More evidence of the baleful effect of the BBC upon our world……using research gathered by the BBC politicians are out to ban the humble baked bean from the world.
Yet another attack on the working man’s pleasure by the champagne socialists of the BBC liberali….whilst it’s left to the ‘out of touch’ Tories to support the bingo playing, beer drinking, baked bean feasting working man.
Labour’s Lord Simon said: “In a programme some months ago on the BBC it was stated that this country has the largest production of baked beans and the largest consumption of baked beans in the world.”
To laughter from peers, he added: “Could the noble baroness say whether this affects the calculation of global warming by the government as a result of the smelly emission resulting there from?”
They’ve hounded out of existence the populist News of the World, they’re trying to ban page three, they want to ban your motors, whatever next? The TV?
Oh…er…maybe not.
Have no fear bean munchers….science has come to the rescue…..utilising the gaseous virtues of the baked bean to drive your vehicle….so saving not just the baked bean but the car as well from the menace of the green meanies after your beanies…..
A million housewives, every day
pick up a can of beans and say…
“Where’s the fuckin’ tin opener?”

Got to earn the £300+ tax free daily allowance somehow.
Or she should stick to the Uninn method of clocking in at 10.00am and straight back out at 10.15am 300 quid up.
Close the job creation scheme for rejected MP’s and other assorted numptys now.

Is this a joke??
Because this is pure pardoy: ‘Yet another attack on the working man’s pleasure by the champagne socialists of the BBC liberali’
And all because “In a programme some months ago on the BBC it was stated that this country has the largest production of baked beans and the largest consumption of baked beans in the world.”
Not that they suggested they be banned, just stated the above fact.
Oh dear Alan, a load of hot air again. Not to late to delete this post before others notice.

This is the kind of diet that causes AGW and Climate Change, or is it the other way round.

I think as more people realise that CO2 is only such a tiny part of the atmosphere [ 0.04 % , and the vast majority of that is naturally produced ] , they will know it cannot have any effect on climate .
But methane is approx 25 times worse as a ” Greenhouse gas ” , so this might be another attempt by the AGW propaganda dept [ BBC ] to try to put the blame for ” Global Warming ” on to people that can be taxed for their sins .

I can actually remember reading an article years ago, when the Green Madness was first laying hold on the chattering classes, where somebody actually cited as a reason for encouraging vegetarianism the detrimental effect on the ozone layer and/or the Amazonian rainforest of the methane content of the farts and effluent produced by all the cattle raised on the Argentinian pampas to feed the unholy desires of all us feelthy carnivores. Not to mention the swathes of forestry they feloniously hacked down to make room for said cattle, all of which supposedly added up to an environmental timebomb which was sure to engulf us all in the near future.
Incidentally, I had occasion to visit Argentina subsequently and there was barely a tree to be seen. So either they weren’t there to begin with, or the Argies did a damn fine job of chopping them all down. There didn’t seem to be any hordes of farting cattle either, so maybe we were in the wrong bit.
Alternatively, AGW was bullshit (sorry, couldn’t resist that one….) even then.

DavidA ; Think you have the wrong country mate. The country causing real concern is actually Brazil.
The rain forests are so large that they form a very important part of the earth’s lungs. The rampant de-forestation is of great concern. No only does this provide huge volumes of O2 and use corresponding amounts of CO2 but the process could cause serious soil erosion and loss of habitat for many animal and bird species.
