You Couldn’t Make It Up But It Seems They Might Have To.

In the run up to the 2010 election the BBC decided to give Gordon a boost by giving him an uplifting appraisal  and  testimony, unfortunately it seems that his legacy is somewhat uncertain.

But then again the BBC has always been keen to pretend that 13 years of Labour Party economic, social and constitutional destruction never happened.

I’ve not been impressed by this blog since David went on holiday, it’s mainly consisted of rehashed stories from newspapers and other blogs.  This was published two years ago, and in any case the page in question was only online for a few hours.  If we’re going to have a go at the beeb for sloppiness we might as well not be sloppy ourselves.  More:  http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/theeditors/2010/05/what_is_gordon_browns_legacy.html

      Who’s this ‘We’ then?

The post was blindingly obviously an attempt at humour to keep things light as needed every now and again.

Whilst the ‘old ones’ are often the best…clearly they are not to your taste….but I note you’re still reading the blog and were moved enough to actually dig up an ancient BBC story to try and counter the post….which is good…it means the blog is working and getting under the thick skin of the arrogant, overbearing and unaccountable BBC types.

Unlike the BBC we thrive on criticism and take note of it and respond positively.

You can be certain we will be endeavouring to dig out even more examples of BBC bias just to keep you happy RW&B.

‘in any case the page in question was only online for a few hours’
To clarify. This BBC page went up and then was quickly ‘disappeared’, and you are less concerned with the circumstances of that than announcing the failure of a blog forum to impress you? On the basis of ‘old stuff’ not being relevant, as the BBC still continues to ‘select’ aspects of the Brown years post his Leveson outing?
      Full marks for ‘unique’, there.

The modding before closing is rather spectacular, so tx for the highlight on how propaganda backed by censorships not only would look, but already does. All at just a compelled £145.50pa (no refunds).

Maybe the reason why “we” find ourselves getting all antsy at the BBCs parade of causes and limp tissues that they put on their baggage carousel….is because of that precisely.
Every Beeboid issue seems to be timed to come round on the baggage carousel, regulare as clockwork. No one picks up their damned stories but themselves…but back they come again soon after in the hope we may yet care more THIS time.
Care of the old?…assisted dying….NHS reforms…school building funds…human rights of some terrorist or bogus refugee…devolution,…anti Israel/Republican yarns?…all before our eyes like the toys on the Generation Game conveyor belt that no one wants…yet we`ll be seeing them again with a bigger wheelchair, larger tears and more ululations/minute next time.
      Until we emote on cue.
So Mr Blue…that`s why we react the same way-when the BBC change their script and totem poles, they we`ll find other cases to maon about…but we pay for their liberal pellets and leavings and we`re a bit sick of it…if that`s OK with you!

Take a look at the comments in the link RW&B posted. BBC
mods had to lay waste, allowing through only 2 of 74, both of which show some support for Brown. In it’s own little little way, it marks Brown’s legacy.

What is Brown’s legacy? I shall make a start and hope you other good people can add to it; Destruction of the private sector pension schemes while expecting said people to fund the gold-plated public sector ones…….. Selling off the gold at a low rate………Connivance in the wholesale introduction into Britain of millions of immigrants……….and of course, ending the 25 year rolling exemption of road tax, dear to my heart as of countless vintage and classic vehicle owners, BRING IT BACK. Please add more to his ‘legacy’. Toodle pip.

Council tax doubled. TV licence (aka BBC tax) nearly doubled. Introduction of carbon emission based road tax (doubling/tripling – use your own multiplier). Stripping B of E of its supervisory role. Turning a blind eye (pun intended) to profligate bank lending to fund his economic ‘boom’. Creating 1 million public sector jobs (100,000 during the recession when the private sector was contracting). Increasing public sector pay way over inflation rates. Borrowing, when the economy was tanking, to fund schemes such as fruit allowance for pregnant women and the child trust fund giveaway (child will end up paying it back threefold at some stage of its life). Failing to invest in the country’s road, rail, water, airport infrastructure. Putting ‘road safety’ ahead of road repairs. Self-appointed architect of ‘no more boom and bust’.
In fact you stop, look around you and think: exactly what did we get for this £1 trillion debt?
The list is endless – so endless, in fact, you begin to think he was out deliberately to bring the country to its knees.

And I will add the invention of working tax credits, pension credits and whatever else credits making so much of the population part of the client state, meaning nobody does a few extra hours for a bit of extra money, because it isn’t worth it.

Yes but all these tax credits and working credits allows for more administration and therefore more state workers. all hail the state.

Look at the front page of the BBC(right top)
    Magazine

How the 2002 bombings made one angry survivor ‘more humane
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/

The actual article is not biased, but who is so insane as to write such a headline. Claiming that the bombing made a survivor more humane.

      Seems to have ‘evolved’ already?

Possibly to make way for this totally factual way of of sharing information in an accuracy-fitting manner:
PM ducks Gary Barlow tax question NEW
The ‘question’ coming by all accounts, from the BBC’s unofficial sole PR client, Labour, all uniquely funded by…us.
