Biased BBC contributor Graeme Thompson writes;
“Is this an impartial BBC journalist engaging Republican nomination candidate Rick Santorum, or a sneering, jeering Obama supporter trying to lob custard pies at him?
The gentleman in question is Newsnight’s Peter Marshall, which, to anyone familiar with his ouvre, may feel the above question already answered. For the record, I do think Mr Santorum’s comments as reported are ‘off beam’, shall we say, but Mr Marshall’s approach is, as ever, that of left wing antagonist.
I will never forget Mr Marshall’s propaganda pieces on Newsnight on behalf of Al Qa’eda in the wake of 7/7. The man is an obscenity on legs. B-BBC has recorded for posterity an exchange Stephen Pollard had with him over his shilling for Al Q’aeda (scroll down the link). While the BBC insists on employing such overt and odious left-wing antagonists as – cough, cough – ‘journalists’, it’s clear just how deep institutional left-wing bias runs at the BBC.”
But what was the odious Peter Marshall doing in Iowa anyway? Could it be he is working on a sequel to this:

He needs “moments” for his documentary. Seems like he just manufactured one with Santorum.
The added advantage of his 2012 project is that this time he needs no pretence of balance in his film as President Zero is unopposed.

Good point!
i`ve already noted Mardell, Dymond and Robbins talking from over there I thingk!
How many Beeboids does it take to mock the mid-West before scooting back to the Beltway to enjoy the best that the greatest country on earth has to offer…ever to the weevils in the biscuit.
Why the Americans don`t do us all a favour and stop them at Logan etc as a threat to national security is ,in my view; tolerance taken way too far!
Could only reduce our licence fees if the USA would have them doing their sneering in some place like Sind or Qom instead.

Apparently in the world of gay activism “Santorum” means something very disgusting associated with anal sex. I know this because BBC producer John Shields sent a tee-hee tweet about it. As did BBC Gaza correspondent Jon Donnison, and also eco-lefty World Service journalist Piers Scholfield.
As I said in the open thread in relation to Kate Dailey RT-ing a comment about Santorum “pimping his disabled daughter”, BBC hacks are using their Palin playbook once again. Attacks on the family, disgusting innuendo – it’s all fair game where Republicans are concerned.

Most of the Stephen Pollard links have fallen off the web. Here is a link via the WBM.

FOOTNOTE: two characters B-BBC readers may not know are mentioned in the DB post above.
“BADLER” is BEN ADLER. He works for the leftie US magazine “The Nation”. He was identified as a member of Journolist – an email group of approximately 400 “progressive” and socialist journalists, academics and “new media” activists. JournoList members reportedly coordinated their messages in favor of Barack Obama and the Democrats, and against Sarah Palin and the Republican Party. JournoList was founded in 2007 and was closed down in early 2010. (http://www.thenation.com/authors/ben-adler)
KATE DAILEY is a senior articles editor at Newsweek and contributor to the leftie website The Daily Beast. Here’s one of her greatest hits: “The (Roman Polanski’s) crime was 30 years ago! He’s been living on the run ever since. Hasn’t he been punished enough?”
The Left (and the Twitteratti of BBC) is lining Santorum up for the Palin treatment. Its interresting that its THESE people the BBC people are retweeting. Keep monitering, DB.

Just so there’s no confusion – the above description relates to Dailey’s previous job. She now works for the BBC, and has done so for some time.

Correct. Thanks for the clarification, DB.

It is clear that the JournOList continjues – at least in loose form.
At the time the List gave a good idea of the names of leftie journos etc in the US. If the BBC was properly independent, it would ensure that any comments from a “JournOLista” were matched by someone from the right.
And anyway – After a caucus election for the Repub nomination, shouldn’t the BBC be turning mostly to Rerpub journos for comments – there are plenty of srticles out there they could quote.
Oh sorry. The BBC doesn’t read any right-wing stuff. Real truth flows only from the New York Times, Washington Ppost and Huffington Post.
