Acid Drops

Two girls have acid thrown in their faces on a Muslim majority Island.

The BBC think this may be one of Mark Mardell’s ‘senseless tragedies’

‘….it was the first time visitors to the island had been attacked in this way, describing the incident as “alien” to both the police investigating and the victims.

Officers had no idea as to the motive.

But just in case anyone should be speculating they highlight this:

“It was not a civilised act, it is not Islam.”

Why would anyone say that if there was no idea as to the motive?

Compare the BBC’s version of events to that given in the Telegraph:

Zanzibar acid attack: finger pointed at radical Islamic group as five questioned over assault on British teenagers

Five men are being questioned by police over the acid attack on two British charity volunteers in Zanzibar as suspicion grew that a radical Islamic group may have inspired the assault.

The BBC tells us (last updated (15:07 9th Aug) the police have no idea of the motive and that this is a completely alien event.

The Telegraph tells us that there is a likely motive and that it has happened on the island before, though not to a tourist….so not such an ‘alien’ incident to the police in reality.

Its quite common for Muslims to attack for Muslims to throw acid into a woman’s face. Not alien at all. I think there have been several cases of this in the UK.

      and then this

ONE OF BRITISH TEENAGE VOLUNTEERS ATTACKED WITH ACID IN ZANIBAR, SMACKED TWO WEEKS AGO BY MUSLIM FOR SINGING DURING RAMADAN……..

Let me be Captain Obvious again: police arresting five members of an Islamic group is a ‘fact’. Even if you think the Islamic angle is absurd and it was actually militant UKIP members, it’s still a fact and any *ethical* journalist should report that.

Refusing to report stuff that actually happened isn’t just bias, it’s malpractice.

      Ah, signs.
I was once (!) in a bar in Thailand and noticed one to the effect that they truly respected the religious sensibilities of their middle eastern guests.
Asking what that meant exactly, I was told that they were getting little fed up with minor princes dropping off the dish-dash in the limo en route to Patpong, getting slaughtered on Black Label and beating up the youngest hostesses they could find.
So if one ended up in the river, well, ‘respect.
On this too, one suspects the BBC would have no idea.

Think how the harpies of the BBC and libby-left react if you dare to suggest that women who wander round city centres in micro-miniskirts and paralytic at three in the morning are perhaps unwise and putting themselves at risk of rape.

Maybe this woman didn’t choose her words carefully but I hope to hell she is not trying to imply that somehow these girls ‘had it coming to them’…

And therein lies the hypocrisy and self-contradictory insanity of the lefty Feminist. Women never ever deserve to be raped, no matter how they are dressed, unless they are underage white girls who “were groomed by” …sorry “teased and led on” Islamic gentlemen, who clearly, being from such an innocent and peaceful religion, would not be able to resist the lusty charms of such young women (12 year olds)…

The BBC racist feminists make me sick!

Oh, apart from the slight detail (hardly with mentioning really) that in April “Mary Konye” was arrested and charged with the offence. “Mary” being another one of those old traditional Christian Muslim names…

As you say, everyone knows who does this kind of thing. Even if they agree that it’s for the public good not to report, they still see that the BBC hides and obfuscates when necessary. And, as the BBC becomes more brazen, they are beginning to question what else the BBC has decided is good for us not to hear.

Live from St Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge, Martin Handley presents a concert of music for one of the most solemn periods of the church year: the forty days of Lent. For Christians, this is a season of spiritual reflection and self-examination, and tonight’s concert includes works in that penitential vein by French and Czech composers. Poulenc’s four motets have become a classic of the choral repertoire – as has his simple and heart-felt setting of prayers to the Black Virgin of Rocamadour, a work which marked the recovery of his lapsed Catholic faith after a spiritual crisis.”
