Hotheads

From WUWT:

It turns out that it is the Potheads and not the Petrolheads who are destroying the planet with vast clouds of CO2, guzzling water vast resources and using huge quantities of electricity……

  • During California’s growing season, outdoor grows consumed roughly 60 million gallons of water a day – 50% more than is used by all residents of San Francisco.
  • In California, indoor pot growing accounts for about 9% of household electricity use.
  • For every pound of pot grown indoors, 4600lbs of carbon dioxide goes into the atmosphere. California’s production equates to emissions of 3 million cars.

Not saying any of the creative types at the BBC who lecture us about climate change should be feeling any guilt, nor their artistically gifted friends….but dude..you’re destroying the planet!!!  Stick to cocaine man, it’s more environmentally friendly!

But plants as anyone with the slightest knowledge of botany will tell you, absorb the CO2, which in any case exists as only a harmless trace in the atmosphere.

I think you will find that the “CO2 footprint” that Mr Watts refers to is down to the energy required (used) for indoor production.

And that CO2 is sustenance for plant life across the globe. So your point is?

No dispute on the plant food point. I think you will find that the point Watts is making (If you bothered to read his post)is that it is the ecoloons are the ones screaming about “CO2 Footprints”.
          Hence my “”.

          Your point is?

My point was to clarify DR’s point, which I thought you might have misunderstood. The way I read it was who gives a flying frack who or what emits CO2 – it’s not the ‘pollutant’ the ecoloons have ludicrously made it out to be and the natural environment i.e. plant life will thrive on it, as has been proven as CO2 levels have risen.

Sounds like we were talking at cross purposes.

              Johny.
Both my points point out the irony of the ecoloons complaining about CO2 and then promoting the production of weed.

Stick to Islam – you’re better read on that subject – before picking fights.

Get your facts straight: I rarely post on Islam – far more on global warming and infinitely more on that subject than you’ve done on this site. Or are you an old hand hiding behind yet another new name?

The conciliatory tone of my last post obviously lost on you as was the point I was making, though I suspect your obtuseness might be through choice – the Islam thing a bit of a giveaway, no?

And btw, fights I’ll choose wherever and whenever it suits me. Look forward to the next one.

    Breaking BBC? Ok, that’s meth.
At least it looks like Richard Bacon is now a shoo-in for the hole Black left.

    Yes ,they`re great aren`t they?
Their old dope gives puffs only of lavender and sustainable magic dragons.
Whereas electronic ciggies may well give you-well, who`s to say, but ban them until we find that excuse.
Hypocrisy…but what else do we expect these days from the Wiggs?

I always find that the lefties who want to control us and curb our freedoms are quick to try to ban cars, smoking, drinking and junk but stay very silent when drugs are involved….wonder why! Double standards as always from our intellectual betters

  5. My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the costs.

But he’s tryiong none the less.
I’ve been using Movable-type on a number of websites for
about a year and am worried about switching to another platform.

I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it?
Any help would be really appreciated!
