THE YEMENI PROBLEM

Did you catch this interview with the British Ambassador to Yemen? Listen to how the fragrant Sarah manages to get through the interview with ever once mentioning the real cause of the problems afflicting Yemen – ISLAM. Instead, the issue is presented as being one of poverty. The Ambassador, sadly, goes with this whole unemployment/poverty angle which only then further encourages the BBC in its mission to ignore the real cause of global Jihad.

Ali Islam is an equal-opportunities terrorist. Of course, Mr Ambassador the vehicle wasn’t necessarily targetted because it was British but because it was infidel. Post event, watching Al Jazeera, Ali would have regarded it as a bonus that it was a vehicle carrying the Little Shaitan.

Poverty? I ask you. Yes and no. These Islamists want what we have not what we think.

A little excursion in the remote past. First ‘city’ on earth was Jericho (Kenyon et al.). Farmers grew crops, invested time and effort in agriculture. What did the do? Built massive walls to keep the nomads out who wanted to take without the work Think ‘Magnificent Seven’.

Islam is the ideology that says ‘take’ it is yours by divine sanction. From Day one it was so. Massacre of the Ben Quireshi jews.

    That’s what its all about.

And it is not our fault.

Don’t forget that “our” Ambassador is the servant of the EU now with all that that entails.
I agree with the last commenter, poverty in the Yemen is not our fault.

Nah, it isn’t because we’re British, Mr Ambassador. Second time this year, though. Just a coincidence…..read below.

LONDON (AP) — The British government said Sunday that Prime Minister Gordon Brown and U.S. President Barack Obama had agreed to fund a counterterrorism police unit in Yemen to tackle the rising terrorist threat from the country.

In an e-mailed statement, Brown’s Downing Street Office said the U.K. and the White House agreed to “intensify joint US-UK work to tackle the emerging terrorist threat from both Yemen and Somalia” in the wake of the failed Detroit terror plot.

“Amongst the initiatives the PM has agreed with President Obama is US-UK funding for a special counter-terrorism police unit in Yemen,” the statement said.

A U.K. government spokeswoman later said the initiatives in Yemen are part of ongoing work between the U.K. and the U.S and that the cost of the counterterrorism police unit will be met by existing funding commitments to Yemen.

The spokeswoman said Britain is forecast to give more than 100 million pounds ($161 million) to Yemen in 2011.

Downing Street said in its statement that Britain is already helping to train Yemeni counter-terrorism officials but the spokeswoman said this is the first time the counter-terrorism police units have been confirmed.

No. But as Wikipaedia “Islam in Scotland” asserts:

‘There were muslims in Scotland during the Dark Ages. They preserved the works of the Ancient Greeks from almost certain loss to Europe.’

Moral. Don’t rely on wiki, especially if Sarwaz is editing from the local library in Paisley.

It’s not Islam.  It’s the fact that these people are still cavemen, and the realities of the modern world are causing conflict.  Islamic jihad is just making it a lot worse.

    The Yemen. Osama’s home turf.

The Saudis are piling in. The Northern Schia tribes are  fighting the Saudis. We are there. Al Qaeda is there (fighting everybody). The Goverment the West is supporting is fighting on THREE fronts and the army is falling to bits.

The world just doesn’t seem to be getting any better.

The focus of the Islamic Sunni/Schia dilemma plus Salafists.

A hornet’s nest and we are involved, yet again.
