The Narcissist-in-Chief. How the BBC would’ve mocked that if Bush had done it. Instead there will be nothing.

Yes, coming to a town near you soon. Or even your town?…It’s on the way good folks.
All the superior thinking people you elected know better than you do. Just think about capital punishent for instance. A clear majority of us would approve it under certain circumstances, but the folk we elect know better than us and won’t ever reintroduce it. Done deal.
They know better than us plebs.
That’s their view of course and it’s shite. Thats not my idea of democracy but thats what we have.
So equally well they “know” that we are unthinking racists, blindly following the likes of Nick and tommy, but one day, just one day the carnage will become so great they wont be able to cover it up. It WILL happen across europe…
      Rivers of blood and all!
Treacherous bastards the lot of them……Just remember Dave Cameron wants another 80 miilion Turks wandering willy nilly across a borderless EU, heading for the wonderful promised land of benefits and dhimmified brits.
      Get the message out somehow.

I see another Muslim has been jailed for his penchant for little girls. in Carlisle.

I see the bBC video story plays the racist remarks angle. But what is most disturbing is how yet another girl who reported this to the police (3 years before his arrest) saw nothing transpire. Any half decent News agency would be asking questions to why police have been turning a blind eye to Islamic paedophiles. (I see the bBC refrains from calling these people that) But the bBC doesn’t

The bBC, the traitors in our Midst.

Credit should be awarded where it is due:

Songs of Praise is to remain Christian despite calls for it to be turned it into a multifaith programme, the BBC’s first Muslim head of religion has pledged.

Well done for this man, Aaqil Ahmed, for standing up to unnecessary calls for “reform”. Surely another program would be more appropriate as it would be a shame to change something many of the older generation have enjoyed for donkeys.

      Tokenism.

INBBC’s head of religion, Muslim Mr Aaqil Ahmed, tells British licencepayers that ‘Songs of Praise’ can remain, for now…

      The bigger picture:-
When will Mr Ahmed be commissioning the next BBC TV series for Islam by a Muslim from Al Jazeera such as Rageh Omaar?

Have just been listening to radio 3’s essay which this week is all about the attitude to Shakespeare Tonight it was Iran and the Iranian went on at great length that the thing most of her countrymen related to , in the playwright, was his pre-occupation with the concept of honour. At one point she even mentioned that it could be connected to sex in some instances and Iranians find the plot of Othello something with which the find it very easy to relate! She could have mentioned honour killings since she was practically on the topic – but didn’t.

For the record; “Article 220 of the Iranian Criminal Code states: “If a father –or his male ancestors– kill their children, they will not be prosecuted for murder.” – that’s pure sharia and would presumably be the judgment handed down in a British sharia court.
Honour killings are, of course, a problem in Iran, as they are in almost all muslim countries.

        For the record:

But speaking to an audience invited by the Catholic Communications Network in London he said it was “childish” to think that religion was being cut back on the BBC.

Religious output on the BBC had risen under his tenure to 600 hours of radio a year and 170 hours on television, he said.

170 hrs on television eh? I don’t mean to sound cynical but there are only 52 weeks in the year. So there are around 3 hrs of religious programmes on TV each week. The Average length of a show is about half an hour. So that is 6 religious shows a week! If that were the case most people would find that religious overload. Methinks he might be exaggerating or do they just keep repeating those documentaries about Paedophile Priests.

‘Calls for it to be turned into a multifaith programme’???
Reading the article it appears that a Sikh producer is the only one that ‘calls’ for such a thing, and it sounds like he was just raising the possibility.

      So why is it news?

Could it be that in the wake of the article by Rev Peter Mullen yesterday the BBC wants to show its a staunch defender of Christianity after all?

So all they’re really saying is that it’s business as usual – and this is news.
Surprised at the Telegraph for running this tripe.

Beyond the BBC, the actions of most public sector money pits conern me.
And through personal experience, few more than our NHS ‘care’ industry, and specifically the risible oversight quangos, up to and including Minister level morons.
    Of any political hue.
So I perk up when I get a confluence of the two..

Beyond the weaseling ‘reporting’ of ‘Labour figures suggest..’ (I bet they do, and get a free ride to ‘suggest them 24/7), there seems NO hint that whatever dire situation the current crop are getting our elder care into, the whole sorry shebang was made 13 years worse by… the BBC’s main PR client.

I’m listening to the Today program with the well rounded, balanced, and sane Guy Verhofstadt (fondly known as Harry Potter) singing the praises of the EU and arguing for more fiscal union to save Greece. (Have a look at some of his speeches in the EU such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNMi8wI-enM)

There’s nothing more satisfying than listening to a balanced politician – one that clearly loves the UK (see youtube) being interviewed and having an easy ride on our flagship national broadcaster, the BBC.

There was no balance to this interview – I would of liked to hear an alternate view from an Euro-skeptic – mentioning no names…
