I don’t know – it might be quite interesting to find out what Obama needs to do with Piers Morgan and Simon Schama.  I could think of something apt – impolite, maybe, but apt…

Oh yeah, hadn’t read it like that. Might watch after all.

He could sign a document saying he’s going to close them down, but I somehow doubt that would work.

What a pity that the standards of journalistic excellence at the BBC don’t extend to a knowledge of basic punctuation.

No way in hell am I going to watch this.  The Maitlis stage performer and Drama Schama at the same time?  Too much for me.

If I want to hear from Piers Morgan, I’ll wait until he takes over for Larry King and has the President on for a little love fest.

Schama doesn’t get it. If you raise taxes then people spend less of the money they have AND if you tac business more they have less money to invest in jobs and equipment.

So Schama you mincing queen how does raising taxes help the economy.

Unless Morgan is on to advise the Democrats on how to fake pictures of Sarah Palin gunning down illegal immigrants, I question why a serious news program is wasting any time on a known fraudster.

Quite right DJ – this man was kicked out of his job at the Mirror in disgrace. He had smeared British troops in a time of war and put more peoples lives at risk.  What advice could he give to anybody that would be honest and reliable? He represents everything that is wrong with the “liberal elite” Yet even the US is embracing this cretin in the hope of taking viewers from Fox (I think they have backed the wrong man)

“I am an ex soldier in the British Army. I am absolutely gobsmacked that a great patriotic country like America, who pride themselves on being patriotic and supporting their troops are now embracing this man. I and all of my colleagues consider piers morgan a traitor to my country. There were a lot of calls for him to face charges of High Treason in this country. I can only assume that the good people of America are completely unaware of his demise in the British press through his traitor like ways against the British Army. I despise him and you are welcome to him, as long as he is out of this country, be warned US you are taking in a man who made massive errors in judgement against the British Army, and if that were US soldiers he attempted to disgrace then you would not accept him I am sure. Good riddance.”

    BBC-NUJ-Democrats subtext message via Maitlis:

    1.) we’re not doing any friendly ‘in-depth’ interviews with Republicans because we don’t like them;

2.) we are doing friendly ‘in-depth’ smiley interviews with Democrats
    because we like them.

Obama-worshipper Mardell asks a stupid question:

    “Should Obama betray self-doubt?”

    It’s like asking:

    “Should BBC-NUJ forsake political correctness?”

“What a shame we can’t have a Tea Party PM in Britain”

    [Extract]:

“All we seem to get in Britain, and on the BBC in particular, is a procession of entitlement junkies lining up to denounce the ‘cuts’ and demand ever more unaffordable State largesse.”

“Cuts” in the world of the entitlement junkies, actually meaning spending increases – but at a lower rate of increase.

Yesterday on Radio 5 live, Peter Allen opened the programme with the words “It is very disapointing news”. To which the “reporter” in the US replied “It certainly is ..erm. err for the Democrats”.

The agenda was there for all to see. It was “disapointing” for Peter Allen.  The bias got even more overwhelming when Allens’ dissapointment turned into a Republican bash. If anyone relied on that idiot for news the impression would be that the Democrats were defeated by an angy mob baying for the bombing of Iran. I kid you not.
