IT’S SAINT VINCE DAY…

Well, hasn’t today been Vince Cable day on the BBC? They have been salivating over him ALL DAY, and even his ludicrous idea of creating Britain’s very own Fannie May and Freddie Mac has gone without any serious economic analysis. Cable must be delighted how the BBC is playing along with his leadership bid and one wonders how Clegg must feel?

Lend money to people who are not creditworthy – sub-prime loans? Vince Cable is an Economic Criminal masquerading as a politician. He worked as an “economist” (joke) in a goldplated industry – Oil. He knows nothing about anything in real business.

Cable works on the principle that if you make enough differing, vague predictions over a long enough period of time you can select the ones which just happen to be nearest to being correct, have selective amnesia over the rest, and then proclaim your genius to the world in the hope that everybody will be so con-Vinced of your infallibility they will not bother to make any checks and find all the other incorrect predictions.

It’s a Keynesian dictum (and one which I adhere to myself).

‘It’s better to be vaguely correct than precisely wrong.’

Perhaps Dozy Dez the Dimwit Droid could direct me to a speech where ‘Vince Cable predicted the banking crisis’. never seen one myself.

Maybe someone who gives a damn about such things as the LibDems Party Conference could tell me this,
All recent reports of their conferences have always trumpeted their GREEN credentials-the loopier the scheme, the more that the BBC would be reporting it…”24 hours to ave the planet” and all that.
Yet-uniquely this year-not a peep, about the Liberals being Gaia`s chum…and no mention at all about Mighty Chris Huhne…he of the solar-powered trouser press.
Anybody here seen Chris?…and with the infantile bit on childrens books as cited by Liberals on Martha Kearneys execrable show…not a joke about “Macavity the Cat”!
Reckon Huhnes pay should be “docked” until we see him and his views on car sharing as a means of saving the planet….

I really dislike St. Vince. Let’s remember all thoses gaffs he has made. Do the public really beleive the gloss the BBc try to put on him? Oh and for the record I predicted the crash before he did.
