A Warm BBC Welcome For The Green And Radical Left

Woman’s Hour  (about 21 mins in) presented us with an interesting guest…Hilary Wainwright editor of …..Red Pepper …. a magazine of political rebellion and dissent, influenced by socialism, feminism and green politics.….who or what is her hero?……’OCCUPY’.

Shame the BBC didn’t tell us exactly what Red Pepper represents…..unlike all those ‘right wing’ think tanks or pressure groups they always find time to so label making sure that you are in no doubt as to the ‘agenda’ behind their words.

What is interesting is that look who is one of Red pepper’s inhouse writers….Jeremy Hardy…..the BBC’s favourite lefty comedian…or one of them.

What does he say of interest…oh yes…..‘Competition is not healthy.‘.…I’ll let you read it….it’s not even the stuff of 6th form debating societies.

I take it you’re using the term “comedian” very loosely in the same sentence as jeremy Hardy

he’s about as funny as a fortnight’s worth of diarrhoea

I think there would be a huge amount of comedy value if the person with two weeks of the s***s – you know the really bad kind you get in Port Said – was that foul excrescence Hardy. I would laugh at him moaning and whimpering as he crawled to the khazi for the 237th time…. No doubt he would blame ‘Fatcher’.

Well that’s just won my competition for the worst article I’ve ever read!

Actually on there is an article that rips Obama a new one…from the Left perspective and written by “a fifteen year-old school student”.

Woman’s hour is aimed at the non-working middle class woman who probably has an affluent husband out working to bring home the bacon.

Sadly, this is just the type of woman who wants to hear about tosh like Red Pepper, and the BBC knows it.

Good observation. I am reminded of Glastonbury Woman – dresses like a peasant but drives there in a Volvo.

Best if such a person never intros his missus to Andrew Marr then.
He seems to feel Darwinian competition rules can apply, albeit uniquely and with a a nifty line in explanation post-event.
Picture (sorry, pre-breakfast I know) a Bateman cartoon with a hapless cuckold at the foot of his wife’s bed treated to him and Clinton emerging from cupboards with their trews round their ankles, both claiming ‘It was just a drunken clinch’

Although BBC-NUJ readily uses the political epithet ‘far-right’ as part of its vocabulary, there is no such BBC-NUJ phrase as ‘far-left’ used to describes its ‘Red Pepper’ comrades.

‘Far right’ – White males who earn the average national wage or less, and aren’t entirely keen on witnessing their home towns turned in to third-world slums.

Clarkson, rightly, often gets criticised for some of the rubbish he says. But where’s the indignant response to this sort of mindless toss? I’m sick of this sort of separatist nonsense from people with chips on their shoulders. They call themselves socialists while also supporting ‘positive discrimination’ (an oxymoron) and other separatist crap. These two things are incompatible. Jeremy Hardy shouldn’t even have a platform on the BBC after saying anyone that has ever voted for the BNP should be taken outside and shot in the back of the head.

(I’ve never voted BNP and never would do. I still take huge offence to Hardy’s statement.)

Why doesn’t the BBC follow the example of the Northern Ireland peace process and “decommission” Jeremy Hardy, Marcus Brigstocke, Sandi Toksvig, et al?
