I’ve been waiting to see how the BBC would cover the recent missile terror attacks on Israel from Hamastan and finally, this morning, the BBC Today programme deigned to cover it @ 8.21am Naturally, Humphrys instantly suggested that Israel was to blame by impertinently striking against the Islamic terrorists that operate freely within Gaza. Then we had an interview, if you can it that, with Dr Aryeh Kontorovich who lives in Beersheva in southern Israel and Dr Mona El-Farra, vice president of the Red Crescent in Gaza. Basically Dr Mona was allowed to ramble on and on, without interruption. One wonders how the BBC can dare to suggest that the Red Crescent is some sort of neutral charity providing organisation after the semi coherent propaganda spouted by El-Farra. It doesn’t matter what the situation is – when it comes to the BBC, Israel is ALWAYS to blame. Now, why might that be, do you think?

The BBC Today item on Gaza was disgraceful.It requires a special skill by now well honed to match a relatively inarticulate Israeli with an articulate Gazan who skillfully misrepresented the situation. Why did no one from Humphries to the Israeli Embassy in London subsequently correct tha Gazan doctor’s statement that that there had been no rockets from Gaza fired into Israel since last September?
Without turning into Craig, I found the respective speaking times as follows:.

During Dr. Kontorovich’s two minutes, Humphrys managed to ask four questions including one statement:
“This started at the weekend, Friday? Things had been quiet since September?”
To which Dr. Kontorovich replied:
“In Be’ersheba, but I must stress that rockets have been falling continuously on Israel, but at a low intensity”
Humphrys ignored this, repeating:
“This (intensity) has been as a direct result of attacks on Gaza on Friday morning.”
Dr Kontorovich seemed upset and flustered, while Dr El-Farra let forth a continual stream of invective, alternately accusatory and self pitying. She was allowed to digress, uninterrupted, apart from an interjection by Humphrys “Sorry, the line isn’t terribly good (it was fine) if I can perhaps explain what was you’re saying. The car carrying this man described as a militant leader, that was attacked form the air…”
Mona El-Farra re-interrupted back, and continued by denying, twice, that there have been any rocket attacks from Gaza.
“let me tell you that for the last four months there were no rockets against Israel and Palestinians respected the cease-fire.”
“It is not a war between two equal parties, Israel with its very strong army attacking a group of militia, many that have been confined to the cease-fire for the last four months. This time Israel started [it]. I will not talk more about this.”
She was allowed to digress, completely uninterrupted for a further minute or two, listing everything lacking in Gaza, and she evaded the one significant point that Humphrys put to her, which was that if the rocket attacks from Gaza were to cease, there would be no raids into Gaza by Israel. The nearest she got to addressing that point was to say she didn’t approve of rocket attacks.
This interview was typically incompetent and misleading.

There is a long history of Pally-propaganda emanating from “doctors” and “medics” as spokesmen. bBC are forever quoting them on the supposed authority lent to a statement if it comes from a “doctor”. These “hospitals” are as much militant bases and propaganda centres as places for the sick.
Stage Performer Maitlis just asked a Beeboid reporter “what started” all of this fighting between Israel and Gaza. Answer: It all started when Israel staged a pre-emptive attack.
Lie. No meniton at all of the rockets from Gaza which preceeded this. Geoff Watts seems to have stated the BBC editorial policy on this issue: rocket attacks on Israel are so common they are not news. It’s news only when Israel hits back.
There can be no question of BBC bias against Israel.
Every single BBC report – including every time they go back to the studio for the latest update – mentions not only that two children in Gaza were killed by an Israeli attack but that another “schoolboy” died, but the circumstances of his death are “unclear”. Yet they report it anyway as part of this story, openly tying his death to Israel, even though they have no evidence whatsoever.
The BBC will report rumors as news if it suits their agenda. Defenders of the indefensible will remain silent.
If only there was a report into the BBC’s bias or otherwise on Middle East matters, then the BBC could publish it and pove that they were not anti-Israel…
The BBC’s failure to publish the Balen report speaks volumes.
In regards to the bbC’s reporting of the situation between Israel and Gaza here is how the bBC reports:
Israel launches fresh air strikes on Gaza
Israeli air strikes have pounded Gaza for a second day, in the worst violence in the region for almost a year. Palestinian sources said at least 15 militants had been killed in the two days of fighting. Israel says almost 100 rockets fired from Gaza have struck Israel since the exchange of fire began. The US condemned the rocket attacks, calling them “cowardly”, while the Arab League called the Israeli air strikes “a massacre”. The UN and the European Union have expressed concern and appealed for calm.
Notice how the bBC clearly befuddles the story line in which to people not in the know, the impression given above is that, Israel pounded the Muslims with over 100 rockets. There is no clear cut dividing line and the bBC uses this practice of confusing the reader in which to paint the vision that Islamic terrorists can only be victims.
So lets look at the bBCs terminology for reporting here.
7 Airstrikes by Israel against targets in Gaza is a pounding , meanwhile over 100 (actually bBC it was 180) Grad rockets fired from inside Gaza by Islamic terrorists and that is reported as ‘Struck’
Yup the bBC loves to up twist things up when it comes to reporting about ‘Allahs’ little helpers, who while trying to kill as many people as possible are continually made out to be…victims.

Something else the BBC is careful to omit is the number of Hamas rockets that fall in Gaza. These could be the ones the BBC and the Arabs claim are damaging houses and killing children.

I nearly died laughing at the choice words the bBC jew-haters struggled to find to describe the consequences of Hamas missiles striking an Israeli woman. She suffered “moderate injuries” Not extremist injuries, not injuries of randomly murderous intent, but “moderate ” ones. Like being punched by a Liberal Democrat MP, Or one wound short of a set of “conservative injuries”
Those Hamas rockets must be toy ones stuffed with cotton wool. Is this news reporting or an episode of Postman Pat?

Turns out it was from 2006, and the child was actually injured falling off a swing.
You can just imagine the BBC quoting her as a source with – ‘According to the UN Coordination of Human Affairs…(insert bullshit here’.
