That was a very odd BBC report. I suppose I must believe it after all it is the BBC. Curiously lacking in detail. The EDL really do frighten them. Out here in the shire I live in the EDL is getting a lot of quiet support. The English way of doing things.

Likewise out here in rural Surrey and Hampshire.

The ruling elite have always been petrified of the real working class, and, to them, white male working-class is a triple negative!

They’re OK with middle class students and dole scroungers who dress up in costumes and pretend to be working class whilst smashing up town centres, but the real thing puts the fear of Christ in to them:

Simon Hughes issues warning over benefits cap – http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-16560571

Would have been nice if the article had quoted someone who argued why, in their view, the benefit cap was a good idea, rather than devoting the entire article to the views of Mr Hughes.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez speculated last month that the US might have used a secret weapon to give Latin American leaders cancer, as the number of them with the disease was “difficult to explain using the laws of probabilities” – but is it? – http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-16545513

I can’t believe that the BBC have actually written an article to examine such a crackpot theory!

    Completely off topic…

If you’re in the mood for something toe-curlingly embarrassing – even more so than an Ed Miliband relaunch, have a look at this pro-EU video over at Mark Wallace’s site. The brainwashing of the Hitler Youth and the North Korean Worshippers comes to the EU – in full scale, all-singing-all-dancing glory. Someone needs to tell the people behind this tripe that this kind of thing only works in societies whose people no longer think for themselves.

    WARNING! – Prepare for Facepalm…

HS2: BBC-NUJ misses out the European Union connection.

    Christopher BOOKER doesn’t:

“The continent is the final destination for HS2.

“The London to Birmingham high-speed rail link is part of a Europe-wide scheme dreamed up Jacques Delors back in 1993. ”

For BBC-NUJ: comments on the English Defence League.

“Running scared of the English Defence League

“‘We talk about apathy, then these guys get into politics and we shit ourselves.’ The author of a new report on the EDL talks to spiked.”

That report was from Demos which is very leftwing so the fear the elite has of the ordinary Englishman is beginning to surface in the heartland of leftism. Reality strikes again.

The entire “Demos” report is in the link below…..And let us remember that “Demos” themselves, are yet another left wing quango started up by the Infamous Julia Middleton of “Common Purpose” notoriety.

What I struggle to understand, is that the “Demos” report doesn’t wish to see the EDL banned, and yet the inglorious UAF/Hope now Hate spew that particular line with violent relish….However, the UAF especially, fight Julia Middleton’s corner Internet wide, on the subject of common Purpose.

Is there duplicity afoot in good comrade utopia?

BBC 3’s “Most Annoying People 2011” has just started off revealing they’re including David Cameron and “phone hackers”.  Besides the obvious political bias there, are the phone hackers really annoying to anyone besides luvvies?  One may think that they are morally reprehensible, but that is not enough to make them annoying, especially if you have no contact with them.  As of right now they’re regurgitating the bizarre ITV ‘Cheryl Cole is a National Treasure’ line.

Well, what can I expect from a channel that preceded this with the awful Lindsay Lohan Herbie film?

Also, Mark Duggan is now merely a ‘single father’ and it’s David Cameron’s fault that he was on holiday when the riots started.

BBC-NUJ is more than a little optimistic about the economic prospects of an ‘independent Scotland in the European Union’ (an oxymoron):

“What would happen to Scotland’s economy after independence?”

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-16548644

    Peter Hitchens has this*:

“A free Scotland? No, it’s being fed into the Euro-blender”

*Hitchens also has critique of Thatcher film; and he puts the case for low-speed rail.

Andrew Harding finds this article provocative…and recommends to his twitter fans.

His choice…the article assumes the the tea-party has been replaced by the 99% probably finds his favour.

    I find the assumptions trite.

    Arab Spring …Good

    Tea Party ….Bad

First few lines makes it clear why the reference appeals to Beeboid Andrew H.

Frankie Boyle gets a free hit at the Telegraph with his “open letter” to the BBC about their “cowardice” vs his distictly toxic blatherings – they’ve disabled comments – looks like more cowardice from here.

I was looking forward  to a pinprick comment on this “edgy” P-O-S – about as funny as Anthrax.
