    NIGERIA.

INBBC again misrepresents the nature of Islamic jihad massacres of Christians.

    Compare headlines-

    1.) ‘Jihadwatch’:-

“Nigeria: Muslim commits mass murder with jihad/martyrdom suicide bomb at Catholic Church”

    http://www.jihadwatch.org/2012/10/nigeria-muslim-commits-mass-murder-with-jihadmartyrdom-suicide-bomb-at-catholic-church.html

    2.) INBBC-

“Kaduna church hit in Nigeria suicide bomb attack”

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-20114839

Note how INBBC censors Islamic jihad murders from headline, mentioning only a church.

Note how there is no INBBC reference to Islam connection until the sixth paragraph.

    Some reading for INBBC:-

    “Islamikaze: Manifestations of Islamic Martyrology”

    By Raphael Israeli.

Anybody else find the arrest of Gary Glitter a bit odd?
    Talk about low-hanging fruit!
Am I being a bit cynical in thinking that the “detention of this man in his 60s”(oh go on , do tell us Met!) is the kite being flown to all Beeboids and the entertainers that bunked up in Liberty Hall throughout the 60s and 70s(Liberty Hall-our BBC, call it what you like)?
If there isn`t a massive queues of wrinkly old rockers and DJs BBC enablers suddenly going to Uzbekistan for those much loved “revival roadshows” of theirs…Heinz, Johnny and the Hurricanes, Dion and The Drifters(version 89)…then I`ll be surprised.
Let`s hope that Heathrow emigration are noting who`s suddenly forgotten their plectrum(oo er) that has been bothering them, having been lost in Varna sometime in 1975 etc, etc.
Funny that other suspects-like those Muslim gents of Rochdale or white van murderer of Cardiff-don`t get trawled across the media like Glitter`s been.
Any news on that Met/media nexus of evil that Leveson seems keen to muse upon….seems to suit the BBC very much when it comes to Andrew Mitchell or Gary Glitter.
All seems a bit convenient to me!

It has been a regular practice of the BBC to publish articles on political figures linked to recent books.

Sorry, let’s put that another way: if it helps the left’s agenda then it is a regular practice to publish articles on political figures linked to recent books.

Thus allegations can be repeated without fear. Remember this:

“The Rogue: The Search for Sarah Palin”, a book by Joe McGinniss, alleges Mrs Palin had an affair in the 1990s, and has used cocaine….It also claims the former Alaskan governor had a one-night stand with US basketball star Glen Rice.”
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-14928464

But what if the book is about that champion of the working class Joe Biden?

In “The Payoff” former Biden staffer, Jeff Connaughton, claims he is deeply disillusioned with the capital and embittered about his experience with the man who inspired him to enter politics. He describes Biden as an “egomaniacal autocrat” “determined to manage his staff through fear” and argues that President Obama is no different to most other Washington Democrats in his willingness to kowtow to Wall Street. He adds that both Obama and Biden are “both financially illiterate.”
    http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1012/82897.html#ixzz2AQtftSLx

Strong stuff, huh? Worthy of a mention? It appears not. Have you ever heard of this book? I thought not. By the way, it was published in SEPTEMBER!

Faced with the Bengazi allegations, a Democrat friend of mine told me not to believe anything I hear on Fox News. It’s all lies, he said. The charge against the BBC is more subtle: if it IS true, you won’t hear about it on Britain’s favorite broadcaster.

Perhaps readers would like a list of the BBC’s ignored (suppressed) political books?

The President is now so desperate that His campaign is actually attacking the Des Moines Register over their endorsement of Romney. Things are not looking good.

If Romney wins, BBC audiences will be absolutely stunned. They’ll have no idea about the Benghazi scandal, which is most likely the primary factor in edging Romney into the lead in so many new places. The US MSM no longer control the Narrative, the free press on the internet has seen to that, I think. Nor will BBC audiences have any idea of the ugliness of the President’s campaign, and the violence of some of His supporters.

Meanwhile, Mark Mardell is reporting that Romney’s supporters are “desperate”.

What’s really sad is that the only reason for which the BBC audience has been prepared in the event of a Romney victory is racism.

Duh, the echo chamber is this blog, of course. We’ve been told numerous times that the kind of views espoused by people like Peter Booker (or Lord Tebbit or James Delingpole) are actually only extremist minority viewpoints, unrepresentative of anyone outside this little blog which nobody reads, except for the few righteous folk who are aware of it and laugh at us. This site has been described as an extremist echo chamber over and over by people like you. Get it?

  11. Teddy Bear says:

    Oh the irony 😀

The BBC run a story about how the Catholic Church is going through efforts to posthumously revoke the Papal knighthood bestowed on Savile because of his child abuse.

This is the only article by the BBC that I can recall relating to Catholicism where the only negativity due to child abuse is directed at Savile and the BBC themselves.

Must be a bitter pill for them, and I can’t help smiling.

  12. Teddy Bear says:

Piece of news about former BBC Director General Thompson’s further involvement in this scandal. Two different sources claim to have alerted him to claims of child abuse involving Savile, but Thompson denies getting them.

So we are to believe that a scandal involving the BBC of this magnitude, and the likely ramifications were not conveyed to the hierarchy. Even if it were true, Thompson awarded himself an annual salary of £670k, but apparently did not have assistants intelligent enough to understand the importance of these alerts to have notified him.

Either way, it shows the complete lack of necessary qualities to justify its continuance.

Former BBC chief Mark Thompson’s office ‘had TWO alerts about Savile child abuse claims’

*Mark Thompson’s office was notified at least twice – once by a journalist and once again by ITV
*Mr Thompson was apparently not told of allegations on two occasions
*YouGov poll: 48 percent of respondents believe Thompson had not been honest about Savile affair
*Corporation is battling claims that its head of editorial standards, David Jordan, knowingly misled parliament last Tuesday

I hope the owners of the NY Times are taking note. After what Thompson has done to this country during his tenure, I can’t stand the thought of him living elsewhere.

    • David Preiser (USA) says:

The NY Times has already cleared Thompson of any wrongdoing. Their need for revenue is far more important than any moral values.

A whole lot more would have to come out for them to even think of reconsidering it.

Seems the BBC has ‘judgement’, but the rest of us simply have ‘opinion’.
I wonder how this comfortable in belief BBC senior director Mr. Mitchell feels twitter adheres to the BBC’s remit?
Maybe Mr. Snoddy can help answer, now that, having asked some awkward questions (and been offered waffle or clear tripe), he has joined many no longer under its unique, unaccountable umbrella.

“An inquiry is to begin into the culture and practices at the BBC in the era of alleged sexual abuse by Jimmy Savile.

Former appeal court judge Dame Janet Smith will also consider whether the BBC child protection and whistle-blowing policies are fit for purpose.”

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-20117669

And in a leaked draft of the report it is revealed that after 58 months of inquiries Dame Janet will recommend that the BBC should strive to be

    ‘….even more sanctimoniously Politically Correct…’

    I don’t like Mondays…..

So I turn on the radio to hear Nicky Campbell and Rachel Burden holding hands in a joint attack on Philip Hammond Defence Secretary.

[F.Y.I. The Beeboids don’t like Trident but do like Scottish independence – just an impression I pick up from this interview]

So the BBC couple attempt to lure the Tory minister into some side ally where they can mug him. When he points out that their arguments are ridiculous the couple fall back on the excuse – well we don’t have to explain ourselves, ‘some people may say’…..

Next up Brendan O’Neill of Spiked gives good account of himself against some ‘child protection consultant’. As he easily counters her daft arguments she becomes more shrill and so our Nicky steps in to save the day. What a gent. He interrupts O’Neil’s flow, claims time is up, then gives the last word to the child abuse industry drone.

LIBYA does not exist for INBBC now.

Not only is INBBC censoring on Obama’s role in Benghazi cover-up, but INBBC does not apparently now report anything on Libya, avoiding reference to e.g. violent conflict in Bani Walid.

    In contrast, ‘RT’ has this:

“‘Death and destruction in Bani Walid’ as media silent”

It was a different time I guess.

Violence ends Israel-Gaza truce is surely the most inane headline the BBC have used lately. By definition a truce (actually, in this case, an informal ceasefire) ends with violence. What else could possibly end it?

Militants in Gaza have fired 11 rockets into Israel, officials say, amid a flare-up in fighting which shattered a brief ceasefire between the two sides. Actually, I’m sure neither the Israelis nor the Palestinians used the word ‘militant’.
    |
It came hours after Israeli aircraft hit targets in Gaza, after militants fired rockets following the killing by Israel of a Gazan who Israel said fired mortars at its troops. You’re all following this I hope.

    • David Preiser (USA) says:

Surely that should read, “Too much violence against Israel ends Israel-Gaza truce”. The violence never stopped. Oops, silly me, I’m forgetting BBC editorial policy. They get complaints from both sides, you know.

The flip side of your complaint would be, “Israel’s genocide against Palestinians halted temporarily”.

Todays Telegraph has a wonderfully subversive piece of writing in it , from Boris Johnson.
I see it as the sequel to a piece that he wrote a few months ago, about the BBC and its hypocritical double mindedness.
Would recommend that anybody read it, so that Steve Bell etc see that the so-called “right” do their cartoons and caricatures with words, and not crude abuse.
Johnson skewers the Guardian today-if only the stupid lefties who read (and write for) it would only crawl off and die of shame…but they`ll not recognise themselves!
You know something-Boris should be given the Tory job…Cameron forfeited any right to it after giving Blair that standing ovation as he left us the omnishambles of a nation he created for us.
That public school toff was hammered by Michael Howard for his claims to speak on education…but this great moment that showed Labour for what they are is never repeated by the BBC is it?
Boris forTory leader-he KNOWS that the BBC/Guardian is “the enemy”…and this fine article would kill a less shameless nexus of weevils, in any just world!
