view?

The treatment of Jews in the Middle East before the founding of the state of israel and of Jewish religious sites in Muslim hands before 1967 is something that the BBC do not want to tell as it spoils their narrative of evil Israelis/Jews and nice Muslims.

It nearly chokes when it has to admit ANY connection with the Jewish people and their historical capital, David.

Because to explore that path leads to the inevitable unravelling of the whole phoney cynical palestinian “narrative”, and that would be a beeboid ideological catastrophe.

But the BBC keep telling me that Jews only came to the Middle East in 1948, is this not true?

I saw this via Elder of Ziyon. I always read Elder. There’s a nice photo of the Jihadi glamour group at their press conference, I particularly like the mighty militant with the mouth-hole, bottom left. So glum.

The bbc is now terrified of being so clearly exposed, with its romantic freedom farters, hamarse and hezbollocks being exposed as the genocidal islamonazis they really are.

The flotilla battle is more and more appearing to be a massive Israeli and Jewish victory, with the credibilty of gaza “starvation”, “peace activists” and the real purposes of islamic groups ripped to utter shreds. Even worse, millions of ordinary westerners have seen through islamic deceit, be it the Marmara or the GZ mosque outrage.

The message is not getting through anymore, and the beeboids are beginning to panic.

One BBC programme explaining the real story of the Flotilla does not come close to the amount of lies told by the BBC before that programme. Most people will be completely unaware of that programme and will have got their ‘facts’ from the BBC.

Unfortunately, so many people are used to hearing the demonization of Israel from the BBC that the one time Israel is not painted as cold-blooded genocidal murderers, they freak out and think it’s Israeli propaganda.

The BBC has spent years creating that environment, and it’s only been a few months since they’ve started trying to fix it.

the barracades are going up at al- broadcasting(a lie) house.

Its great, even if they start broadcasting the real truth, mobs of their muzzie chums will be outside with burning dhimmis on poles, attmpting to burn the studios down, and beheading all the unbelievers inside, to protest as this zionist outrage.

    Its win- win.

Yesterday World Have Your Say had a show on Bowen’s “grafted on” brainchild:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/worldhaveyoursay/2010/09/will_israel-palestine_peace_ta.html#249369#comments

And if anyone is pepared to grit their teeth and sit through 50 minutes of pro-Arab propaganda with a token Israeli thrown in (but only because he’s on the far left) this podcast will be available to download for a week:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/whys

I think you are right sue – they are trying to live down the flotilla Panorama. Can’t have anyone thinking that they have a balanced attitude towards Israel.

WHYS shows a remarakable indiiference to people’s comments, posting them only for a few hours a day and mostly just leaving them hanging. And they post nothing from Friday evening till Monday late morning. But I sent them this anyway:

I find it hard to believe that Middle East editor Jeremy Bowen could come up with such a fundamental misinterpretation of the Israeli-Arab conflict. Religion is only now being “grafted on” to a war over territory?

In fact, way back in the 1920s, long before Israel was estabished, Arabs slaughtered entire familes of religious Jews in Hebron because a rumour had been spread that they were about to attack the Al-Aksa mosque. And when Baruch Goldstein gunned down more than 20 Arabs, he did so in a mosque. And when Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon got a little too close to the Al-Aqsa mosque in 2000, Yasser Arafat used that as the excuse to launch the ‘Second Intifada’. By the time that was over, more than a thousand Israeli civilians had been murdered in restaurants, clubs and bus stations.

The Hamas Charter justifies the destruction of Israel and the killing of Jews based on the Koran. And many religious Jews are gradually becoming more radical in their confrontations with the Palestinians. Perhaps this Jewish radicalism is what Jeremy Bowen is on about, without coming right out and saying it. If so, to ignore a century of radical Islamic dogma from the Arab side, which holds that no Jew has any right to one square inch of Palestine, is historical revisionism of truly staggering proportions.

The terroriost at bottom left in that photo is probably downcast because he hasn’t yet killed “his Jew.”

  9. The Count of Monte Cristo in a Bubble Car says:

The BBC is clearly trying to create the illusion that the Israelis also have their extremists when any sane person can see that there is no equivalence whatssoever between the naysayers in Israel and the violent murderous thugs of Hamas.

The BBC is even plugging its pro-Palestinian agenda in reporting on the recent suicide attack in Pakistan. Amongst the details surrounding the attack, the BBC makes sure the message gets across that the Shia Pakistanis killed were gathered to show their solidarity with the Palestinians (i.e. Hamas) when one of Allah’s merry little self-exploding followers walked into their midst to instigate a further bit of carnage in the name of the religion of peace.

As for Bowen, I seriously cannot stomach him any longer; I reach for the remote as soon as this clown of a reporter makes an appearance.

Oh, the BBC was kind enough to supply us another intifada, this time a musical one!
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-11215298

But wait a sec, what does she raps about? Do we know anything? No, only her own confession:
    ‘My music sometimes sounds hostile.’

What do we get instead of lyrics? Context. And more context. You know which type context you can expect.
