    http://www.newsletter.co.uk/lifestyle/features/nr_greer_let_s_hear_no_excuses_for_9_11_atrocities_1_3050815

It’s easy to see Mr greer is a fan of biased bbc!

LAST weekend marked the 10th anniversary of the terrorist atrocity at the World Trade Centre in New York. It was a terrible event that resonated around the world, and not least in Northern Ireland where we had seen our own towns and cities devastated by terrorists; though there was also the troubling truth that funds from across the Atlantic had enabled destruction and the murder of innocents here.

However while Americans rapidly shook off their misty-eyed delusions about “freedom fighters”, the opposite happened on this side of the Atlantic, where the liberal left rapidly adopted an anti-American agenda and have spent the last decade empathising and sympathising with the ideology that murdered 3,000 people, going about their work, on September 11, 2001.

This perverse analysis was given an early boost by a truly disgusting edition of BBC’s Question Time; with the Twin Towers still smouldering and the dead not yet recovered, the audience lashed the American Ambassador with “you deserved it” type comments.

And so it has continued, with every sin, real or imagined, of the democratic nations amplified by the leftist media and the monstrous regiments of the human rights industry, while the on-going barbarity of Islamic regimes and terror groups is excused or ignoredI

The BBC has flown a journalist to New York to report on how few women there wear niqabs and burqas.

And Heaven forbid anyone might suggest that immigrants should respect the norms of the communities they move to! Islamophobia, like “racism” is now a device to silence legitimate debate.

They cry into their Freetrade organic latte coffees about how evil America’s support of the fascist Jewish state has left the poor downtrodden Islamic masses no choice but to resort to wholesale butchery.

It is all George Bush’s fault they whine, or the Tea Party, or Tony Blair, or Margaret Thatcher, or Benjamin Netanyahu: anyone except Osama Bin Laden.

It is a theme that plays well to naive followers of the liberation theology, the type who wear a Che T-shirt and a yashmagh while filling in their Green Card applications, or who lecture the little people on the wrongs of capitalism and inequality from their holiday villas in Tuscany.

It is an analysis that is as ignorant as it is naive. It ignores the fact Israel is the only democratic nation in the region and that its neighbours are seeking its absolute destruction.

It sidesteps around the fact that 9/11 was not the work of a PLO linked group, who are driven by a hatred of Israel, but by Al Qaeda whose ideology is driven by a hatred of anyone who does not follow their fundamentalist interpretation of the Sunni Islamic creed including Christians, Atheists, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikh, and most other Muslim sects

The liberal chattering classes generally oppose religious notions of morality as a basis for law. Let us remind them that in Islamic states those who do not believe what they are told, or who dress or behave in a manner considered “inappropriate” by religious leaders are subject to arrest, beatings and torture.

While Western leftists argue for welfare for single mothers, adulterous women in Islamic states are imprisoned, or buried in sand and pelted with rocks until they die.

Woman’s liberation? Tell them about “honour” killings.

Last week we heard the regular socialist claptrap about child poverty, but the same mouthpieces say little about children used as suicide bombs by radical Islamic terrorists. Let us ask them about that.

Islamic terror is not about Israel, Guantanamo Bay, Western Islamophobia, or oil, or any of the hundred and one other excuses pumped out on a daily basis; it is a Holy Jihad, an existential war that seeks to destroy Western culture and democratic freedoms, and subjugate non-believers. There are many legitimate debates as to how best to oppose this evil but not to oppose it is to surrender.

Many and big mistakes already have been made in the struggle against radical Islam, and doubtless many more will follow, but continued appeasement would be the biggest mistake of all

Anyone else heard Radio 5 simpering all day to the pikey scum in Essex?

They had big fat Polly on this morning spouting on about “uman rites” perhaps fat Polly would like to offer the pikey scum the land one of her many houses sits on? Or Vanessa Redgrave, the BBC NEVER ask that do they?

Some dozy cow rang in, supporting the pikey’s well again I’d like her to offer the land where she lives.

I’ve had pikey’s living near to me for years and a new lot that have turned up taking over a kids football pitch, they are vile creatures who leave behind a trail of filth and crime.

Shame we can’t persuade them to park in the car park at TV centre, you can bet if rich beeboids can’t park their big 4X4 they will soon move the pikey dross on.

Oh and I wonder if the BBC have sent one of their TV licencing goons to the pikey site to see if they all own TV licences, anyone want to bet they don’t?

The BBC today has a spring in it’s step and a smile on it’s face.

Good News! Unemployment is UP. You could almost imagine a cheer going up in the newsroom when the figures were released. Now to accompany this bit of great news, what else can we report to accompany this piece, any suggestions? – Yes, unions plans for public sector sabotage over the winter. Right we’ll go with those two as leaders.

What was that? What about the Eurozone? – Oh no we have a policy on that; We only report good things about the EU. Our Common Purpose masters say, if you can’t report anything good about Europe, don’t report it at all.

And so another day in beeboidland where denial is the best policy.

The World is teetering on the edge of the abyss, with Greek default certain to happen, and all that that entails, and the BBC choose to trumpet the coalition’s failure to keep unemployment down, which, granted is significant, but compared to the implosion of the Euro, and multiple countries defaulting, surely that should be THE story today and for a while to come until the inevitable collapse of the EU in it’s present form.

No not in Beeboidland, you ignore it if possible, you talk economic bollox via ‘Stiffy’ Flounders & Robert Pissed-on, if you have to talk about it, But most of all you have got to lead the narrative to that sacred topic, Evil, Nasty Tory CUTS.

That’s better, we’re back on message. Goodnight.

Unemployment “soars”  – 80,000 on 2.5m : + 3%, for the quarter ending July (errr, School-leavers with no qualifications?)

As everyone other than the CommonPurpose robots installed in the Media knows (“It’s the cuts, dontcha know?”), you have to look at the change in the corresponding figures for the numbers in employment. We know huge numbers of jobs have gone to incoming migrants from Eastern Europe and Africa. The jobs available are being taken by newcomers, nothing to do with “Cuts” That’s just BBC/Guardian/Brendan Barber TUC spin.

Usually, unemployment goes up, but so does the number IN employment. No attempt at analysis to inform us what is actually going on, just red-flag waving by superannuated media luvvies, ” It’s The Cuts!! (don’t mention why cuts mght be necessary (qv. Gordon Brown?)

La BBC has found a novel turn of phrase to avoid blaming the Spanish Left for bankrupting a small town:

Spain town police on mass sick leave over unpaid wages

Almost the entire police force of a small town in southern Spain have gone on sick leave in a dispute over payments.

Fourteen policemen from Valverde del Camino say they are psychologically unfit for work after not receiving their salaries for four months.

    […]

There are only 13,000 residents in the town, in far south-western Spain.

But successive mayors there have run up a staggering $74m (£47m) in debt: that’s the most in the country per capita.

The true scale of the problem only emerged after local elections in spring, when power shifted to the opposition Popular Party for the first time in decades.

Where did the power shift from?

Why, from the Spanish socialist party of course, but nowhere in the entire report is mention made of them.

    Shhhh…

Oh and by the way this story, “Turkish PM pushes Palestine state” is in the Europe section.

Just as Al BBC has decided all of Palestine is illegally occupied (although Israel denies it), so has the nation’s broadcaster decided that Turkey is in Europe.

The BBC finally notices Marco Rubio, Hispanic, non-white, Republican Tea Party-supported new Senator from Florida.  They pretended he didn’t exist before the election last November, and have barely acknowledged his existence since then.  Now Katty Kay has deigned to speak with him.  Whatever she’s recorded will be on BBC World News American tonight, broadcast on a few regional PBS stations but no longer on BBC America.  I no longer have cable TV so won’t be watching, but I’ll try to find if it gets posted online later.

Her Twitter feed (hosted by the BBC, so there goes any excuse about the views being personal and not acting in her official capacity) also shows that she’s more honest about NY-09 than Mardell.  And as the daughter of a Foreign Office mandarin, she’s probably especially interested in that story about the end of Israel.

The bBC and how it edits the news before reorting it.
Woman arrested in Luton over 2010 Stockholm bombing
A 28-year-old woman has been arrested in Luton as part of an investigation into a suicide bombing in Sweden in December last year, Scotland Yard says. She was held on Tuesday on suspicion of the preparation of terrorist acts.

So the bBC reports on how a woman has been arrested (and then bailed) for helping a very peaceful person try to murder as many Swedes as possible. But don’t mention who it could be?  Here is how the wee Irish examiner reports the same story:
    Woman arrested over suicide bombing
The wife of a man who carried out a suicide bombing in Sweden last year has been arrested by police in Britain, it emerged today. It is understood Mona Thwany, the wife of Taimour Abdulwahab al-Abdaly who killed himself and injured two people in Stockholm in December, was arrested yesterday in Luton.

I wonder if it is the same Mona Thwany newsnight interviwed and allowed to promote the message that Islam is a relgion of peace and that she knew nothing about how her husband was willing to murder for Allah.

The same innocent women who i should add decided to upload to You-Tube her dead husbands pre bombing Jihad message over why he wanted to kill for Allah. Here is what she had to say on the subject 8 months ago.

Beware ‘moderate’ muslims bearing gifts. They are likely to, inexplicably, detonate. I have always preferred the words, ‘passive’ (for the time being), or, more accurately, ‘dormant’, as in awaiting the call. The only ‘moderates’ in this equation are those who have openly rejected Islam, at considerable risk to themselves, & much heartache within their family circle. People like the formidable, Ayaan Hirst Ali, who now requires round-the-clock protection – quite probably from ‘moderate’ muslims.
We all know that when push comes to shove, when the muslim critical mass reaches tip-over, us Kuffars will be engulfed by ‘moderation’. All the weasel words, the remorseless beeboid bigging-up of the ‘religion of pieces’ is but chaff on the breeze. The stark facts, anathema to the BBC ‘narrative’, show us precisely what we are up against: a totalitarian, cruel, wilfully backward, supremacist political ideology, masquerading as a dovelike religion of enlightenment. Beeboids are a lethal combination of gullibility, wish-fulfillment fantasies, death wish/self-loathing &, in far too many cases, downright wickedness: fully paid-up agents of chaos. They have been exceptionally well-trained.
Even if the band of the central Birmingham mosque began playing Greensleeves every morning, just before Today began polluting the airwaves, it could never gloss over the relentless flow of muslim barbarity & intolerance. One, of so many, remains with me – the execution of an Afghan teacher by the Taliban; for daring to teach girls.
How long before we hear the call, rising up from the dachas of Beeboid-Guardianista, for a ‘moderate’ member of the Taliban to be ‘enabled’ to stand proudly at the Cenotaph, come Remembrance Sunday. It’s only a matter of time.

Amazing how the BBC censored all news of the John Edwards sex scandal – while he was still a candidate for office – for months, and they censored all news of Weiner’s scandal until he stepped down from office, but they immediately leap to tell you about Sarah Palin, who holds no office and is not a candidate.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/heartsoul

…and you know immediately, and correctly that this will be a puff piece on fluffy, friendly Islam.

However the thing about this episode that really got my goat was the featuring of Lauren Booth as a muslim convert. As with all muslims on the BBC, certain contexts and facts are hidden as the sister explains her wonderful conversion and spiritual highs worshipping Allah.

What the BBC didn’t tell you was that as a muslim, our sister works as a mouthpiece for the foul antisemitic Iranian regime via Press TV, nor do they tell us that at a rally in London she had called for the destrtuction of the Jewish state:

“It is time, Brothers and Sisters, for Al Quds to be liberated. For Islam and people of the world who wish to pray there to the one God. And we say here today to you Israel, we see your crimes and we loathe your crimes. And to us your nation does not exist, because it is a criminal injustice against humanity. We want to see Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt go to the borders and stop this now. Liberate Al Quds! March to Al Quds!”

Can you imagine in your wildest dreams anyone from the political right with such a record being given such access to the BBC airwaves?

If you can bare it. Here’s Red Ed doing the keynote speech to the TUC conference. Democracy in action. Hopefully the picture will show it – otherwise pause on the wide angled shot (1.15) expand it and spot the TUC member. My guess the rows are about 10-12 seats, there are 3 maybe 4 rows. Lets be charitable and say a couple of rows out of shot and a couple of people strangely position directly ahead maybe to make the crowd look bigger. Most people seem have cameras/recording devices and these outnumber the comrades.

  29. David Preiser (USA) says:

Terrible hand-wringing piece on the descendants of Polynesian Mormon immigrants to Utah by German Beeboid Franz Strasser.  He’s a fairly recent immigrant to the US himself, being hired by the BBC and assigned here not long after a stint at a Florida university.  His first assignment was a dishonest series about immigration. (See here and here, and I made other comments about it on those and other open threads during that same couple weeks).

Here, he explains how Polynesians are still having trouble finding their way, and it’s not their fault.   The white Mormons have exploited them for football teams, and otherwise they become dropouts and gang leaders, apparently.  There is no discussion about what was happening within the community for previous generations.

All we hear is that, for a long time, football was “the only ticket off the island”.  That’s not the fault of whites in Utah, but Strasser presents it that way.  In fact, the warrior mentality is celebrated.  All part of their wonderful culture, innit, must be respected.

When we finally get to a high school, we’re told by a Polynesian woman that her people will refuse to deal with white teachers until the whites reach out and earn their respect outside of the classroom.  And that, apparently, is the fault of the whites, and not a flaw in the island culture passed on to children.

Once again we get a Beeboid telling us that only whites are fault when non-whites have trouble integrating.  Strasser isn’t walking around in Teutonic gear with a beard and pony tail. But it’s perfectly fine if non-whites maintain their own culture at the expense of joining civilization.  The Polynesians have no responsibility at all, according to Strasser.

Another BBC piece telling you that any failure of immigration is due to the locals, not the immigrants.

Here’s a little unintended insight into the minds of Beeboids:

Apple drops ‘Jew or not Jew’ app in France

A nice Jewish boy developed a fun little iPhone app called “Jew or not Jew” for people to look up celebrities to see who’s Jewish or not. It’s an old favorite pasttime of Jews everywhere.  But some anti-racism agitators in France got Apple to ban it anyway, claiming it was illegal to compile data of people without their permission, particularly religious affiliation.  Spoilsports.

So Apple had to ban the app in France based on a legal technicality.  That’s not the BBC’s fault, and there’s nothing biased about them reporting it.  The very last line, though, is very revealing of the BBC mindset.

For some bizarre reason, some BBC News Online sub-editor decided they must provide balance.  It’s like if there’s any news story connected to Jews, they must make room for a bit about Muslims, just to show there’s no favorites.  So the last line is this:

In June, Apple had to remove an Arabic-language application from its App Store called ThirdIntifada, after Israel said it incited violence.

WTH?  This isn’t the same thing at all!  Intifada is specifically about causing harm, while the “Jew or not Jew” thing is meant for Jews to entertain themselves.  Why is this even mentioned?  Is there some dopey Beeboid who thinks they need to show that Apple isn’t anti-Semitic because they ban Muslim apps as well?  Does the News Online child think this is an equivalent?

I honestly can’t figure out what this is doing here.  All I can think of is that they’re so intellectually twisted when it comes to the Jewish Issue that even little silly things like this cause them to over-react in bizarre ways.

Having read Paul’s blog I’m not really convinved Piers or indeed anyone had much success. If Piers had gone further and predicted a washout of a summer (which he shied away from) then I think that would have been a good solid win. As it is, not convinved. But still there’s supposed to be a more scientific, longer term testing of all this so we shall see.
(Although I find it extraordinary that Piers can accurately predict weather based on what the sun will do. I mean that takes forecasting and applies it to not one but two complex systems to get a result. With the earthquake stuff and a lack of detail about his methods and some goalpost moving on the website, well it doesn’t fill me with confidence)
My prediction for the autumn and winter by the way is changeable, with localised extreme weather events and no snow on Christmas day.

Template for all BBC news bulletins

SELECT part of a set of financial results from a company (preferably choose a big name such as a high street retailer). Demonstrate a fall in sales over a recent period. (Ignore the fact that there might be structural problems in that industry eg. the company’s format may be outmoded / people may simply now be buying on-line).
EXTRAPOLATE the gloom to suggest coalition economic policy is doomed.

PUBLICISE a trades union or interest group in the public sector (preferably the NHS) calling for more spending in their particular sector. IMPLY there is overall a background of current swingeing cut backs in spending.

(If you have to) TACKLE a report on European economic difficulties. Do this as though there were nothing inherently wrong with the concept of the Euro (that is a given) and PRESENT the idea that only further integration is the answer to all difficulties.

PICK UP a report from some UN agency (or internationally orientated charity) that criticises some aspect of UK society (be careful to call it ‘consumer’ society or even better ‘capitalist’ society). Do stress the Britishness of the problem and above all ignore any recent multicultural complications here. ELEVATE the message and its source as though they were inherently correct.

(For some light relief) TRUMPET the headline of a call from some right of centre group for a turning back the clock measure. (Debate potential here). There may be a majority of the population in favour of this idea so see to it that this is handled carefully. Bring in the professional left of centre talking heads to point out how it is all outmoded thinking and presenters can join in to RIDICULE the idea and DEMONISE those behind it. If you have to you might consider getting in a cabbie to present the case in favour.

Above all on every issue that comes up leave the message in the listeners mind that ‘something must be done’. – By more government spending, setting up some quango or central legistalion that is – never by individual action!
