Swings And Roundabouts, Seesaws To Wagon Wheels

Funny the things that the BBC will ‘campaign’ for.

Osborne limits welfare rises to 1%…..the BBC goes into overdrive to tackle the unfairness of that….Labour’s immigration policies put the British working class on the scrapheap and price everyone out of housing…not a word.

The Coalition puts up VAT and the BBC move in once more to denounce this policy for its patent unfairness…that of costing the poor more (despite assessments that suggest the poor actually hardly have their costs raised at all by the VAT rise whilst the well off pay a great deal more)….Labour imposes Quantitative Easing…which raises inflation and lowers the value of the Pound…..not a peep from the BBC at the time about the costs of that on the ‘poor’.

Point of order – QE is a Bank of England policy, not one imposed by Labour. I basically agree with you, though I’ve heard the financial radio programmes discussing the effect of QE on pensioners’ annuities.

Isn’t it obvious? The BBC are labours mouthpiece in every way, shape and form. Sky are getting as bad but the difference is we don’t have to have sky. Enforced socialist broadcasting company brainwashing the feeble minded into a love of all things red.

    BBC 1 9:00pm: Britain’s Hidden Housing Crisis.
    ============================

Hidden? Hidden? During the Labour years we saw house prices soar to 10x earnings in many areas. Record numbers on waiting lists. Record numbers of young people unable to leave their parents. There was NOTHING hidden about this, unless they mean the BBC hid these awkward truths – but the facts were available from other more reliable news sources. But now they can fling mud at the Tories they’ll show a prime-time documentary.

Any bets on whether the Beeb will explore just WHY we have so many people chasing so few houses?

Awful programme. There was an agenda there, in your face, and I wonder what the truth was behind the “evictions” of some of these people? The large family of thickos with six kids looked to me like the archetypal “problem” family with a history of being a pain in the arse – you don’t get evicted for cracking a window. Funny we never saw the respective council’s side of the story…

I haven’t had a pay rise in 4 years at the place I’ve worked for 23 years.

And they’re bleating about the dole moles only getting a 1% rise……

As the man said, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry……

The BBC are totally committed to the Globalist agenda, thus the encouragement of mass immigration trumps every other concern.

They do not give two hoots about the ethnic British workign class, and IMO never did. The apparent trumpeting of their rights a few decades ago, was never anything more than a tool to use them as a battering ram against the indigenous traditional Conservative hereditary elite, which they wanted to replace.

The words of the prophets are written on the blogging screen…bit cold out there to be painting up subway walls isn`t it?
Brilliant article-but tails off at the end.
Still-when Reagan is your new de Toqueville, you`re living in very interesting times…much as Mao would have quoted before selling your family the executioners bullet.

Not least as, best I can recall (from the grudging admissions at the time our Stuart was peddling his wares) they are not meant to ‘campaign’ at all.
It’s like the Editorial Guidelines and Charter are more options in the unique way the BBC can behave.
