More BBC Marx

From the Telegraph…I can add no more…..

The BBC’s man of the people

The journalist Paul Mason is dead chuffed by a nice review of his book Why It’s Kicking Off Everywhere, a study of the Occupy movements, by the American historian Paul Le Blanc.

“This challenging ‘must-read’ volume is a journalistic account with a difference, informed as it is by radical and revolutionary social theory (most obviously, through not exclusively, Karl Marx),” writes Le Blanc.

Le Blanc is a hard-Left scholar who campaigns against “the dismissive or trash-and-bash attitude towards Lenin”. He disagrees with aspects of Mason’s analysis, but his review – in Links: the International Journal of Socialist Renewal – makes clear that the two men are on the same side of the workers’ struggle.

You may be wondering: can this Paul Mason be the same man who is paid from the BBC licence fee to offer rigorously impartial commentary in his job as Newsnight’s economics editor? The answer is yes.

Would that nice Mr David Gregory of the BBC please explain how Mason is able to keep his job if the BBC is as impartial as he claims and the Charter demands.

I am forced to pay £750 per annum for the upkeep of the EU, but pay nothing to UKIP. Pay £145.50 per annum for the upkeep of the BBC, but nothing to listen to Classic FM. And god knows how much tax I pay for the Green/AGW Theory/Subsidy gravy train, but I pay nothing for Henrik Svensmark’s wisdom. With no referendums on these issues due, the only action we in Britain can take against this Tory supported Marxism, is by refusing to pay the licence fee for the broadcasting arm of the Guardian Newspaper, but only by bravely standing up to the Gestapo. Welcome to David Cameron’s Britain.

Save youself £145 a year , dont pay the BBC . I dont , The BBC knows it and cant do anything about it . Not even sending threatning libellious letters .
Go onto the BBC licence resistance websites and see how the others have done .

This information, like Classic FM , is free .

This is actually the sort of tit bit which it is worth writing to your MP to complain about.
It gives him a substantial fact , one that is hard to ignore and one that clearly counters the ‘impartiallity’ bollocks.

While I agree that the book demonstrates something we already know about Paul Mason I can anticipate the BBC’s response. We can not expect BBC employees not to have political opinions but their on air material must demonstrate the rigorous neutrality and professionalism that the BBC is noted for. Mr. Mason gets his balance about right.

Apparently we are now arming the Syrian rebels. Whether Shiite or Sunni wins is of no interest to us although the Christians will suffer if the Saudi-backed SFA takes power. Take care.

If these BBC employees got their Marxist Socialist state, they would be the first to be killed. They are working for a capitalist state broadcaster and are enemies of the people if you read Marxist, Socialist theory.

I beat Mason to it by about ten months. And I think my assessment of the Occupiers has been borne out fairly well. The BBC wasn’t so accurate.

It is high time that the Department of Culture, Media and Sport and the bbc realised that television is not a critical service like the NHS or Emergency Services it is purely entertainment and entertainment is a very personal thing. What entertains one person may bore the socks off of another. The bbc is not going to be everyone’s cup of tea and it is entirely ridiculous that everyone should be forced against their will to fund the bbc whether they like them or not. It makes the bbc look like the Nazi dictators of the broadcasting industry. There is no evidence to support the notion that the bbc cannot survive without the TV license, there is plenty of evidence to the contrary however. DON’T PAY THE TV LICENCE!!!
