The BBC looks down on climate change ‘deniers’….dismissing them as unqualified ‘bloggers’…unlike English graduate Roger Harrabin who can speak authoritatively on climate science….being an English graduate presumably he knows how to write a convincing tale even if not in possession of all the facts.
It happened after bloggers seized on a Met Office paper revising downward its decadal global temperature projection for 2017.
Which is why this is so amusing…especially as it is from Harrabin’s climate propagandist sidekick Dr Joe Smith:
‘It is handy that the Internet came along at precisely the same moment as
‘the greatest challenge facing humanity’.
The bloggers will save us all!
And here again Smith is at odds with the scientific consensus

Shame the infamous Professor Phil Jones from UEA’s CRU admitted he’d love the planet to fry….

the bbc looks down on all bloggers that dare to critisise there bias,i mean, since i have been posting comments in this blog i would say i have been enriched by the diversity of views and opinions from other contributors to this blog,that cant be a bad thing can it.
The climate scientists thought the internet would enable them to distribute their propaganda more efficiently. Sadly for them (but fortunately for us) there were enough able sceptics to counter them using the same technology.
tha accuuality or otherwise of Climate Change is entirely irrelevant to the zealots – they simply see it as a mechanism by which they can impose their policies on the world – without anybody getting a chance to say no. I am fairly certain that every single senior Green is aware that Climate Change is a complete scam – and the useful idiots who do believe it are useful foot soldiers. The real ambitions of greens – redistribution of wealth (at gun point if necessary), de industrialisation, de population, vegetarianism, animal ‘rights’, rationing, controlled fertility….. All on the agenda. Most of which thought up by Himmler in the first place.
Spot on CCE. The ‘greens’ know this. Hard core socialists with a bent for world domination know this. The Club of Rome know this. Common Purpose know this. The UN/IPCC know this. And a few of us who have woken up to the reality of the ‘climate change’ charade know this.
Unfortunately only a tiny proportion of the UK population know it. The question is: how to turn that into a majority? Because unless the BBC are exposed for their blatant lying and the agenda behind it, their malign and undemocratic influence will continue unchecked.
Think back to the 1950’s, and consider that, for any of a number of reasons, it was necessary, despite the fact of the matter, to maintain that the Soviets had a far superior numerical and technological edge in space/weapons-delivery rocket/missile stocks.
This fiction was supposedly maintained on the theory that it spurred growth in what the American President Dwight Eisenhower liked to call the “military-industrial complex.” Ike himself knew the facts, and when Senator John F. Kennedy accused him of falling down on the job, Ike stayed schtum, for to rumble JFK and tell him that JFK knew not arse from hole in ground could serve no good purpose. Once he was out of office, Ike could vaguely hint, in the MIC speech, that the West was being buffaloed and that it was all a sick game.
But of course, it fell upon the BBC and others to sensationalise what people like JFK were saying, because it contributed to a “Let’s you and him fight– we’ll hold your coats!”-J. Wellington Wimpy opportunistic chance to get worried people to watch stories about how we’re doomed– DOOMED, I tell ya!– unless something were done– something, that of course, required much State expenditure and expansion. For them to say something along the lines of “Move along– nothing to see here!” would have got them the “That’s-what-they-said-in-the-30’s” treatment, even if they had known the facts– so how intent do you suppose they were going to be to find out, if they could have done?
What has all this to do with Climate Change? I should think it were obvious– they would rather publicise the lurid CAGW type of claim, and let it be used to spur more state intervention (their usual bias), rather than actually address the fact that even someone supposedly on their side, Bjorn Lomborg, has said it’s likely a fool’s errand to try to do anything about it besides develop alternative energy which INCLUDES nuke and fracking.
And of course, nothing like a null-hypothesis of let’s-do-nothing would ever occur to them.

Sorry-but its that “passion” bit that bothers me.
The likes of Own Jones confuse shouting over opponents with being passionate…passion is a New Labour therapeutic virtue, and if exuberance leads to people dying in mid-Staffs( the unions are passionate about keeping their jobs, and the moths of opponents stitched up)-then that`s a price we can pay for them.
Judge Roland Friesler was passionate in his defence of the Nazi regime…and though he could be said to have been over exuberant, no-one could dispute his passion for Hitler and his regime.
Had it been wind turbines or the need to stay in the EU Volk…the Greens and Owen etc would agree that he was right to be a bit brusque with a few Jews in their NSDAP denials.
With the left then ends justify the means-at all times.
