This from Bishop Hill…..where is the outrage at the intimidation and violence of the greens, including firing flares at police helicopters? Why is ‘green’ thuggery and violence any different to any carried out for instance by the EDL during their protests?
More violence and intimidation from greens
The Mail is reporting that environmentalists are flocking to the iGas site at Barton Moss, where they are intimidating the locals, spitting at policemen and generally behaving badly.
[Chief Inspector] Roberts said the force had recorded offences of assault, damage, harassment of residents and workers, a flare fired at the police helicopter and threats to kill.
‘I attended a residents’ meeting last week and people there were close to tears and have had enough of this daily disruption to their lives,’ he continued.
‘Locals, who initially supported the protesters, out walking their dogs and driving down Barton Moss Road have been approached by protesters in balaclavas and have been questioned by them, which has been extremely intimidating.
This is perhaps a good moment to ask ourselves whether the BBC has ever made a programme critical of environmentalism or environmentalists.
‘whether the BBC has ever made a programme critical of (the clearly unacceptable realities of much claiming to be) environmentalism’
First there was ‘Silent Spring’.
Maybe, next, ‘Comments Are Closed’?

No doubt the violence will be featured on Crimewatch, accompanied by a gallery of mugshots.
Then again….

One example from Toady this morning.
A fracking/Big Oil Rep was confronted by a harping Sarah Montague about the cost of policing Balcombe last year.
It cost £4million so they say.
And not a peep about why it costs us so much to allow a legally authorised company to go about trying to wean us off Labours wind turbine madness. The £4million is due to the Labour Liberal greenie pressure groups-unelected and self-appointed gobshites-who threaten, abuse, target and otherwise hound people out of their lawful business.
But Sarah blames Quadrilla…no blame whatsoever to the Green thugs, Red menace and day glow orange squeezers.
BBC scum.

But the ‘protesters’ aren’t environmentalists. Most of them are the travelling circus of unwashed lefties who previously camped outside St Paul’s Cathedral as part of the ‘Occupy’ movement/ UK Uncut, and just turn up to whatever violent anti-capitalist protest is flavour of the month.

Indeed. Having a genuine concern for the environment, even to the point of pointing out abuses in protest, can surely be no bad thing.
Hence genuine environmentalists should be appalled how the whole thing has been hijacked by those using it as an excuse to piggy back activism that often has zero to do with things green. Especially when egged on or facilitated by the Masonic editorial of complicit activist media.

There has NEVER been any thuggery carried out by the EDL .

Love to see an audit trail of BBC communications with environmental activists. We pay for it, right?
Greenpeace for example are utterly evil They have a train poster campaign right now, with the usual Geenpeace threat of violence if you don’t go along with their malign views. It goes “The North Pole is melting. You’d better believe it” Really? Or you’ll what?
Remember their TV ad with the hooded thug blaming”older people” for wrecking his climate?
Greenpeace’s name should be an offence under the Trades Description Act. The Green is red, and their action is threat of violence not peace.
Greenpeace, WWF, CAFOD, Christian Aid, RSPB, the gravy train of green jobs peddling lies is endless. It would be laughable but for the fact our national broadcaster is in the pocket of these green thugs.

If the police weren’t there, neither would these delightful little darlings be. Fact is, the presence of Plod protects these cowardly oxygen thieves again and again from the consequences of their own actions, i.e. retaliation in their own coin by those they choose to intimidate.
