COMPARE AND CONTRAST

Compare and contrast the current top stories on BBC and Telegraph:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/terrorism-in-the-uk/9625623/British-al-Qaeda-gang-from-Birmingham-planned-another-911-in-UK.html

Subheading in the Telegraph: ‘An al-Qaeda inspired gang of British Muslims planned to carry out “another 9/11” in the UK with up to eight suicide bombers, a court heard today.’

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-20007532

…but on the BBC, they’re just ‘men’. Or ‘Birmingham men’. The only mention of Muslim or Islam is at the end of the story, to tell us that they tricked muslims into giving them cash for bona fide Islamic charities.

Bias? It seems to me the BBC seems determined to obscure inconvenient details.

Hat tip to the Biased BBC reader for the story

It’s not just the Telegraph. The Independent tells it like it is: ‘Another 9/11’: Islamic jihadists accused of planning huge coordinated suicide bomb campaign in London, as does The TimesA trio of British Muslims spearheaded a plan to set off eight suicide bombs that could have caused greater carnage than the July 7 London attacks, a court heard today.
The bBBC treatment is identical to that of the Grauniad – what a surprise! – and the Mirror, all the loony lefties lined up together.

Unfortunately, Islam Not BBC (INBBC) habitually bats for Islam.

Whether it’s e.g Andrew Marr’s or Rageh Omaar’s censored histories, or INBBC censoring of Muslim sex gangs, or the censoring out of the
Islam-inspired nature of jihad attacks in Britain, and around the world, the utterly biased pro-Islam pattern of INBBC propaganda is a constant.

“……. they tricked muslims into giving them cash for bona fide Islamic charities”

Financing jihad against the infidel is included among the functions of Zakat (the obligatory charitable donation that is one of the five pillars of Islam). I’m sure most reasonably informed Muslims know this but there seems to have been deliberate activity to obfuscate the point in sources available to western readers in recent years.

And yet the bBc which promotes this vision that all Muslims can only be pious missed this little snippet:
Ahmed banked the cash and invested it in online foreign exchange trading in an effort to make a profit.

it seems the bBC mistook Profit for Prophet. You see according to the bBC Muslims are forbidden to gamble or to accept the proceeds of gambling. But it seems these holy warriors who objected to the corruptive ways of the west , had no problem doing what they objected to the most.

Muslims the biggest hypocrites on the Planet,
and the bBC, the traitors in our Midst who defend them time and time again

I’m just sick of this endless bias, but I doubt complaining will do any good. How about making a new tab at on this website with a guide on how to avoid giving the biased tax avoiding pedos them any money at all through using catch up tv services? not everyone is aware that they can deny funding to the BBC by using catch up tv services.

  7. From now on we’ll be making it clear that this kind of terrorist activity is of a religious nature. However no doubt Dave Preiser and co. will think we’re having a go at Mitt Romney for highlighting Mormons. But at least we’ll have got it ABOUT right.

Islam is a political ideology masquerading for advantage as a religion. It is our domestic appeasers who insist it is a religion. .

How come you can spell my name properly but not your own? And do you have any thoughts on last week’s HIGNFY where Bacon made a couple of anti-Mormon “jokes”? Religious bigotry from a highly-paid, high profile BBC personality is okay by you (so long as it’s not about Islam, of course)?

The trolls really are coming out now. It’s as if you think DV laid down some sort of gauntlet with his post about decorum. You, “Owen Jonesy”, “Potty Toynbee”. Class acts, the lot of you. V droll.

The case is sub judice so reporting is heavily restricted, largely to elements of what comes out in court.

Nonetheless, the article includes the following:

‘Mr Altman said the men were “jihadists” and “extremists” who were influenced by an al-Qaeda affiliated preacher, Anwar al-Awlaki.’

While that is perfectly true Roland, it’s not really the point here.
What is at stake here is that these people believe they can somehow censor what we see and hear. They know instinctively what is best for us mere plebs (oops……plebs? has that word been overused and abused recently?).
They won’t mention the LE Fant in the room even tho we can plainly see it.
They may yet learn some lessons post saVILE but I doubt it.

That a ZZ Top tribute band was involved?

From the pictures they could be Jewish, or even Sikh. Mass suicide attack is a pretty clear indication of religion, the pictures not so much so.

The whole of Islam Not BBC (INBBC) is under strict central control to make it totally illegitimate to allow to be stated that the tenets of Islam are the cause of Islamic jihad violence.

So, for example, in the following report about the Pakistani teenager Malala, who was singled out and shot in the head by Islamic jihadist murderers of the Taliban, INBBC does its usual censorship job: INBBC gets no further than mentioning ‘militants’ /Taliban, censoring out the motivation of the tenets of Islam to commit violent jihad.
