I have known about it for sometime, but this EU inspired con is now definitely going ahead. I wondered when the bBC would expose this EU scam, of us being fleeced again.

Most of this money is going on connecting wind farms that are miles away from where people live, even though the wind farms supply very little electricity to the grid and it is a hidden extra cost that makes wind energy even less cost effective.

The article does not specifically mention the £12B ‘smart meter’ project. All of our meters are to be replaced, and because it is ‘good’ for us. The EU has allowed the utilities to put the cost on us.

The bBC and its daily Anti_Israeli spot
First Gaza families visit jailed relatives in Israel
Palestinian families from Gaza have have been allowed to visit their jailed relatives in Israel for the first time in five years. A group of 40 people crossed from Gaza into southern Israel en route to Ramon prison.Israel agreed to the move in May as part of deal to end a mass hunger strike by Palestinian detainees. Family visits were halted in 2007 after the militant Islamist group Hamas came to power in Gaza.

So according to the bBC, the racist hooked nosed jews ojected to the formation of a democratically elected terrorist outfit and as only the blood sucking jews can decided to ban the families of terrorists from crossing the border in which to visit their peace loving ilk.

Here is how the Palestinian Ma’an news agency reports the same story:
Gaza families visit jailed relatives in Israel
GAZA CITY (Ma’an) — Families in the Gaza Strip will visit relatives detained in Israeli jails on Monday for the first time since 2007, a prisoners group said….In 2007, Israel started limiting what it considers privileges for Hamas and Gaza prisoners in a bid to put pressure on Hamas to release Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, who was held in Gaza until last fall.

So actually the reason why Israel stopped the families of terrorists from crossing the border into Israel was to let them know they wanted them to know how the family of Gilad Shalit felt and they wouldn’t open the doors until he was released.

How the bBC opines about a £9 Billion kick to the UKs economy.

£9bn railway investment announced by coalition
A £9.4bn package of investment in the railways in England and Wales, including £4.2bn of new schemes, has been unveiled by the government.

So the Government is going to shove a load of money into the British railway system. Good news? nah not to the bBC who quote:
Shadow transport secretary Maria Eagle said: “We welcome this investment, it was actually first announced under the last Labour government… but this won’t help jobs and growth now, as there’s not going to be a penny spent until after 2014.”
    And
Bob Crow, general secretary of transport union the RMT, said: “What we need is investment in rail today not yet another political promise of jam tomorrow.”
    And
BBC political correspondent Robin Brant said Mr Cameron and Mr Clegg would present a “united front” over the railway investment. It comes after Conservative MP Graham Brady told the BBC he believed the coalition was “very likely” to end before the 2015 general election.

    And the Coup de grâce;
What is your reaction to the planned announcement? Would you benefit from any of the expected improvements? You can send us your views and experiences using the form below.

BBC Bias clear for anyone to see – Over the weekend, BBC headlline news was about the increasingly wonderful (New Messiah, being groomed for the next election) David Milliband speaking at some trade union bash up north. Minor criticism quoted from Baroness Warsi (note that her words were not broadcast) was immediately shot down by a host of enthusiastic left wing commentators. Today the good news of massive rail investment is freely mauled by the BBC and the left without any defence from the right.

I’m sure this has probably been noticed and posted (if so, sorry for repeating, been too busy to keep atop of everything) but did people spot the BBC’s utterly blatant advertising campaign for Ed Milliband a few days ago:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-18823657

I have never seen a news organisation (no matter how partisan they are or are not) put together such a blatant long-running campaign to take such a weak, ideologically-flawed person as EdM and try to create them into some kind of “saviour of the people” figure as the BBC have done since he became Labour leader. I don’t think bias can really go any further than this.

Somebody mentioned the bBCs take on the new figures on the British Population . Well if you click on the official gov publication you come across these salient snippets:
In terms of percentage increases, the local authorities with the largest growth in population
were Tower Hamlets and Newham in London. Manchester showed the third highest percentage
    growth in population since 2001

    and
there were 6.6 million births and 5.0 million deaths in England and Wales, leading to an increase in
the population of 1.6 million. This accounts for around 44 per cent of the total increase in population
size of 3.7 million between 2001 and 2011, with the remainder being due to migration.

Yup, a country which recorded a fairly stable population for over 40 years sees record growth (Think infrastructure) due to labours social experiment in which to cure all the worlds ills by importing every Achmed, Jan and Mohammed in which to make a coffee coloured people by the score

BEEBOIDS, CENSUS 2011, and MASS IMMIGRATION.

It’s official: 55% of population increase since 2001 is due to net immigration into England and Wales.

Even Beeboid ‘statistician’ EASTON had to admit that he under-estimated the total population figure by 500,000, due to underestimate of immigration figure.

      http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18838540

Of course, Easton and co avoid talking about Labour Government’s responsibility for this mass immigration; and like Census report, are happy to postpone revealing the presentday composition of the population, in terms of country of origin, ethnicity, religion, etc.

Of course, a more enlightened ‘liberal’ political analysis of the impact on mass immigration on UK and Europe is provided by Christopher Caldwell, whose book is subjected to critical analysis here:

Of course, as we all know from those who see themselves as the nation’s conscience on this topic i.e. every Lefty you can name who gets airtime on the BBC to ‘discuss’ it, immigrants bring a net economic benefit. That is despite their impact on infrastructure, the jobs they take necessitating continuing unemployment payments to the indigenous people, the money they send home, the welfare payments they get for their oversized families, the dependant relatives they bring into the country, not to mention those who come here but never do a day’s work etc.

To think the tax they pay covers all this and then a bit to spare to give us all a ‘benefit’! Bejazus, it’s the miracle economic model we’ve all been looking for!!

If this was more typical of the BBC broadcast content, I would not have a problem. As it is, this is low percentage stuff, just as the Christian slaughter in Nigeria and other hotbeds of Islamic activism are.

That the BBC chooses a Guardian journalist as their source should surprise no one. That their coverage is one-sided and dedicated to pushing a basic Palestinian meme of European Jews bad – African and Asian Jews good should be even less surprising. That the non European (aka Mizrahi, Oriental or Sephardi) Jews are just as if not more hostile to the Palestinian cause is a great disappointment. Perhaps their ethic cleansing from the Middle East and North Africa may be a contributing factor?

Things they missed. Nissren Kader is hardly the first Arab singer to be popular among the Jews in Israel. Samir Shukri had a huge hit with Rona, someone years back. Note he is singing in Hebrew but the Arab feel is strong.
[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3r6uZxsvYuU&version=3&hl=en_US%5D Mira Awad appeared on Eurovision in Moscow, representing Israel.

The story of Mizrahi music in Israel is fascinating and its success parallels the rise of the Mizrachim themselves. This report hardly does it justice.

However, the most insulting thing is the implication that the Jews have stolen Arab music. Ala Hlehel insists the music’s roots are Arabic. Talk about destroying a straw man. No one has ever denied it. The music arrived with the Jews expelled from the Arab countries. Early performers sang in Arabic. It was a later generation who sang in Hebrew and combined elements of Turkish, Arabic and Greek music for a unique Israel genre.

Could you imagine the outcry if white musicians were criticised for singing blues because of its African roots or Country and Western musicians for singing music with Scots/Irish roots? Would the BBC even dare to criticise a black musician playing Beethoven?

I can’t usually be bothered with Stephen ‘Haw Are Ye Naw’ Nolan, a man clearly with a keen relish for the pleasures of the table

    1. He has become Foster Father to Owen Shoutie and

    2. His modus operandi is ‘tragedy-mining’. To wit, interviewing someone who’s been smitten from on high, getting them to tell us all about it, hearing them start howling, driving them into the psycho ward, and then saying sagely, ‘Powerful radio dat dere so it was’.

He redeemed himself last night though.
Ahead of the Public Accounts Select Committee quizzing droids this week about tax-fiddling at the BBC, Nolan interviewed Zarin Patel, a dozy bint who’s been quota-filled into the position of BBC Chief Financial Officer. Nolan didn’t so much go for the jugular, as rip the jugular out, tie it round a beam in the roof of the studio, and string her up from it.

For her own part Patel made Chloe Smith under Paxman sound like JFK at the Berlin Wall.

The issue was the use of Personal Service Contracts by BBC ‘top talent’.

‘It is standard industry practice/ I don’t know/ I can’t talk about individuals/ you’ll have to ask the HMRC/ I don’t have these figures to hand/ everyone at the BBC pays the right amount of tax’

and on she wailed, I think from underneath the desk at this stage. Haw Are Ye Naw went for the big finish.

Nolan: Jeremy Paxman has been at the BBC for 44 years, can you name me one programme, one programme he has made for ITV?

    Dozy Quota-Filling Bint: No.

There you have it. Often commented on here how many decades it is possible to be employed by the BBC while not actually be employed by the BBC.

The ‘industry standard practice’ line is right up there with ‘a big boy did it and ran away’. BBC *is* the industry.

And as for paying ‘the right amount of tax’. Nice. So was Jimmy Carr.

The biter bit. BBC has put itself in the vanguard of the self-anointed Moral Taxpayers Alliance, and guess what, one rule for them, another rule for you.

How I love the truly rank smell of hypocrisy with my cocopops.

Conspicuous by its absence, this story, from news bulletins too. Here’s me thinking the BBC loves to talk about itself

Epic fail, lads. This is tax about avoidance. All credit to Nolan though.

Mark Easton is up to his usual tricks with regard the census statistics. He’s not interested in the huge unprecedented increase in the population, nor the resultant pressures on housing health and other public services or a massive and permanent change to the cultural makeup of the UK.
All he seems concerned about is the increase in the number of people classifying themselves as “mixed-race”, and apparently there’s a Newsnight feature on it tonight.

This looks like a deliberate attempt by the BBC to divert attention from the important issue of immigration and population growth – something I suspect concerns people far more than liberal navel-gazing about mixed-race. When was this Newsnight feature planned I wonder, probably days ago if not more. A deliberate attempt to divert attention from the real issue?

Easton is doing no more than he has to. The indigenous population must continue to be deceived as to the real level of immigrant driven population replacement that is going on- emigrants are overwhelmingly indigenous. It is without precedent in our history and in all honesty I now believe the liberal fantasists are starting to panic.
      Expect a racking up of the propaganda;
      1. Economic arguments that ignore reality.
      2. We need immigrants because we say so.
      3. All opposition is racist
      4. Keep feeling guilty over the Empire, slavery etc etc etc. Guilt is what keeps you silent .
And I could go on and on.
The real divide is between those, like the liberal fantasists who speak ill of us , our culture, and dream of an unattainable future and those of us who think that human nature never really changes . That is is folly to expose a people to danger of social unrest and worse . That there has always been and always will be a clash of cultures in this world. That to look ahead without emotion and avoid taking risks with a nation is the proper task of a leader,
But we do not have any leaders who really believe that England is a nation and the English are a people any more. I can think of no greater recipe for future disaster than this.

Thanks for the link – I like the sound of her – she’s not prepared to remain silent. If only we all had the courage to be as bold and speak our minds, whatever the circumstances. I’m surprised she wasn’t arrested, though. That’s why many of us remain silent – it’s too risky in modern Britain. Sometimes it takes an outsider to really appreciate and highlight what we are slowly losing.

I thought this sort of thing was supposed to end once we got rid of the Cowboy and anointed The Obamessiah who would restore our status in the world and did that video love letter to the Muslims? Any thoughts, BBC?

The Beeboids have had some fun sniping at Boris, Jeremy Hunt and Theresa May.

G4S provided lots of mileage for the private sector bashers.

I sense that today the BBC is concerned that this Olympic negativity has gone too far. It could take the shine off the grand Blair/Livingstone/BBC project.

So Nicky Campbell parks this story and wants to talk about gay marriage.

Oddly, Campbell, on more than one occasion, brings up the issue of second marriages for divorcees.

Special pleading? A Beeboid with a personal axe to grind? God forbid.

The bBC, Polio and the reason why it exists in certain parts of the world (The liberal version)
UN polio vaccine doctor injured in Karachi attack
Gunmen have attacked a UN vehicle, critically injuring a doctor who was administering polio vaccines in the southern Pakistani city of Karachi. The foreign doctor was in the run-down Sohrab Goth area of the city, officials say. His driver was also hurt. No group has said it carried out the shooting, but the Taliban have issued threats against the polio drive and are thought to be active in Sohrab Goth.

So the faithful have attacked the hand that feeds them (Yet again) and the bBC (which can report with facts and figures (and lies) when NATO have slotted a terrorist in darkest Afghanistan within seconds, is unable to inform the reader just which band of brothers would attack an Aid worker in Pakistan , instead they point their shit covered fingers at the usual suspect for the reason why Muslims may be targeting Aid doctors. I quote:
There has been opposition to such immunisation drives from some powerful clerics while a fake CIA vaccination campaign, which helped to locate Osama Bin Laden in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad, is thought to have had a detrimental effect as well.
Detrimental effect you say bBC? Lets have a wander down memory lane shall we?
2009 2 years before Osma went swimming in the Indian ocean.
    Polio threat to Pakistan children
The continuing conflict in Pakistan has left more than a million children at risk of contracting polio. Vaccination programmes earlier this year were compromised by opposition from militants ..In some places, Taliban extremists have intervened and stopped programmes, calling them un-Islamic.
    2008 Nigerian anti-polio chief removed
The chief of a village in northern Nigeria has been suspended from office for divorcing his wife because she had her children immunised against polio…In 2003, some Nigerian Islamic leaders said the immunisations were part of a Western plot to make Muslims infertile. They brought a halt to the vaccination campaign in the north of the country for a year, during which the number of new cases exploded. “[Mr Ali] still believes that polio vaccine can render children infertile,” Borno State spokesman Usman Ciroma told AFP news agency.
2007 Pakistan polio drive is suspended
A polio vaccination programme in a remote Pakistani tribal region has been suspended after villagers threatened health workers, officials say
2005 Nigeria’s fight to vanquish polio
Two years ago polio immunisation was halted in the northern state of Kano and the surrounding area.
A scare story emerged suggesting that the oral polio vaccine was contaminated with oestrogen and could cause infertility.

According to the bBC the reason why Polio still exists is due to the Americans taking out their hero OBL. Yet as I have proved with articles from the bBC. (Sorry about the lack of links but if I inserted all the links this missive won’t post.) the faithful have been attacking aid workers for at least 7 years before OBL tried out his new concrete shoes in the Indian ocean.

The bBC, the traitors in our midst.

Another triumph for The Obamessiah’s economic policies:

Disability Ranks Outpace New Jobs In Obama Recovery

More workers joined the federal government’s disability program in June than got new jobs, according to two new government reports, a clear indicator of how bleak the nation’s jobs picture is after three full years of economic recovery.
The economy created just 80,000 jobs in June, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday. But that same month, 85,000 workers left the workforce entirely to enroll in the Social Security Disability Insurance program, according to the Social Security Administration.
The disability ranks have outpaced job growth throughout President Obama’s recovery. While the economy has created 2.6 million jobs since June 2009, fully 3.1 million workers signed up for disability benefits.

Fully supported by Mardell and Co., I’m sure. But will they report it honestly? This Welfare State is not sustainable.

New open thread please? this is halfway down page 2.

    Road deaths: UK news story…

“Government criticised as deaths on UK roads go up”
“The government has been criticised for a lack of leadership after the first increase in road deaths for nearly a decade.”
    6 more paragraphs…
“Our correspondent says the coalition ditched national targets when it came to power…”
    ‘Shocking’ (subheading)
…then you have to scroll down of course to get part of the truth:
“Road deaths might have gone up but – with the exception of last year – the number of people killed or seriously hurt on our roads still remains the lowest since national records began.”

and the “shocking” is in fact “It is shocking that road accidents are the main cause of death among young adults aged 16-24 …”

Then one minute research by Ows reveals that the rise is only due to the fact that there was a massive fall in 2010 (over 15% down [were the Coalition praised for 7 months of that?] and traffic levels 2% down that year)

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reported_Road_Casualties_Great_Britain

Also, the image clearly reveals that during the first 2 New Labour terms roads deaths down-trend almost flat-lined
