BBC Football page still obsessing over Terry, but no space for today’s developments, with Ferdinand disgracefully dissembling over his tweeting about Cole’s “choc ice” nature. Claiming that a term widely accepted as meaning “brown on the outside but white inside” actually means something entirely different, irrelevant & not racist

I see Sky manage a name check for the delightful Mohammed, Surin, Ali and Abdul who have been nicked for… Well, it’s a straight toss-up, isn’t it?

Curiosly the Beeb are sticking to the word ‘men’; not even a mention of hirsuteness or otherwise.

I’m sure there’s a good reason, though, eh David?

Four Men Charged Over Alleged Abduction

Four men have been charged with offences relating to the alleged abduction of a 13-year-old girl, according to Suffolk Police.

Police have issued a statement confirming the arrests.

They said Mohamed Sheikh, a 31-year-old of Seaton Point in London, has been charged with a child abduction offence and with possession of a controlled drug.

Surin Uddin, a 28-year-old of St Matthews Row in London, has been charged with two counts of rape against a girl under the age of 16 and one child abduction offence.

Ali Hamza, a 38-year-old of Chingford Road in London, has been charged with sexual assault and a child abduction offence.

Abdul Hammed, a 46-year-old of Wellington Street in Ipswich, has also been charged with two counts of rape against a girl under the age of 16 and one child abduction offence.

The men are due to face Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

The BBC studiously avoids naming them – that would be a dead giveaway!

It is always said by some, that the INBBC only leaves out the names due to following court reporting procedures, perhaps they have some inside info on what happened here.

Perhaps somebody from the BBC, like David Gregory, would be kind enough to explain to us why the BBC has chosen to censor the names?

Egyptian TV airs slow beheading of Tunisian Muslim who converted to Christianity

How’s that Arab Spring working out for you now, BBC? Still, as long as the Egyptians finally stand up to Israel’s tyranny, no need to frown at this like you do every time the US thinks about executing a murderer, right?

No mention of this on any BBC web page at the time of this writing. And I expect there won’t be any time soon.
