  1. Maturecheese says:

Please, not Billy F,ing Bragg. We can expect Absolute verbal diarrhoea from that muppet.  Who actually buys his music??

  2. A Libertarian Rebel says:

As the Troubador of The People now apparently lives in isolated rural splendour in SW England, no doubt he’s be giving us the benefit of how closely in touch he is wiv da kidz on da street innit?

  3. David Preiser (USA) says:

I suspect most of his fans “share” it rather than buy it.

  4. cjhartnett says:

No doubt with a childrens choir to accompany him as they dig up Marleys bones to mack with “Get up Stand Up”….hope HMRC will arrest him for witholding his tax last year-he said he`d do that!
Do it live on the show…then I`d watch the mushrooms mooching about nasty Tories etc!

  5. randomviewer says:

Billy fecking Bragg? On the hypocrisy stakes he beats moneybags ToyBee and her career ranting about the rich. Or maybe not. Where the balance on the panel tonight? Stupid question.

  6. John Horne Tooke says:

They are at the Conservative Party Conference yet the BBC still cannot find an elected MP to stick on their panel.

    • John Horne Tooke says:

An elected “Conservative”  MP that is. No one voted for Bragg, Warsi or that Sun journalist. So there seems to be a democratic deficit tonight.

    • Roland Deschain says:

Is it that the BBC won’t invite them or that they’re getting wise and won’t go on?

Oh, hang on, I used “wise” when referring to Conservative MPs.  Scrub that comment.

  7. John Horne Tooke says:

“The international community must seize the “massive opportunity” of the spread of democracy in the Arab Spring, David Cameron has told the UN.”

Does Cameron actually know what the word “democracy” means? Listen to him here:

“David Cameron calls for Egyptian democracy”

“The European Union has supremacy over British Law. 80 per cent of Britain’s laws are now made in Brussels and Parliament has no power to reject or amend them” – Peter Lilley.

Cameron is a hypocrite. I wonder if China made the laws for Egypt he would call that democracy?

  8. ian says:

I wonder if Bragg actually GIVES any of his wealth to deserving causes as such? Probably as much as his fellow left wing gob Bob Geldof, who after raising a fortune for the tsunami victims…didn’t send them a penny.

  9. Andrew says:

said it all for me when I saw when one of the clapping seals applauding his own comment

    • Demon1001 says:

      Who, someone in the audience?

      • Andrew says:

Yes, I can’t recall what he was talking about and he mentioned something and audience members started clapping and because it was a wide shot you could see he too began clapping.  Funniest thing I’ve seen on the beeb in a long time.
