Anyone catch Sarah “Birdbrain” Montagu on the Beeboid Pensions strike this morning?
Well, for those of you that missed it, there were no less than 3 stabs at the story on Today. Three! I missed 2 of them (a man can take only so much of a morning) but the 3rd was a classic.
Hell hath no fury like a Beeboid being deprived of his/her/its silver spoon, and Montagu used the slot to viciously attack one of the 8463937865 Beeboids who works in BBC HR.
It was truly hilarious, not so much a news item as a mugging. Firstly Montagu scathingly attacked the whole BBC HR apparatus, pointing out that something like 10 of the top paid HR positions in the UK are ALL BBC staff! Simply incredible!
But it was also notable by the personally vindictive tone, and by the by the overt way the slot was used to advance a particular self interest (ie that useless Beeboids are naturally entitled to, errrr, everything they want, and that we – the public – must pay).
Thirdly, one soon realised there was really very little objective editorial merit in the story. Frankly nobody gives a xxxx whether Jocasta and Rupert are having their little pension problem or not. But for the national broadcaster, Beeboid news IS the news. As ever.
Are these people REALLY so insular and stupid? Yes, I think they are.
PS Wasn’t it a pleasure it was not to have the Today programme during the Beeboid strike? One felt so much happier on so many levels. Read Boris in the DT about this… he absolutely nails it.

I noted on Sunday how the BBC compared to ITV reported that the jobless would be made to do a little work or may loose benifit.
The BBC only talked about the problems this would cause quoting only those that spoke against it.
ITN whilst also quoting the negative had also sent a team to Chelmford to talk to unemployed men who were doing a kind of pilot scheme. All of them were very positive about it, on how it was helping them.
It just shows how biased the BBC were and how ITV had shown both sides. ITV had reported it correctly . Whereas the BBC again showed only the one side it believes in.
Just who will sort out the BBC. It is in breach of its charter all the time.
I listened to the 5pm headlines on Radio 4 where Parliament were described as having ‘kicked out’ Phil Woolas. Now I cannot decided if it is dumbing down or listening to the voice quality of the Newsreader her utter disgust that this should happen to her friend Phil.
However when the headlines were repeated it became that Mr Woolas has been ‘removed’. Was there a complaint or did even the BBC realise that the description of ‘kicked out’ was inappropriate.
Probably an editorial intervention. After all, the BBC has to pretend to be impartial.
The Beeboid corporation often uses colloquial expressions such as that in its news programmes or news website articles. It is part of the sloppiness and poor standard of English shown by many of those now employed by the BBC.

Hmm, BBC 6PM news has forgotten about Phil Woolas it appears.
Oh dear! I cannot find this news anywhere at the BBC but, according to WUWT (http://wattsupwiththat.com/2010/11/08/public-carbon-trading-dead-in-the-usa/ ) , the Chicago Carbon Exchange has finally closed its doors. This was the load of crap that was bought for $600 million in May this year. Apparently the shyster who is currently head of state of the USA was involved in its creation – per the WUWT report

A strange headline for an article which is mostly (3/4 at a guess) concerned with the progress of the Burmese election (and not GB’s twattering).
Strange how GB’s point of view is deemed more ‘newsworthy’ than that of The Foreign Secretary – whose quotes appear after GB’s.
The article states that Brown “resigned as PM after losing the election in May” – but it seems this fact is yet to fully sink in at the BBC.
Clearly making GB appear kool and compassionate is more important to the BBC than what’s happening in Burma.

Sometimes I think the BBC is on a different planet.
Another BBC story about a failing housing company, another BBC failure to mention Gordon Brown’s PFIs. On the News Channel just now there was a story about some construction company that’s going into administration. Apparently it was considered a success story until recently, as its business went up to over £300 million untl the credit crisis.
Naturally, this company – Rock? – made the bulk of their money doing public housing. Now that the nasty Tories have gone into austerity mode, there’s no more billing for them. Cue the violins for the bit about how not enough public sector housing is going to be built.
Completely missing from the BBC’s reporting: Chancellor Gordon Brown shifted all PFI expenditure off the books to make the national debt look better much better than it really was. This was a major symptom of his profligacy and one of the methods he used which enabled him to get away with spending the country into the toilet. Yet not a single mention of Gordon Brown or the fact that this company’s success was essentially artificially constructed all those years, taking in money the government didn’t actually have. At your expense. The company should have gone under years ago, if not for Mr. Brown putting your grandchildren into debt in order to prop up an industry.
Just a thought, but I have realised that, like the humans being harvested for electricity in The Matrix all the government wants is to have a pliant populace in order to harvest as much money as they can. Perhaps we should halt the problem at source.

As ever, unbelievably depressing to listen too, and NEVER about the pleasures of the table. It has been presented since the days of Marconi by a woman so posh and patronising she makes the grisly Joan Bakewell sound like Kathy Burke.
Today one had to endure this creatures hibernian-edwaardian vowels delivering a sermon on “disappearing food tribes” and the preservation of “indigenous food cultures” from some absurd international conference in Canada I think.
Nothing of any interest except to the participants was broadcast. The only food stuff mentioned was Wild Rice grown on the shores of one of the great lakes partly a pretext for an attack on evil American agribusiness, and some pretentious wibbling about it tasting of lakeshore mud. Various other (suspciously well spoken) indigenes were interviewed as if they were Maoris being presented to Queen Victoria and encouraged to plug the BBCs remorseless bio-diversity and global warming agenda.
This sanctimonious, hypocritical, stupid, lavishly pointless drivel was a compressed masterclass on all the underlying problems of this increasingly ludicrous organisation – it deserves a wider audience.
I think it might just be the worst thing they broadcast.

Anyone catch the 0900 slot on Radio 4 this am? This curious re-run provided an instructive insight into the way our National Broadcaster (sic) deals with religion generally, and Islam and Christianity in particular.
The premise of the programe was quite interesting: it featured identical twin daughters, both impeccably English middle class, one of them a practising Christian and the other a devout Muslim.
So what was the point of this programme? Well, I always feel that you can discern the true intent of Beeboid propaganda by the payoff line. In this case, the final word, complete with a rhapsodic hymn to Allah, went to the Muzzie. And the message: well, the UK is mutlicultural and so Muslims have just as much right as Christians and loads of Brits are “reverting” to Islam and one hopes in these Islamophobic times that Pakistabni-English children will be fully respected as being British… and so on (perhaps some helpful Beeboid will provide a transcript?).
In other words, the same old Beeboid meme – we are now “multicultural” and very, very pro-Muslim. And in THE prime time slot for the day. And a re-run???! Why??? Who makes these decisions? Presumably the Muslim BBC head of Religion has a strong personality, and much influence.
But for me this programme typifies the casually abusive BBC approach to Christianity. Whenever a practising Christian is featured, there is always, but ALWAYS, a giant, nasty “but”. In today’s case, the “but” was Islamic – a bulls eye for the BBC!
I am sure, in their myopic way, the 9736309746 nice public school/Oxbridge boys and girls who produced this show felt they were absolutely fair and true to the standards of the BBC. And I guess they were. It is precisely what we expect from this irrelevant, arrogant and treacherous organisation.
Can I assume that they never asked anyone of Pakistani origin if they were interested in being British in any form other than residential paperwork?
Yup, you got it. Probably because this would infringe their “human rights”.

Pakistan wicketkeeper Zulqarnain Haider retires from international cricket after reportedly receiving death threats.
According to the bBC he has simply retired from International cricket because of threats and travelled to London.

Both Tim and Sophie on the News Channel pointed out to the different Labour MPs they were each interviewing that Woolas was found guilty. There have been a few segments on this, all of them giving plenty of air time to Labourites saying Woolas should not be suspended indefinitely and we should never trust judges because people are often found innocent on appeal.
The BBC is admitting there was a near mutiny against Harriet Harman (Sophie even asked one of the Labour MPs if there was a “split”, although that was easily dodged), but it’s mostly because the Labour mouthpieces they keep talking to sound really angry and were pretty clear about bashing Harman. I don’t know if there’s a split as much as there is anger at her grandstanding.
But also David what about Red Ed’s judgement giving Woolas a job? The BBC bang on about Cameron’s judgement giving Coulson a job (even though Coulson had resigned from the NOTW and had never personally been accused or charged with anything and Cameron said he was giving ihm a second chance, something clearly leftists don’t believe in) but ignore Red Ed’s judgement knowing that this story was likely to flare up.
Yes if Woolas had been a member of the coalition government the BBC would have been highlighting each new development in the story across all its programming for the best part of a week

The victim was an Islamic faith healer, the people who murdered him were Muslims and after they tortured and murdered him they buggered off to Islamic Pakistan. Here’s some US news that’s very relevant to life in the UK, and something which the BBC really ought to be reporting. It’s also especially relevant to today’s BBC coverage of the President’s attempts to pander to….sorry….to improve relations with Mohammedan Indonesia. One result from last week’s election which got ignored in all the fuss over the failures, racism, and extremism of the Tea Party movement was the overwhelming approval of a ballot initiative in Oklahoma to prevent judges from considering either Shariah or “International Law” when deciding cases. It’s no secret that there’s a big concern about parts of Sharia being implemented into or at least accomodated by British law, so one would think the BBC might see this as US news which is actually relevant to the British public, as opposed to what dress Michelle Obama is wearing today, or a fire on a cruise ship which harmed no one.
I’m sure everyone remembers the noise when the ArchBeard of Canterbury said something about how it was “unavoidable” that Shariah would become intertwined with British law. So why isn’t the BBC reporting this now?
The initiative was approved by 70% of voters. The key issue here is that, as it was about both international and Islamic law, this is about sovereignty more than anything else. Naturally, terrorist-supporting CAIR sued and won a temporary injunction blocking the measure – which is actually a new amendment to the State Constitution. And that only happened because after the election the state is in between attorneys general, so CAIR’s suit fell through the cracks and won because there was nobody in office to respond to it in time. Very clever.
But why isn’t the BBC reporting this at all? Here’s the perfect opportunity for them to bash yet another group of United Statesians as bigots and Islamophobes and isolationists. They probably don’t even know about it, so focused are they on the handful of things they want to use to build that rapport for you with the US.
My guess is that it’s not being reported because the proposition was thrown out.
If Oklahoma had committed cultural hari-kiri by passing the thing, rest assured we’d have plenty coverage along the lines of:

Robert Peston is still pumping up China’s business. Wow, how great, China is going to focus on increasing domestic consumption of the stuff they produce, which means there’s an opportunity for British goods as well.
My question is this: If so many millions of Chinese are “no longer dirt poor”, and China’s wonderful state-controlled economy has produced this huge middle class and all those wealthy consumers, why hasn’t domestic consumption been absolutely massive? If everything was as great as these experts always say it is, why would the government even need to work hard to stimulate consumer growth?
