All Is Not As It Seems

Victoria Derbyshire has on Bishop Nazir Ali (11:54) to talk about attacks on Christians…all going well until he mentioned Egypt when Derbyshire said:

‘Some might quibble…some argue that Muslims are now being targeted and that’s as bad as any other religious group being targeted.’

She goes on to mention that the Taliban claim that the attack on the church in Pakistan was in retaliation for American drone strikes….how does that explain attacks on Christians in Egypt or anywhere else?

Muslims being targeted in Egypt?  Well a political party is being targeted, the Muslim Brotherhood…one which bases its policies on the teachings of the Koran but it is a political party none the less….and of course the Army is ‘Muslim’ so it is a strange comparison from Derbyshire.

Also consider that when bombs went off in the UK the Muslims that carried out the attack were labelled ‘political’, ‘extremists’, and essentially not Muslims.

Yet now the highly political and extremist Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt are to be considered normal, everyday ‘Muslims’.

It seems now that your normal, non political Muslim isn’t really a Muslim, not a proper one in the BBC’s eyes…but the extremist Muslim Brotherhood are the true believers.

And on another topic….Derbyshire is interviewing Damien McBride tomorrow (Tuesday)….John Pienaar reckons if McBride thinks he’s ‘hard’ then he might have to think again….sounds like an interesting interview.

vicky gets on my nerve with her pandering and sucking up to muslims on her show, the coptic christians in egypt are living in absolute fear on attacks on them by muslims, so is the same in fate for christians in pakistan.how vicky trys to put a a red herring into the conversation claiming it is the other way around just shows how much research she does on her topics, total zip,why dont vicky and her mates down at bbc hq send a team of journalists over to egypt and pakistan to report the truth about what is happening to the christian community in them countrys, one bit of good news tonight.the eygytian army and state has dissolved and banned the muslim brotherhood as a politacal entity operating in that muslim country, the bad news is the muslim brotherhood has not been banned from england where they have there main offices in london and operate freely to spread the hate and extremism.

      A slight change please:
      – send individual BBC journalists wearing cosses on to the streets of egypt and pakistan;
      – send lone BBC journalists wearing the niqab on to the streets of the UK, where Muslims are supposedly oppressed;
      – have an independent assessor of the number of injuries.

Then the BBC can display their 1984-ish thinking and
      – tell us all why the Muslims were right to beat them up,
      – and how, at the same time, the people who attacked them aren’t true Muslims.

      I’m not saying they’d learn anything – they’re too far gone – but it’s a programme I’d watch.

Peshawar horror as Muslims massacre and maim Christians

    http://www.archbishop-cranmer.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/peshawar-horror-as-muslims-massacre-and.html

I have followed Cranmer’s writings for years, but have never seen him as angry as today.

There is hardly any doubt that what we are seeing in various parts of the Islamic world, will happen here as well. Heck, it already has – 7/7, beheadings, and tens of thousands of young girls gang raped, while the authorities deliberately turned their eyes away. This is obvious to any one who has studied Islam.

      Contd

And still the BBC led with the Nairobi atrocity, and placed the Peshawar horror beneath even Ed Miliband’s mutterings about absolutely nothing. As the day progressed, the story languished beneath Angela Merkel’s victory in Germany, suffering in Somalia and news of the Emmy awards in LA. But it was only 78 Christians, so it ended the day as a single line in the bottom left-hand corner; an insignificant indication; an obscure footnote.

The BBC also has to bear in mind that there are a million or more Pakistanis in Britain.

“Christians routinely have their houses burned, their schools and hospitals destroyed, and their churches desecrated and vandalised. In Pakistan, it is not uncommon for entire Christian families to be burned to death inside their houses.”

And the BBC routinely view these events as non-stories, as illustrated by the Cranmer artlicle linked (and thanks for that link DP111).

This is where the Trust should show some balls, because the BBC are definitely not supposed to be a propaganda cheer-leader for the RoP.
That is well outside the BBC Charter – the Trust can hang them up and rip them apart.

Make the BBC explicitly mention ‘Muslims murdered so-many people’ in each headline – not imply churches mysteriously exploding all on their own.

Make the BBC give news-stories priority by the number of people killed – not by the publicity wishes of the Muslims.

        Make the BBC give facts.
News must contain facts only, not unrelenting editorial opinion.
Currently the BBC mislead viewers by mixing the two. Some brief examples below.

Someone who wants to impose Sharia law by murder is a Muslim terrorist, not a militant making an argument.

It was not Asians implementing a nationwide trade in teenage non-Muslim sex slaves – it was Muslims.

And the fact that it took so long for the various Police services to do anything about it, and the collusion of social services, is other important news that should have been headlines for weeks.

Are these really such difficult demands to make of it?

If the BBC will not do this then does it really have a place as a news provider?

The best description I heard was the “Department of Boozing, Snoozing and Losing” which for me sums it up nicely. Apart from squandering countless millions of pounds of our hard earned money on self glorification projects and propping up Grand Theatrical Productions that one a couple of people out of every hundred thousand ever go to see does anybody know what use it serves and if anybody would really miss it if it was disbanded tomorrow?

Christians in Pakistan, and in almost all Islamic countries (Syria an exception), are so viciously persecuted that they don’t have the courage to even say they are persecuted. To them it must be incomprehensible, that a supposedly Christian West is more concerned about not offending Muslims, then give a thought to their state.

I have never known Cranmer to get angry. He has always been polite, good mannered, and graciously forgiving Christian. For him to say “May they rot in hell”, indicates that his Christian tolerance and forgiveness has reached its limit.

Now here is an article by David Warren on the same subject

          In other news

It was quite a scene, by the Kohati Gate in Peshawar this morning, where two of Pakistan’s Islamist savages blew themselves up among parishioners leaving All Saints Church after morning services. About two hundred Christians have been killed or maimed, by the local press estimate. As I write, the police are putting down a Christian demonstration, demanding justice. The police in Pakistan are utterly corrupt; many are also Islamist psychos. There may well be additional attacks on the mourners, when the dead from the slaughter are buried.

There have been innumerable attacks on Christians of all confessions, throughout Pakistan; this would seem to be the largest to date. Since the foundation of Pakistan as an Islamic state — which in itself involved the slaughter of a million non-Muslims trying to get out — Christians have been persecuted. There remain perhaps three million of them, mostly Catholic, keeping their heads down in the land of their birth.

The real traitors are the last Labour government. This is the government that ignored the cries of tens of thousands of young girls, as they were being systematically gang raped by Muslim perverts from dar ul Islam, over a period of a decade.

The authorities now claim that they didn’t know. Of course they do, but it is inconceivable that they didn’t know. The shame that they have brought on the entire nation is so huge, that the entire establishment is keen on sweeping it under the carpet.

Historians will view this chapter in our history as one of the most shameful, if not the most. I cant think of any episode in world history, where a government has given its young girls to be gang raped by aliens, even when the nation was facing imminent invasion.

The bBC is disgusting last night they found a hijab wearing women to speak about how those followers of Allah who are running rampage in Kenya are not Muslims that Islam is a wonderful faith and that it forbids killing. They kind of tripped up when she then exclaimed that she was a Muslim first, which at a stroke destroyed this myth that Islam is a region of peace.

The standard of interviewing on Radio 5 is dreadful on all topics except football and trivia.

Derbyshire is amateurish when it comes to serious topics, but no worse than others, for example Richard Bacon.

I think she imagines her cool, calm, measured tones give her some gravitas, but they don’t compensate for an obvious minimal grasp of the issues she is talking about.
