IS THE BBC RACIST?

Oh how sweet! From the Irish Independent today...

“The BBC’s Newsnight programme has been accused of “racist” stereotyping over a bulletin about Britain’s role in the international bail-out for Ireland.

Viewers complained that scenes depicting a cut-out of British Chancellor George Osborne dancing across sepia images of the Irish countryside were offensive. Comments by Mr Osborne about supporting the country through its financial crisis also flashed on the screen in a Celtic font to the sound of traditional Irish music. The report, aired on Thursday night â days before the Government gave in to EU demands to accept a multibillion euro bail-out â ended with a shot outside a shebeen house. Message boards and social networking site were awash with angry comments condemning the coverage as âbad tasteâ and âcondescendingâ. One viewer wrote on Twitter: “What did we think of the Newsnight Oirish shebeeney leprechauny [sic] graphics?… I personally fainted.” Another added: Another simplistic Oirish piece on Newsnight. I mean we’re screwed and we deserve ridicule but spare me the trad music, jigs & condescension.”

Others attacked the current affairs programme after the story was reported on news websites alongside a YouTube clip of the bulletin. One reader railed: Are you joking me? —— racist pigs! That was very deliberately done and meant to insult! The BBC said it was investigating whether any official complaints had been made about the programme.

So, the answer is, YES, the bbc is racist. But we’ve known that for quite a while, now. But it’s not just racist; it’s everything that is bad. It is anti-democratic, pro-islam, anti-Israel, pro-labour, pro-theft via the licence fee, secretive, hardly accountable to those who pay the bills, a big socialist ball of excrement that should be flushed down the toilet of history, never to be seen again. not even as a Mr Hanky lookalike.

I think the sad thing is they just won’t see it! they have no idea how hated they are in the country and wider world they never go outside London, where all the Irish they will ever meet work in themed bars and all other foreigners  are just staff  or photogenic Black kids with begging bowls they love all that stuff [preferably once a year when they can trot out the c Listers to make tits of themselves]   it’s why they are so casually racist about most of the worlds peoples just look at the constant anti French/German /Belgian jokes they spew out, well all except the you know who’s who are only seen as cultured religious men ahem!
Oh and I won’t get started on the sexism of the beebles! but we know who’s giving them tips on how to treat their  women !

Maybe, just for a laugh, the Met should do an in-depth study on whether the BBC is institutionally racist if, of course, in a way that is ‘different’ to other organisations.

You know, a bit like this one, and the many that preceded it…

Be nice to see a few Beeboid producers under the glare of the interviewer’s spotlight, trying to stammer out an excuse on behalf of the many for the actions of a few, with the agenda already set and guilt pre-determined.

    Sort of ironic. Uniquely so.

Are the Irish a race?  If I’m rude to Terry Wogan, is that racism?  Does it mean he must be of a different race to me?  Or can I be racist against my own race?

Or are people just too quick to label anything that’s bad taste racist?

You’re not allowed to think anything any more, let alone say it, for fear of upsetting some liberal twat.

Bollox to it.  Islam is murderous, the Irish are, well, Irish, homosexuals are queers, and I don’t like them, I don’t like religion of any kind, I hate the BBC because they are a cesspit of a combination of the lot of ’em.

There, that should guarantee a fatwa, at the very least, and the thought police won’t get me here in France.  Bollox, I say, and bollox again.  Twats

The Beeboid Corporation has an obsession with “race”, whatever the term means. On one view, you could say that no group of people is actually a “race”, other than human race as it is not an established scientific given but a somewhat arbitrary social concept invented by people who saw other people as funny -looking and -sounding, foreigners and so invented a term for them.
Nevertheless, we have laws against “racial” discrimination which define it as applying on the grounds of “race”, nationality, ethicity, skin colour or origin. So in the context of the Beeboid’s preoccupation with “race”, I guess the Irish can be a “race” as much or as little as anyone can and have long qualified as a group of funny-looking and -sounding foreigners  – albeit somewhat domestic at the same time (a home nation, almost), and nowhere near as “foreign” as say, the French, who remain wholly foreign, despite their near proximity and our penchant for holidays and wines.
There must be a reason why the Beeboid Corporation is so obsessed with race while itself being racist at will according to some weird institutional disposition. Could the two things be connected?

The BBC’s long-running Radio 4 soap The Archers has been accused of ‘racial stereotyping’ over the portrayal of its only Scottish character.
Listeners of the programme have objected to the behaviour of Jack ‘Jazzer’ McCreary, who is shown as a mean, heavy-drinking, car-stealing, drug-taking, womanising Glaswegian who likes to eat porridge.

Perhaps the graphics bloke was on loan from Andrew Neil’s This Week?

The graphical cliches on that are a thousand times worse (or funnier depending on your point of view and level of drunkeness at the time).

Did anyone see the ‘Harry and Paul – Henley Royal Northerner Show’? Makes The Archers look tame.

Are Northerners a race? Is jihad imminent?

I thought it was hilarious.  Although I realize that makes me as elitist and bigoted as the nasty rich folk of Henley.  Oops, I’ve gone off script now…..
